  1. There is an increased reward as you get 6 pieces of loot in 16 man rather than the 2 you get in 8 man. You would expect it to double to 4 but the 6 makes for the added value to 16 man. More importantly the 16man is harder so you get the satisfaction of clearing it
  2. I know exactly what the Op is referring to and it's not pulling packs of normal mobs. His problem is in class missions when you reach the person you need to talk to and the conversation ends with "attack" or some sort you load out of the conversation with a small swarm of mobs coming at you and if you don't react quickly you can die. OP - You just need to anticipate the fight starting as you have the conversation so you know what abilities to use. i expect you are panicking as you come our of the conversation and when you start to heal find yourself on the backfoot and unable to regain control. If you have a bunch a melee stright on you use your knock back to get some breathing room and use concussion charge on the silver. Then you can pop your shield and mortar closeby to knockk the melee over and mop up from there. If it's spaced out range again concuss the silver/gold and then nuke down your enemies 1 at a time. Watch Elara's health and if she is tanking one due to using her blaster decide if you need to attack that mob or let her tank him for a bit while you whittle down the others. The main thing is not to panic and you I'm sure you will be fine.

  4. As well as your dailies and hardmodes don't forget to go back and collect any End & Aim datacrons you missed while levelling. You also have the + 10 to all stats one on the fleet if you can find a group to do it with you. Hopefully some other guildies that also need it PvP for Champions gear when not in hardmodes or doing your dailies might also help you get some champion gear to fill out slots until you can replace it with Columi and Rakata. Lot's to be doing!!
  5. I'm going to disappoint you by saying it is working as intended and it's hard Mode and Nightmare where you can start to assign loot. On the plus side you get 6 loot drops for 16 man instead of 2 for 8 man so doing those bigger groups will help you gearing up your freshly levelled players.
  6. this is an intended mechanic on normal mode operations. BW's reasoning is that normal mode is pitched at a level of being PUGable and they wanted to make sure that whoever runds the PUG does not steal all the loot for their friends. Hardmode and Nightmare are pitched at needing a proper organised group using voicecoms etc so the loot is then assignable as you would expect. Not sure if I agree with it but I can see the reasoning.
  7. Just to add my thoughts which are similar but also from perspective of being highly geared. 5/5 Rakata and HM 16man done on EV and HP with some 16 NM done and hopefully completed this week. With the 4 piece set bonus HIB becomes free and the extra crit for grav round take it to well over around 55% when raid buffed. For most bosses i do, GR GR GR Reserve Cell + FA Demo GR GR HIB then use Demo when off CD, HIB when on 5 charges and full auto when off CD. GR fills any other times with a little bit of ahmmer shot but to be honest you don't need to use much hammer. I ignore the Hammer shot for vulnerable boss phases and come back up with Power cell. Relics and adrenals to be used once the first 3 GR are up and then off CD unless I hold off to use in a boss vulnerable type phase.

  10. Make sure you have turned on Dorne's new abilities since levelling up by expanding her action bar. Grav Round x3. Full auto whenever you can. Demo round when your grav round stacks are up and high impact bolt when charges are up. Liberal hammer shots in between to keep ammo over 50% This is of course assuming a gunnery build! I also find I needed to kite some of the melee gold bosses. Run in circles firing instant casts and use cryo every now and ahgain to get a full auto or grav round in. When running in circles Dorne should be able to keep up with the damage if you use shield and adrenalin rush etc

We found we could loot by passing who the op leader was to the person needing to loot their assigned item so had to pass it around a few times but it worked. re: the actual encounter. If it was on hardmode you are doing it wrong. If it's normal I have no idea
  13. I have to admit I also outlevelled as I was enjoying the PvP and Space missions and ended up hitting 50 halfway through Voss which i have now completed and with Correlia yet to be touched. But that's fine for me as my holiday period is over so I'm back to playing evening/weekends only and once I have my dailies done will leave me a bit of time to do a few quests for story/credits each day if my guild has no flashpoint/operation groups running that evening. When I make an alt i will going at a much slower pace as they will only get levelling time when main character tasks are done and I will pick up on any content I space barred through the first time Looking forward to it and I have loads to occupy my time!

Demo round does make a big difference as it's an extra hard hitting instant especially if you can load up for grav rounds first to get a bigger bang Cycle through the enemies and find a predamaged one so you can focus your fire with your teams and you will find them going down very quickly if ther is no pocket healer. I have no problem getting my fair share of kills during PvP. Not always top on damage but I'm very objective focused and will hang around defending instead of rushing straight to the next fight often.
