  1. These are the reasons I have discontinued my subscription - I always had the feeling that I was merely a clone of all the other gunslingers out there. The armor is pretty much 3 or 4 appearances, with a few color details, but for the most part, we all look alike, depending on what we're doing (PVE or PVP,) We can't be individuals in our clothing styles, since it appears that we're supposed to wear the same exact thing day after day. I will also admit to simply hating the "gunslinger" motif - it was cool when there weren't so many running around. And now that we all have the cute pet, we're looking more and more alike than ever. So there's that. And then there's the ships - as a smuggler, I have pretty much the ugliest ship in the game. At least, I'd have liked to decide if I was such a slob or if I was actually capable of improving things onboard. We have no ability to make our ship unique, either through skins or with actually furnishings. With all the cut-away scenes and loading screens, I was never really able to feel immersed in the environment. Game play, as a result, never really grabbed me. Anyway, I just feel sad that what I'd thought was a wonderful way to portray the Star Wars saga, ended up looking and feeling more like a solo-player PC game.
  2. I haven't been willing to use my legacy name since I typed in one thing, only to see something slightly different as a result. It does make a difference, it does affect player satisfaction. For something as punishing as requiring every character you create on a given server to carry this legacy name, it simply does not make any sense at all, to not allow for name change corrections. /signed
  3. My experience has been largely positive, as long as I don't look at the little things that give me the /sigh 's. The one frustration that is shared by my boyfriend, though, is that we generally would level past the level of the quests way before we were done with a particular planet, and would feel compelled to leave as our class quests would let us. The result now is that we're both 50 and wanting to return to finish all the tasks that we'd agreed to complete - and with only 25 allowed at a time, it's all about juggling now. /sigh
  4. ^ All of the above, and thank you so much for this post. I have never understood why some people on these game forums, (and they are generally the same, regardless of the game), insist upon repeatedly venting their frustration, instead of simply uninstalling the game, and moving on to something else.
