  1. This is not a bug. "Locked Medium Glowing Data Crystal Containers" are in effect a currency and can't be sold. Instead you just used the to buy "Medium Glowing Data Crystal Containers" from an Operations Gear Vendor at a 1 to 1 exchange rate. If you have x1 "Locked Medium Glowing Data Crystal Containers" you buy x1 "Medium Glowing Data Crystal Containers" with it. Basically you exchange it at an Operations Gear Vendor to get it unlocked... Once you have the (unlocked) "Medium Glowing Data Crystal Containers" just right click on it to get x25 Glowing Data Crystals. Bit of an awkward and time wasting way to do things but that's how to use them. Hope this clears things up for people.
  2. Donno if its a bug or if BW did the ole bait and switch on us... 2-3 weeks ago I managed to unlock "VALOR" and "INTREPIDITY" in collections using the items bought from the reputation vendor then unlocked account-wide with 400 CC a pop. Tried to do the same thing for the "FORTITUDE" and "GRIT" blasters and it doesn't even unlock... weird thing is the description on the little box icon in collection tool tip says "Once this item is collected you can transfer blah blah blah" but when you click the "show items" its says "additional copies of this item are only available from the Reputation vendor"... totally contradicting each other. I've raised a ticket, see how they explain this one
  3. Same companions are missing for me too. Was planning to do a group screenshot with em all but can't coz of the annoying bug
  4. They've maxed Frequency Capacitor and also using Blaster Overcharge.
  5. sign any lore friendly stuff I'll sign. I'd love to sign to get rid of pink and other stupid color saber crystals but it seems BW dont care about lore anymore
  6. I was being melodramatic about the "it being illegal" part. But in all honesty I do believe its unfair trading practice. I have no problem with F2P its the way they're doing it that annoys the hell outta me. Why cant they just put a fix price per dye colour and let us know exactly what we're paying for, instead of this random ****. For that does is piss people off. sure they'll make some money in the short term but people will disappear sooner rather than later for better alternatives if they keep alienating the community in underhanded ways. it feels like... They give with one hand and take away with the other, then kick you in the nuts before its done
  7. I wonder what the law would say about this... Making people pay for random packs is tantamount gambling. Its not just the soon to be dye packs, its 95% of the whole Cartel Market system. Just set a price for each item and be done with it!!! forcing people to spend 10s-100s of $$$/£££ chasing a digital item worth £1-£5 is unfair trading practice. This game is rated TEEN so there are lots of kids playing. Your getting kids hooked on gambling with their own or with their parents' money... makes no difference! Plus the law in most parts of the world sets legal gambling age to 18-21 how many kids do you think are buying these packs or asking their parents to, thereby breaking or coercing parents to unknowingly break the law by aiding & abetting a minor to gamble. This is now a Disney umbrella product for crying out loud... "Think of the children, why wont nobody think of the children" I'd expect this from EA, but Bioware... shame on you. Someone should take these clowns to court
  8. That point is kind of moot! If thats the case and its because of the rating, then why have the slave/dancer gear in the game at all and why make it work for humans and twi'leks? No the devs are just lazy... that, or they severely underestimate the importance of look-customization for a player in an mmorpg. Either way they've got their priorities scewed up, hence the on going issues with hoods and masks. They should know that its cosmetic issues Iike this that made a surprizingly large numbers of people unsubbed especially the casual mmo/starwars/kotor fans. After all who wants to play a character they're not happy with or play with a companion they don't like the look of? They talk about Immersion being important... They've not done much to show us they really believe in that... What creats the immersion has alot to do with how the game looks and how your character fits and feel within the universe. having a sith with no hood and mask doesnt feel like a sith and wearing a bikini over a catsuit is just down right an eye sore. looks like BioWare have forgotten or forsaken the basic roles of story telling which made they're other games great. They should know better...
  9. Its been an issue since launch. There was alot of clipping with the hood and mask combo so BW removed it altogether and are very slowly adding it back in. Unfortunately its been painfully slow. I've personally given up asking... I'd rather they add better looking gear which in itself could be the answer.
  10. Funny thing is... the belts do exist!!! just not obtainable by us if you look at the NPC Slave girls on Hutta they're wearing a kind of jewellery chain for the belt and jewellery bracers which looks quite good. only BW knows why they never seem to release belts/bracers with the intended sets. Maybe they're just sadists and enjoy reading about people complaining.
  11. Bump. I too want this but for the Battlemaster Force-Master Belt
  12. I support this. I for one Like the look of the battlemaster belt/sash for my sorcerer. now that the battlemaster sets have been phased out. it is no longer possible to get the look of the battlemaster belts and brasers. If I want to keep my little bird skull belt I cant upgrade to the War Hero or Elite War Hero belt because the old battlemaster belt and bracers aren not moddable. Plz add those back into the game as orange items not to mention all the other sets missing belts and bracers,..
  13. I dont see anything wrong with the "Revan's Robe" am I missing something? The issue with Red chest pieces appearing as brown's been there since launch!!! Try the "Elder Exemplar Robe" on and you'll see what I mean. It looks fine in the preview window and character sheet but on your actual character the chest red comes out brown but the rest of the body gear is bright red...go figure:confused:
  14. Bump, Bump, Bump Definity, I was wondering the same thing... Seems a very odd choice from BW to limit the mask to just one colour scheme. With such a popularly demanded item, a fair amount of people are surely going want to aquire the mask for themselve one way or the other if they havent already. So we're going to have a situation where alot of people are going to be running around with the exact same head with different colour bodies which just makes it an eye sore... I understand from a visual stand point if all the different parts of the Nihilus Mask were to be unifiable It may look a little silly but at least have the head-cloth (and maybe the mask markings) unifiable. You can leave the actual face mask part the fixed colour part. This way I think most people would be happy and look less of a clown if their chest is anything other than black. And If people want the colour the way it is then they can just not unify the head. why limit the choice for just this item when all the other headgear are unifiable is puzzling Seems like a simply tweek to me... I swear BW or EA just makes these decisions to piss people off for their own amusement dont they know how seriously people value customizability in an RPG let alone a starwars MMORPG.
  15. I dont see anything wrong with under cutting, as you say yourself it works better for the buyer since that drives the prices down. the "cheeze" sellers will come and go. Sellers will now have to set a reasonable price for their listings or another player will undercut them. I personally will under cut other sellers, but there is a line I wouldnt go below because that willl eat into my profit margins and would defeat the point of me crafting and selling.. e.g. I see people sell XXX item for 50k. I can sell said XXX item for 40k and still make a good profit. the people who set their price at 50k will have to bring it down to my level in order to get their items sold. simple really. If they complain about not being able to make a profit at the same price I'm selling mine and I'm getting a profit then they're not doing it right. They should consider looking at their costs and see how others are doing it instead of complaining other people are undercutting them. I gather mostly my own materials and by the ones I can't do myself (this is more time consuming) but it keeps my costs low. If people buy in all their materials then their costs are gonna be alot higher than mine so they cant set the price as low as I can. I see crafting materials price set at x10 or x20 the price the items would be if you were to gather them youself and people are buying (I assume to craft with) as those prices havent dropped. If more people started to gather some of those items for themselves then the material sellers will not beable to demand those ridiculous prices Its all about supply and demand. you'll see GTN prices drop until it hits a natural point. just the way all markets work. only reason profit was so good and prices high was because not as many sellers were around. and people got used to being able prices fix. that simply isnt gonna be the case for much longers as more crafter/sellers come through. The only exception to those rules are the luck people who have extremely-rare or now unobtainable schematics like the WH purple crystal or the supreme inquis robe. They have the monopoly coz on one else can make them so they freely price fix.
