  5. We have been asking solid for RvR/open PvP since the early days of swtor and till now nothing as really moved (except maybe killing ilum). So what is the roadmap on fixing the game engine so that RvR is possible with at least 15 FPS and implementing RvR/open PvP event/rewards/daylies and so on. Guild Wars 2 is coming soon and i just want to know if there's something to wait for (i love this game but i miss RvR too much).
  6. Best option is to unsub We are constantly reporting Bioware tanking issues/bugs, asking questions in the Q/A thread and we never got any feedback/bug fix. They just don't care about tanks in PvP, they ignore any feedback we provide, it's sad but it's how they behave with the tank PvP community.
  7. Nothing new. Guard is broken and as always been broken and BW just ignores all the reports we make. Anyway if you wish to help please fill a IG report with all the data you have and propose them to provide the log if they need it. What we know: BW claims that all defensive stats applies on guard transferred damage including shield. In many occasions we tested this is actually wrong and that no mitigation is applied. On top of this debuff are also transmitted.   8. This is not the question i asked so please do not make the thread drift intentionally. To make it more clear my question is : What is the reason behind this expertise/stats imbalance ? Is it intended and why or is it one more thing that need to be fixed ?
  9. I wonder why generator/shield and focus have less expertise (-38 expertise) than primary weapons creating thus advanced class expertise imbalance. Any valid reason to give a +38 expertise advantage to some advanced class ? Isn't this something to fix for the sake of class balance ?

  11. Je confirme également, j'ai ce bug quasi quotidiennement depuis 3 semaines (jamais eu avant). Tres énervant surtout en coté mais bon vu la date du premier report je pense qu'il ne faut pas compter sur un bug fix prochainement
  12. BUMP, Bioware answer please, it is becoming frustrating not being "true" tanks in PvP and not seeing anything coming.
  13. Because there's a new bug which randomly prevents you from using guard on anyone till the end of the BG (this one is driving me crazy). More seriously as i tank i almost always guard and follow healers except when the healer is not good, in that case i guard the high dps players. In some cases i will let the healers die to guard the big dps if both are low HP and opponents are almost dead, faster kill means tag in that case, i'm objective focused so i will guard the person that will help the most to get the objective healer or not.
  14. From a PVP POV 1. How do you think your Marauder spec is perceived by other classes? It is perceived as one of the best DPS class which have the survivability of a full geared Tank when the defensive CD are up. 2. How do you perceive your own spec? I perceive it as an unbalanced and overpowered class due to the defensive cooldowns. Undying rage need to be fixed and healing received reduced by 100% while active, this is obvious for many of us. So i would say dps level is fine but survivability need to be reduced a bit for the sake of class balance.
  15. From a PVP only perspective 1. How do you think your Mercenary spec is perceived by other classes? It is perceived as a free kill and useless class except for the healing tree. 2. How do you perceive your own spec? Arsenal tree doesn't put more damage on the table than a sniper for instance (which is also ranged) without having the tools to keep the target at range, all is said this tree is not viable in PvP as a sniper is better on all aspects. The pyrotech tree is better but again why bother since powertech pyrotech is better almost everywhere. The reason why this tree is broken as mercenary is because you need powershot or unload to proc rail shot which have both casting time and then remove all the mobility that this tree have in powertech advanced class. So if we compare with powertech we get less damage and less mobility, get it ? The bodyguard tree is the only viable PVP tree but is also the healing tree which produce the less healing output so ultimately you feel as you would do a better job as sorcerer or operative. The 1.2 nerf was bad by conception because this class is meant for strong mono-target heal but due to the 1.2 nerf you can't burst so ultimately our mono-target healing capability is not as strong as it should be. Worst thing was to nerf supercharged gas which is the funniest aspect of the tree, this class should be about giving a significant advantage with supercharged gaz and putting effort maintaining it and managing it, well it isn't also due to the heat system. Then finally what is the most absurd in this class is the the green rapid shot heals which tells everyone that you are heal and where you are, a good heal must be discrete which is impossible if you spam rapid shot => Fail. Well after trying all the tree thoroughly i understood the lesson and rerolled.
