I agree - discouraged as well. Love this game and was excited to hear about this event. Once I read it all I thought it was more of a joke. I do not mind making one new character and completing some challenges for fun. This takes it to a new extreme when most of us already have at least 16 maxed out toons (or at least 8). Maybe I will decorate my stronghold for the event...

I still have not received my email for February either. I created account on 10/22/2008 and have been opted in ever since. Like many have stated, I checked spam, junk, etc. folders and still did not see it there (never had that happen on any other monthly or informational email from Bioware). Thanks for looking into this for us!

I vote for Legacy Class mission Exp buff (similar to 12x for class missions). Each class unlocks (4 classes each side) unclocks 2x Exp so if you have one of each class on Imp and Rep side, then 12x. Also, put in option to turn that off for those that do not want. I do not want to rehash all the side quests when I have done it on a ton of toons already. The 12x would still give me enough time to ensure I learn to play the class before doing flashpoints or other group content at lower levels.

Sentinel was my first toon (and still first in my heart, lol) and I leveled on what Concentration is now (think it was Focus back then). It was great for trash mobs, but the challenge is you should level on what you think you will use in endgame for flashpoint and ops. Focus was not Ops viable then (not sure if Concentration is now, probably viable but maybe not preferred) but could be now. I had to re-learn Watchmen (that was best then and what I still stick with though Combat may be better now in 3.0) at 50 which was hard to do once you get down a rotation. I even level alts as tanks or healers just to learn abilities even though it is slower (if that is how I plan to use them later on). With that said, do what it is fun. Focus was a ton of fun doing sweeps on trash mobs and helped move the leveling along faster. Probably does not help but wanted to add my two cents!

I bought Cartel Coin digital code today at my local GameStop. They even had it advertised in their PC section. It is not a physical card, but a generated code so maybe that is why some of the employees are confused. The associate looked it up and the computer and sold it to me that way. My son and I traded in some old games to help pay for them!

I'd like to echo that I do like the NEW way the system orders toons. It lets the characters I frequent the most stay at the top and also let's me know who I have not checked in on for awhile!

As title says. Ton of pink/purple crystals on low level characters now due to having the +41 stat at a lower level. I am fine with that, but have other crystals such as the CE yellow/black , Razer green/black, and even the Orange/Yellow bought crystal be level 10 +41 as well. Thanks.

The items bought or found in packs are bound from 1.5 days up to 3 (? not sure) based on subscription level. I expect Saturday mid-day you'll see a mess of them!

I also updated to Windows 8 on my desktop (left laptop alone just in case). I've had some performance issues but are hit or miss. Here are some things I have done but not sure if they will help: 1) Launch game from the actual program location - use launcher application) 2) Run game in Windows 7 compatability 3) If using NVidia card I could not run until updated to their latest drivers (September update) 4) Restart my computer - not sure why it takes this to work sometimes SWTOR did show up as Windows 8 compatible for me during the upgrade process. Today when I played game worked perfectly. I do sometimes get weird stuttering but normally fixes itself. Hope any of this may help.

I spend a lot of time on my alts on my ship crafting and also easier to use this as my spot to log (versus fleet). Seems like it could be an easy addition if others feel it would be worthwhile. I enjoy the rested experience and be nice to gain some without having to always run to fleet or cantina. At least a thought to add this third spot! Thanks!

Did they ever add the ability to upgrade Razer green/black crystal to level 50 crystal (like the CE crystal)? Thought there was going to be a way to trade in old one for new one. But perhaps I dreamed it....
