    Space pvp

Still working through the changes, but I can see right away there's new space stuff. Update 1: Raw GOM Additions/Removals[1] - This is going to take a while to sort through. But, there is a ton of new space stuff. It even seems that you can have a talent spec for your fighter. Which is cool as hell. Update 2: ITEM(S) They must have a developer working on their internal database doing a spelling/label/id pass. This is making it hard to isolate only the new changes. I only saw one new item addition: the Gurian Volcano, which is not currently tagged as an Cartel Market Item, so keep your eyes open for it on the test server. Update 3 (THE MOTHERLODE): Ability Additions[2] This is it. This is a list of all the abilities added to the game. There were a few ability changes, but they were a little harder to isolate. This lists the names and description of a bunch of new SSSP-related abilities. Have at em. They also changed how the cooldown on every medpack in the game works. There were multiple categories. I highly suggest testing squad, regular, and warzone medpacks in Arenas to verify the shared cooldowns are working. Update 4: Codex Additions[3] Update 5: New Npcs[4] Update 6: Space Tutorial Graphic [5] - Ship UI Graphics [6] Update 7: Hey sorry for disappearing for so long, but I was trying to get one of the ship models to load. Here's the Republic Striker Ship [7] . There are lots of other ships as well, but they'll take me a little time to put back together. I also found the file with the ship talent descriptions in it. Here they are, as I don't think I'll be able to parse them tonight[8] . These appear to be ship upgrade names/descriptions[9] , again in raw form. Update 8: I wrote some code to parse the new ship models automatically, rather than by hand. Unfortunately there are tons of customizable ship attachment parts. It seems the upgrade items will actually upgrade the look of your ship. So, I'm sticking to the base ships right now. I also need to write some code to automate taking and combining the screenshots, as that's the bottleneck right now. Republic Gunship [10] Imperial Gunship [11] Republic Bomber [12] Republic Bomber B [13] Well the more I look at them the ship parts might be parts of the ship and not customizable. So, I'm stopping taking pictures right now, and will work on trying to get them combined. All the current ship screenshots are lacking major elements and should be looked on as incomplete. I'll try to work on my modelviewer when I get some time, but right now I'm out of time. All of the space stuff looks super awesome, and there's TONS OF IT. Assuming Bioware doesn't see this and beat me to the punch. I'll see what I can do this weekend and early next week. Update 9: Had a little time before work, and went through the UI files and found this: HighFlyer - 7200 Imperial Scout (Speed/Sensors Variant) Imperial Scout (Battle Variant) Imperial Scout (Support Variant) Republic Scout (Speed/Sensors Variant) Republic Scout (Battle Variant) Republic Scout (Support Variant) Imperial Strike Fighter (Fighter Variant) Imperial Strike Fighter (Attack Variant) Imperial Strike Fighter (Command Variant) Republic Strike Fighter (Fighter Variant) Republic Strike Fighter (Attack Variant) Republic Strike Fighter (Command Variant) Imperial Infiltrator (Disabler Variant) Imperial Infiltrator (Ambusher Variant) Imperial Infiltrator (Combat Variant) Republic Infiltrator (Disabler Variant) Republic Infiltrator (Ambusher Variant) Republic Infiltrator (Combat Variant) Imperial Gunship (Rail Sniper Variant) Imperial Gunship (Missile Skiff Variant) Imperial Gunship (Attack Skiff Variant) Republic Gunship (Rail Sniper Variant) Republic Gunship (Missile Skiff Variant) Republic Gunship (Attack Skiff Variant) Imperial Bomber (Minelayer Variant) Imperial Bomber (Fighter/Bomber Variant) Imperial Bomber (Drone Controller Variant) Republic Bomber (Minelayer Variant) Republic Bomber (Fighter/Bomber Variant) Republic Bomber (Drone Controller Variant) Concussion Missiles - This is a flexible lock-on missile intended for dogfighting, but with enough punch to damage objectives as well. It has a moderate lock-on time, a long maximum range, and high damage. Two concussion missiles will be enough to destroy all but the toughest ships. It has a fairly limited ammunition capacity. Proton Torpedoes - Proton Torpedoes are very long-range lock-on missiles that do extreme damage, ignore armor, and pierce shields, making them extremely useful against objectives. Their narrow lock-on cone and extremely long lock-on time makes them nearly useless against moving targets. Torpedo launchers have a fairly limited ammunition capacity. Ion Missiles - An Ion Missile is a lock on missile that does extreme shield damage and is very likely to damage ship systems, but does little damage against ship hulls. It has a moderate lock-on time, and a long maximum range. One missile will destroy all but the strongest shields, and likely disable a ship system as well. Here's some other misc UI text[14] Time for Work!
