  1. So this has been an issue for over a week and there is no patch. You expect us, the paying customers, to work around your coding mistakes. Really? Been around since the first round of public testing and this is not acceptable. If you guys do not care about the game anymore, then shut it down.
  2. When the conquest crafting was beaten with the nerf bat into oblivion by changing the required mats, introducing "assembly components", and minimizing the conquest points, I lost a substantial amount of my interest in playing. I enjoyed getting my Conquest Weekly on as many characters as possible by queueing up 15 war supplies and being done with it, maybe spreading around the PVP over a few characters. I would spend the majority of my time online maxing out my main, and as I got them up, switching to alts. Now, getting conquest on characters is a chore, and the motivation to continue playing, and subscribing, is waning. Here are a few friendly suggestions from someone that has been a loyal subscriber since Pre-launch... 1) Lower weekly objective back to 15k, 25k for big conquests. LIKE IT USED TO BE. 2) Make it reasonable to craft war supplies again. I do not understand the need for the extra steps of crafting assembly components. It limits the uses of mats for THOSE specific ACs. WASTE of mats and crafting time. 3) Make crafting War Supplies an "Infinite Repeatable" objective and worth 8-10% of the weekly per unit. 4) Make "Infinite repeatable" goals worth more Conquest points. 5) Make "Daily repeatable" objectives according to character, NOT LEGACY. 6) Make "Once per week" objectives per character, NOT LEGACY. I will probably get flamed for these suggestions, but what do I know? Only been around since the beginning and would like to see the game continue. As frowned upon as the Op Farming had become, at least I saw more people online doing it. I remember logging in after work and seeing as few as 15 people on fleet. With the farming happening, there were hundreds.

  4. Crafting mats requirements is TOO HIGH. Revert the schematics. Also, if I am crafting 50 WS, I better get my weekly 3x over. How about Crafting 20 gets you your 15k weekly. A one time per character objective. that way, people with alts can get their weekly done, like before. That is all the players with alts want. To be able to get their weekly on alts.
  5. Random planets... Notice anything about this week's selection? Working as intended? Really? Crafting schematics that we paid for on all of our toons... Going to change that back? Too many different levels and units of mats for 1 war supply. Ridiculous. Want to mitigate the point totals, affect the factor of individual to guild totals for the leader board, not the yield goal. That way people can get their rewards but the guilds can compete at different levels. My friends and I can talk for 5 minutes on discord and figure out a better system than the people that get PAID to do it. Many thanks. Glad my subscriptions are appreciated.
  6. EXACTLY! I AM ONE OF THOSE PLAYERS THAT METICULOUSLY GATHERED THE UPPER TIER MATS FOR CONQUEST. It was a HUGE part of the game for me. POOF. Gone. I may very well be as well.
  7. CHANGE THEM BACK!!! This change puts the small guilds at an even bigger disadvantage and ensures that crafting points will be even more pay for play than they were before. If you want to mitigate the effect of large guilds, then change the guild score to be a factor of the sum of individual scores. 75% for large guilds and 87% for medium sized guilds. That would have a more equitable effect on conquest than anything else. This is perhaps the most egregious and illogical change that was made with 5.8. Please reconcile this ASAP.
  8. Why queue? There is no longer any point. You have to run a FP 50 times for your weekly now. Illogical conquest changes. If they had half a brain, they would change it back immediately on a hot fix. But they will not.
  9. This game already existed. It is called Star Wars Galaxies. SOE ran it into the ground, the way EA is doing to SWTOR. Intentionally releasing broken updates and making drastic game changes that no one wanted that ruined the gameplay experience. For instance, the nonsense crafting changes for conquest, and the points awarded for objectives completely out of line and making conquest a grind instead of what we contribute to through just playing. At least now we know the end game.
  10. The more I discover about this update as I play, the less I want to continue playing. Is this the end game for the development cycle of this game? To make it less playable? Please let the rest of us know.
  11. Conquest crafting..... Really? ***! Do you even play the game? Or do you just make decisions to make people mad?
  12. Change the point system back for the individual conquest goal. This allows the individual player to be rewarded for playing their multiple characters, instead of having to choose 2-3 characters to focus on per week. I also did not have a problem with the consistency of conquest objectives from week to week. Why change that? Just have more "unique" objectives that are added in for the special aspects of each conquest theme. However, this is how you make it more fair for the guilds... The guild points will be calculated based upon a factor of number of accounts and members. Also, ALL planets will be available at each of the yield tiers. Guilds may only compete at the yield level they qualify to be under based on their member/account factor, or any tier above that level. How do you determine the factor for small, medium, or large guilds? Use the analytics on the server. From the active conquest guilds, analyze the member to account ratio and how the servers are broken up. Then see where each tier will shake out, in order to balance the numbers. Basically, less than 30 accounts and 150 characters (5 characters/account) could be a "small" guild. A medium guild could be 31-100 accounts and 151-500 members (5 characters/account). A large guild would be anything over that. That is just a starting suggestion. Use the analytics to see where the median character to account numbers are across the server. MAKE SURE EVERYONE ON THAT SERVER UNDERSTANDS WHERE THE DIFFERENT THRESHOLDS FOR GUILD SIZE ARE SET. If a guild goes over or under the thresholds through the course of the conquest week, they can go UP a tier, but NOT down. If characters start the week in the guild or join during the week, their roster value keeps them on for the duration of the conquest. Even if they leave the guild (or get kicked) during the week. That would help to avoid sandbagging and also make member recruitment/management an issue instead of just blindly recruiting numbers then booting people once a guild has their points on the board. In regards to how each individual member contributes points to each of the guilds based on the size of the guild, here is a starting suggestion. Small guilds will be at a 100% transfer rate from personal to guild points, medium guilds can be at 90% transfer rate from personal to guild points, and large can be at a 80% transfer rate from personal points to the guild points. Or whatever the analytics suggest. Those are just humble suggestions.
  13. The cinematics will not play for the story mode. Great job. In other news, there are new items on the cartel market. I bet that is working just fine.
  14. I can understand why cartel crystals cannot be moved via legacy gear if they are not unlocked for the account in collections. BUT WHY NOT IF THEY ARE UNLOCKED ON THE ACCOUNT? Really? I paid the CC to do it. Going to fix the preview window where the character model disappears while previewing gear or maybe give us more quality content anytime soon, or are you going to continue to obsess about CM crystals and flair? How about doing something for the people that give you money every month on a regular basis and have been loyal? But what do I know, only been a SUBSCRIBER since launch, not a F2P micro-transaction player.
