  1. Your signature quote is quite ironic, eh?
  2. I love hutt-ball, as do a lot of other players. Good work thinking about just yourself though. Sure, lets get rid of an entire warzone just because someone sucks at it!!!
  3. There is NO healer on this Earth, in this Realm, Galaxy or UNIVERSE that can keep my sorc up for more than 15 seconds. Not one. No way. I need a minimum of two healers on me, healing constantly to keep me up. My little bubble is gone in about two hits. Sometimes... with certain bloody players, with -one- hit. It is ridiculous how much I die in warzones. In fact, if there were medals for deaths, my valor rank would match Yoda's. I am fully BM geared. Makes zero difference. I am sticking it out. I won't re-roll, because I have an attatchment to my first character. Been through a lot together! I just get absolutely SICK of people saying; "It's a UTILITY class." as an excuse for how weak they are. YES, they are handy. But they are not essential. Just ask the rest of the community on who they prefer to have on their team. - KB
  4. I agree mate. I think on my server (Nightmare Lands) whiners are pretty rare. Now, that's not to say I havent offered advice to new players every now and again, and had people tell me where to stick it. I was half-way through a plant on Void Star when someone ran up behind me and began planting as well. After making a polite comment; "Please protect the planter, not plant yourself." I was swiftly abused as a "L33t" pvper and given a pandemic amount of abuse from two of my team. That abuse then lasted the entire match. I am hardly a 'pro' but I try and give out advice where I can. So it goes both ways. With many people already on the defensive because of the elitist idiots in pvp, it's ruined those who are actually just looking to help people out with tactics and tricks to secure a win. I still enjoy low-level pvp on my alts, and don't let it put me off. Already high valor on my main, so it's not a worry for me anymore. I tend to pvp my main (50) purely for the fight, and not the importance of valor farming.
  5. Same problem. There is less motivation for a player to stay, and while rewarding for losses helps the mid-range - lower tier players get involved into PvP, it then eliminates any particular reason to win at all, or at least minimal. Why not consider an extra commendation type for winners, a 'Victory' medal, rather than just your commendations. You get one victory medal per win, and have some cool reward for everyone to work for as well as the normal gear-building. It would also prevent mass farming of medals, and keep the stronger players on the actual Warzone objectives. Worth fighting for? So what about the reward possibilities for these 'Victory' commendations? A mount? A pet? Your own personal slave girl entourage? A VIP suite just for you and your friends on the imperial fleet? A phased 'holiday' award story that takes you off-planet for a mini-quest (With assassinations abound!) The opportunities for gaining these 'victory' medals, per win, can be capped pretty high, so are worth the timeline in which to achieve them. Maybe an emote. Or a new broad-cast once a year with your own guild team's name mentioned??? HOW EPIC a prize would that be??? A title - Worlds Champion, for my accolades in Hutt-ball would be just like 1966 all over again! Just a thought...
  6. I love the fact that after 1.2, we can come back to this thread and truly laugh about how much time has changed things... ...lets conclude this thread, shall we? Is everyone happy now?
  7. RWAR! Well-said that man! The negativity sprawled all out in the forums will put off new players. But anyways, this is not a debate thread. This is just for people to be happy about the game and to tell others why! I also like the new news terminal in the Imperial Fleet. Ha! The immersion continues, and will only ever get even stronger!
  8. A SwTor employee? Nope. Server : Nightmare Lands Player: Kilaar Novak
  9. Dude, totally with you on that. Nothing more frustrating than someone leaving because it doesn't immediately go there way in the first minute of the game. Its VERY annoying. However you are right on point. What motivation do they have to stay, or the others who join, when the end-of-match rewards are so very low. This indeed was one of the BEST pvp I have ever played in an mmo. Just need more warzones and arenas, and I will be happy. But please, sort out punishing people for leaving matches early, or for gods sake give them just a bit more incentive to stick around!
  10. 31 years old, actually. Does it make it any less immature? I play an online Star Wars video game for God's sake. I am just generally a positive person who enjoys playing the game and was showing my zest. Too much for you?
  11. And did anyone else smile when they first got 'Sprint' and it looked like the Kung-Fu sprint from Jade Empire? ;-) I loved that!
  12. IK+ 2!!! International Karate + 2!!! The music was awesome.
  13. I think I just found the most mature thread in this community. IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU BLASTED KIDS! Leave the mmo's to the adults!
  14. KIDS DON'T KNOW. They do not know the PAIN of having to load your game from a sodding cassette tape, which took 45 MINUTES to load what wouldn't be considered good memory for a sodding lightswitch AND gave you a bloody epilepsy inducing loading screen to boot... ...only to have your Mom shout up and say, "BEDTIME!" by the time its done loading, only to crash on the second level of Robocop!!! RAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
