  1. /signed I strongly support making CXP legacy-wide, so it would work like reputation. I can't speak for anyone else, but legacy-wide CXP would entice me to play more, because I could play different alts for variety, and yet still feel as though I was making progress to advance my CXP rank. With the per-character CXP rank, I am worried that the task of advancing all my alts' CXP rank separately will feel too daunting, and I will simply give up and play less, which is the opposite of what the CXP system is trying to achieve.
  2. /signed The original reason for slot-locking armorings was to prevent farming the first boss of operations. That reason will go away with the new loot system, so the slot-locking should be removed also. Please resist software-development amnesia.
  3. There is also a synthweaver-crafted circlet called Lashaa Force Expert's Headgear that hides hoods. I use it on several of my toons and companions.
  4. Yes, Oricon looks different for me. Here are some of the differences that I noticed: The skybox is more orange in color, and now has animations of starships crashing straight down. At ground level, there is a orange fog that obscures things in the distance. There are lava "waterfalls" that spill from spindly plateaus into small lava pools. There are broken freeway overpasses high in the sky near the Dread Fortress. There is a large melted skull statue to the left of the steps leading up to the Dread Fortress. There are purple swirling tornadoes above various high peaks. Now it has been a while since I've been to Oricon, so I will readily admit that my memory might be hazy, and maybe some of these visuals were always there. But I definitely feel that there have been some changes.
  5. Thanks, Jerba, this was exactly the info I needed. My first problem was trying to begin the quest at level 10. I had to wait until level 15. My second problem was that the quest did not auto-complete until I had moved around a bit in the SH. I appreciate everyone's helpful advice on this thread. Thanks much!
  6. The Dark vs Light "Home Sweet Home" achievement is needed for Valiant level. Is it possible to get this achievement if you have already done the "Introduction to Strongholds" mission previously for your legacy? As far as I can tell, the Stronghold Commissioner NPC (Pargon Sisto or Ajolin) on the fleet won't give you the "Introduction to Strongholds" mission if you have previously done it on a different character in your legacy. Have other folks been able to get this achievement? If so, how? Thx.
  7. I just confirmed that this bug is fixed now. Both my partner and I (two separate accounts) were able to use the Basic Women's Underwear armor set account-unlock button to unlock the set. It costs 60 cc to unlock the set for your account.
  8. They still drop. I just got a "Light Datacron (Cunning)" yesterday while leveling a sorc on Quesh. I'm on Begeren Colony and I would be happy to sell it to someone who needs or wants it. Send a mail to my main Jorena. (She's on the Imp side.)
  9. It's a complaint, but not a legitimate one. If players want to cheat, they would simply use 3rd-party voice chat, to make it harder for the game developer to see the cheating. As for this game, it does not make sense to restrict cross-faction chat because it might be used for cheating in PvP, since we have same-faction warzones. I've been playing quite a bit of PvP this week in order to get Lt. Pierce, and during most of the day on my server (BC), it's only been imp vs imp warzones. In about 15 warzones, I only had one imp vs pub warzone. Back on topic, I strongly support the addition of cross-faction chat. /signed
  10. This is fixed now. The level 8 equipment vendor on the fleet now sells an Acolyte's Shield that is class-locked to Inquisitor and Consular. I haven't checked that vendor for a while, so I don't know which patch it was fixed in, but it's present in today's patch 4.1b.
  11. I would like to see HK-55 treated like HK-51, meaning that you need to unlock him as a companion the "story" way the first time, but afterwards he's available to all other characters in your legacy from level 1. I think that would be a fair compromise between story fidelity and being a worthwhile sub reward.
  12. Yes, I was wondering the same thing. OP is making contradictory statements. OP's primary complaint seems to be the PvP gear treadmill on multiple toons, but when it was pointed out that the combination of legacy gear + the Mastery stat change + the outfit designer = only need 3 sets of gear, then OP complained about "dumbing down". Of course, there is still a bit of gear grind for earchips, implants, and relics, but the Mastery stat change is a big improvement for the game, and OP should be applauding it, not complaining about it.
  13. I need to provide a counter-example. My partner and I are the only people in our vanity guild, and we could buy 3 guild ships if we wanted to. We earn credits by crafting for sale on GTN, and by running heroics. The guild ship price is an important credit sink in the game. If you want Bioware to reduce the guild ship price, then you need to recommend an alternative credit sink that would be as effective or more effective. It's really not that difficult to earn 50 million credits. You may want to refer to this guide posted on massivelyop.com that illustrates how to earn a million credits in an hour by running heroics. http://massivelyop.com/2016/01/12/hyperspace-beacon-how-to-make-a-million-credits-in-an-hour-of-swtor/
  14. I have been playing since summer 2012, and Yes, repeating the class stories is still my favorite part of the game. My post history shows this...
