  1. Everything so normalized across the board now with companions all being the same, alliance companions REALLY identical, lvl sync ect. There is no reason not to allow cross training of like items.
  2. Please remove sync or at least make it optional. Ive been playing this game since release, I have all the base characters on both factions and a couple extras. Ive done all the old content I care to. Lvl'ing makes my character feel more powerful and more convenient. It's like a fluff reward for grinding it out. If I want to do explore or do a task AGAIN, heroic AGAIN, or go get that datacron on this other alt AGAIN, dread seed AGAIN, but I dont want to spend an extra hour in that area. I can just mount up and jet over to where I need to be. Work, explore, jumping obsticles, whatever and move on. Not anymore, now I get constantly dismounted if I dont notice that spawn point in time. It really defeats the advantages of lvl'ing up and somewhat for stealth classes too. The whole mechanic has changed. I know changes happened. But every MMO Ive played in the last 15 years was not improved by a mechanic change after you learned and determined to play the game (x) way. Please remove it or at least make it optional. For all the jerks that think it's great, let em keep it. A toggle option like [allow access to same class quest] so the rest of us can turn it off when we are just going to grab that datacron one more time and I dont feel like dealing with the planets random mobs that I already killed countless times in the past.
  3. I would like to engage in group type PvE gameplay with other troopers. End game is the eventual goal, lvl'ing with other troops, or doing sync'd world stuff in the mean time. RP is fine, but Ive done a lot of IC RP only stuff in the past. Often these events take a very long time and once it's over everyone goes their separate ways. I am more interested in a guild that plays together, chat in /g and becomes friends. IG Iron-clad
  4. Aside from the outright jerks. Even the quiet ones- rarely is anyone working together towards winning the matches. They wanna win. But they are usually scattered out over to many nodes, or running around doing their own things. They get really motivated by high DPS scores and hunting player kills. That does NOTHING to help you gain comms (past 8 medals). Even MVP votes are just 1 comm each. You cap out comms at 8 medals (x5 ea). You can double that by WINNING and cutting your number of matches in half and greatly reducing your medpac / adrenal usage (which costs you more comms). Yeah, we win sometimes. On the rare a occasion I'll get into a good group and have a phenominal night gaining more comms in one night than I can get all week. But that has been maybe 2 sessions out of my entire 10-60 grind. There are some level headed players on EH Imp. But it's rare for them to get matched in unranked GF. In fact, if I can find a couple other level headed players in a group to also say things or reinforce comments like "forget snow, let em have it, come help at grass". That can help change the feel of the whole match.
  5. Yep tried it after matches for the names I can remember. Nothing constructive. Also asked for advice during matches (I know people cant give long talks in battle, but I put it out there). Also asked for advice in fleet /PvP channel between matches. L2P blah blah. You guys may have decent server / factions. EH Imp is pretty troll / jerk these days for PvP unranked PuGs.
  6. I have lvl'd from 10-60 in PvP Powertech Tank. I suck. I try to play to win the goal, protect or take turrets, guard / taunt when I am not ZOMGsmashing attacks and CDs to survive. I try not to get involved in petty side fights but stay on goal as much as possible. Chase the Huttball or try to defend the scoring zone. Constant facerolls. Constantly getting smashed. Almost always losing matches. This makes for a very slow gear grind. Rarely does anyone (EbonHawk Imp) work together. Everyone is scattered, no one listens to calls for help (rarely). From 10-60 NOT once has anyone offered to help teach anyone else what we should be doing or offered any useful advice except "You suck" or "You are a terrible tank and an even worse DPS". All because I was in a frantic fight for Middle Node and didn't have time to switch my guard to him. "L2P or don't queue". I've tried watching YouTube videos to see what others are doing. Most of the video hosts appear to be having the easiest matches of a lifetime. Lucky breaks, enemy players running right past them to something else. It looks a lot different than the brutal zergs I am always caught in. From 10-60 mostly all Ive learned is, what the goals of the various arenas are, and that if you loose the match you get about 55 comms if you got 8 medals. No medals = no comms at all. Wasted time, wasted medpacs, and further demotivated. My first step into 60 unranked was no better. I want to learn. I may not be great but I can learn to be "ok". I've given it more than a fair try lvl'ing 10-60. I want to win sometimes and get my gear. What is wrong with everyone?
  7. I don't have any real DPS. I'm supposed to be a ranged tank. THT would give this class some fun dynamic.
  8. I couldn't agree more. I totally did not see this coming and spent 5 min in my first FP looking through my abilities panel to put it back. Thought I had lost it through some glitch or some braindead hotkey rearranging I had done. One of the biggest disappointments of my scoundrel is that there is almost no reason to even have a blaster in my hand. Now I am feeling that way about PT. My only reason to see it in use is my free low DPS rapid shot. I also get a split second heat blast that fires from the hip but it's close range only and it happens so fast you aren't even sure if you used it if it didn't have CD on your icon. I'm just running around holding up a pistol so everyone can see "I have a gun" and that's about it. There is a LOT of area of adjustment that could have been made between the damage it did vs completely removing it knee jerk.
  9. Mmm nvrmnd. Cant delete
  10. There are probably too many small Mando guilds on EH. If we could come together under one banner we'd be much stronger. Until that day arrives consider the Clans of Mand'alor. We are always looking for brothers and sisters to support Mandalore and a Mandalorian community for each other. http://clansofmandalor.enjin.com/home Su'cuy!
  11. My playtime has also been a bit sporatic. I've had no issues with finding a place and being made to feel very welcome. I'm not here to encourage you to join them. As a part of the Clans of Mand'alor I am asking you to consider US! We are always looking for brothers and sisters to join our cause to live together as a Mandalorian community in support of Mandalore and support for each other. The guild is set up as different clans. Each clan is run by it's own leader like a very small guild within the guild. Each clan is mostly just to help you find a fit for your playstle preference. Maybe you like to PvP, or Raid, or RP. But if you do choose a clan, you can play right alongside other guildmates in other clans because we are all one Mandalorian family. The clans also kind of give you a home team to root for. Su'cuy!
  12. IC play past the storyline. Dress as a trooper with blasters, or any space scum you prefer.
  13. Been here since release. My first draw to scoundrels was their scattergun. I was very disappointed to find that even though I had a blaster I had no real range abilities. I was further disappointed that I really had very little use of my blaster at all. Mostly just running around holding it in the air so everyone can see I have a "gun". <wack> It's main purpose is to pimp smack people with and doing so does more damage than actually shooting it to boot. I love shotgun abilities. Scoundrels have begged for more, and mostly gone unheard. Some of us would love see our scattergun on our back. As far as I care we can get rid of the blaster as a main hand. Move the shotgun to the other shoulder and use it for nearly all of our blaster and melee attacks. All of the visuals and animations are already in the game for stock strikes (there are 2), and the rifle "at the ready" pose. I'm already in the 4-10 m range. Let slingers, Ruffian scoundrels and hunters have the pistols. Let my occasional (no cost) shot pull my pistol from my offhand (like the scattergun does now) and be put back away since that is my main ranged skill AND is so weak in damage. Would look nice making a move around the battle scene with my shotgun in my hand or on my back, strafe to move and blast off an offhand pistol volley (or quick shot) while moving into my next position. The new shotgun "bludgeon" animation was supposed to be an alternate animation but on my screen it still looks like blaster whip.
  14. This is an excellent point. Cant an Agent put on Adaptive Armor and RP a Mando? He would not have acess to BH cutscenes on his PC screen for class quests. But could he otherwise RP a Mando? Could a Warrior grab a vibrosword and do this also? What about a Smuggler? Why couldn't a smuggler RP any interest he wanted?
