  1. Whiel i enjoy the overall direction of the expansion, you really need to bring all ops and fp to lvl 75 asap, otherwise the gearing system is rather problematic, since you will run into the lvl 70 stat caps pretty fast. Also, old fps are in dire need for an overhaul. The diffculty gap between fps like Hammer Station and newer FPs is vastly bigger then between Veteran and Master, which makes no sense. Also with respect to clearing times, you are getting essentaily punished now for doing difficult content. Becuase of this if you do a random master FP, people will often just outright leave after seeing that they have drawn a "hard" FP.
  2. How exactly do you think that Theron, for example, would be willingly working full time to destroy the Republic and the Jedi Order, personal loyalty or not? And even if he does, this should be the biggest moral crisis in his life. Will he remain loyal to the commander or stick to his previous lifelong values and essentially his own family? The fact that such things are hardly brought up at all (except in a passing note) is a big missed opportunity imo.
  3. As a subsciber I was level 75 before the end of the story, ie. after 4 hours or so. Getting to max itemlevel will take you a few afternoons of doing FPs. Getting one of your characters to ilevel 306 means essentally ALL your character are ilevel 306 due to legacy gear. Which grind exactly are you talking about? Unless you want to complete a specific set which cant be bought this is overall the least grind I have ever seen in any MMORPG endgame.
  4. I completely agree. Having level sync for "filler content" like low level planetary dailies is one thing and given the limited resources available for this game understandable. But such a system should have no place for actual endgame content like Mastermode Fps and even Ops. Bumping all MM Fps / ops to level 75 can't be that much of an effort. In effect, this expansion made PVE content worse than it was before, which is an unforced error.
  5. Yeah, while I agree that getting the story in general back to Empire vs. Republic makes sense in principle, the way its done is bound to induce some narrative whiplash. I mean, we had Satele Shan and Darth Marr themselves essentially holding hands during KOTET and declaring that both Jedi and Sith had it all wrong. And now we are basically supposed to act like none of this had happened. And despite Admiral Aygo everybody is esssentially fine with any of our decisions? I hope they get bolder with narrative consequences in the future. The Alliance simply shouldn't survive longterm if you only play for one team.
  6. As the title, synching content like all old Master Mode FP to level 70 when Max level is now 75 is bad. The game gives us a new level cap and this whole system of deep horizontal gear progression and then for most "endgame" content they downgrade our level to 70 anyway. And to compensate for any stat caps at lvl 70 they give us an opaque "Veterans Buff" in FPs. Who thought this is a good idea? Or is it just that it probably was easier than adjust the old content to lvl 75? Is this going to be fixed or is this here to stay? Also, while you are at it, maybe adjust the difficulty gap between the individual flashpoints. There is a reason everyone does Hammer Station now, as its simply way to easy compared to some other MM Fps.
  7. Yeah this should be a no-brainer. Making sometimes quite rare set items the same color as all endgame trah drop (gold) is a really bad choice. In particular since you get drowned in all these similar gold drops once yoou hit ilevel 300.
  8. I honestly thought that being downgraded to lvl 70 was a bug At least MASTER mode should be max level and i find it baffling that they done this on purpose.
  9. Some people claim using a vpn fixes it? Dont ask me how...
  10. Same here. Every 1-3 minutes I get a crazy lag spike. My ISP is fine. Didnt have the problem before 6.0. (Server Dath Malgus)
  11. I don't want to burst your bubble, but old school mmorgs were much more restrictive. "Old school" gearing usually meant no commendations but fixed drop list by boss, so you needed to grind specific content over and over until you got "your" drop. There were also no things like "bolster", i.e. you needed gear grind for all content. Only afterwards was gearing further and further trivialized. Now the pendulum swings back, which I personally don't mind.
  12. Thanks so much for the response. While I still think it is kinda embarassing that bolster is still not properly working after all this time, I truely appreciate that you are giving honest feedback.
  13. As somebody else aready said - you should never consider a career in PR/Marketing. You can (righty) point out that those hits are not average all you want. The fact remains that you posted a damage spike no other class in the game can even closely match. So the lesson is this: If you really want to convince people that a spec is not OP you should at the very least resist the temptation to show off how awesome you are with that spec at the same time.
  14. Indeed, "not usual" at all, since heal ticks do never break cc`s.
  15. Well, I played since before the Pandas, but given I had played wow since beta (with some breaks), I`ll anwer nontheless. Yes, some addons are required to have, both for successful PVE and PVP at endgame. But since they are essentially free, you can simply get all of these. EDIT: Same goes for macros. You should just go to any big WoW site like mmochampion, I am sure you still will find plenty of class guides whic include macros and tips for useful addons there. Content is of course plenty in WoW, but be warned: If you come from SWTOR, levelling will be painful. No real overarching storyline, no cutscenes, no voiced dialogue, no companions. No wonder Blizzard are selling a boost to max lvl for 60 $ in their itemshop. Otherwise: If you play a tank, you can level quite well by doing random dungeons via groupfinder.
