Those are character perks. Those things (Exp boosts, higher chance of getting an augmented thing, companion affection boost) are only for the character you purchase them on. The Legacy perks are different. Things such as having the GTN on your ship and things. They make it all confusing like that for some odd reason.

We do bi-weekly raids if anyone's interested. At the moment we're just doing Hardmode EV, KP, and EC to get gear up, but once everyone reaches level 55 and is decently geared we will be starting on the new one.

I've generally had good times with healing in flashpoints. Only once can I think of someone complaining about me (And attempting to kick me) and that was during The Foundry. The fight with HK-47. I was playing my Mercenary too, which didn't help. Besides that one time, I have had good times in flashpoints. Once, someone even added me to their friends list because they thought I was a good healer.
