  1. Six years later... still playing, still hoping they'll make them...
  2. I'm having the same issue on my female BH. Hairstyle 3 Hairstyle 58
  3. As the subject says, I'd like the ability to bundle complete Cartel Market Armor Sets that are still 'Binds on Equip' status for ease of sale on the GTN and mailing. Frankly, selling a lot of these sets piece by piece is annoying for me, as a person who just likes to put up sales and go. If I have a complete set, I'd much rather just sell it in one package than put all four to seven parts up individually. I also sometimes buy outfits I may use later or on an alt, so I'll ship them all to a mule character for safe keeping. It'd be a lot easier to ship one boxed item than seven individual ones. Wasn't sure if I should put this in Cartel Market Suggestions or here but, since it'd be a function you'd do after you buy from the market I thought it made more sense to post it here.
  4. I made this thread almost four years ago, still hoping they'll do it. There have been some pants options with cut outs, Darth Andeddu's shorts, and the colorable Basic Women's Underwear (though these are obscenely rare and expensive) that have come out in that time, but the Imperial Dancer's Bottoms are still my favorite style. C'mon, BW, make a faction-neutral version already!
  5. As someone who never does FPs, Ops, or PvP, I have to grudgingly admit that it's true, unlocking Darth Hexid was not at all a grind. I did three Veteran Group Finder FPs in a row on two servers and had virtually no difficulties. I even died a couple of times to rookie mistakes like standing too close to the edge of a platform, and things went fine regardless. Nobody complained, everybody made sure I was up on my feet as quickly as possible, stuff got done. I don't like that I was made to do group content when I don't really care for it to unlock her, and I probably won't do it again, but it's not the torturous chore that I thought it might be. So long as you know your class and you're not lazy you can breeze through with a half way competent group.
  6. Out of 22 characters on Satele Shan, two renames. One of them was level 55, which was a bit of a surprise as a subscriber. Out of 26 characters on Star Forge, four renames. Another one of my 55s needed to be renamed. Had that name since early beta, so that sucked. The rest weren't a big loss. Just gave them surnames.
  7. This thread is two and a half years old. Not sure why you're raising it from the dead.
  8. I think anyone who played through the Trooper storyline got a good glimpse into how power crazy she was becoming. On Taris she used that ambition to good effect. By the time she became head Pub honcho, though, she was already showing signs of moral ambiguity and power madness. She was firmly convinced she knew what was best for the Republic and everyone else was just a tool to be used for her purposes. Her attitude towards the Trooper at the end of Chapter 3 shows that pretty plainly. "You did a good job but step aside and let Mommy make the decisions of what's best for everyone now." I wasn't surprised at all when the story said she was manipulating from behind the scenes after her term ended. It wasn't a big leap to find her grasping at the position of Commander of the Alliance later, nor were her methods of trying to get it or her lack of remorse over it. After all, she was Supreme Chancellor and what were you? Some major in the army SHE funded? Some grubby bounty hunter? A former slave turned Sith Council Member? Clearly she was better suited to command an effort to free the galaxy from tyranny.
  9. The way they do influence these days, you get points even if your Companion dislikes what you choose. So, even if she disapproves of what you say, she's still being affected by you. Besides, there's always gifts to raise your standing with her. What I'm saying is, don't discount a romance with Vette. She's pretty awesome. Even if you choose to go with Lana later, you can still see Vette's romance through for a while.
  10. I haven't actually stopped playing the game but... new Class Stories. Differentiate again. The Outlander bit is done, not every type of character is a hero / leader of thousands. I find it kind of appalling that the entire galaxy knows who my Imperial Agent is and what he's done and think he's inspirational. Same with my Smuggler. Just doesn't fit who they are. I love that they're dedicated to giving us more story and KotFE-ET was interesting. I'd just like things to be less generic again.
  11. Almost snorted my iced tea through my nose when I read this. Well played, sir.
  12. I'd like to give a big thanks to LordArtemis and other people who mentioned fighting Vaylin at melee range as close to the base of the stairs as possible. Using this strategy, running out of range of most of her Overload type attacks, and making use of every healing bubble that passed by I was able to beat Vaylin's spirit on only the second try using a Gunnery Trooper with Armormech blues and a Command Crate autocannon. Worked like a charm and I had most of my HPs left. First time I tried I kept my distance, not realizing she was reflecting damage until it was too late. Thanks for all the good advice, guys.
  13. Sadly, this is true. Even if in your head-canon your character is 40 something and you gave them wrinklyface and grey hair, in the story they start out as a young, gifted padawan, sergeant, bounty hunter, initiate, etc... Pretty much the only case where the age range of the character isn't specifically mentioned as "young" is the Smuggler, if I remember correctly. A lot of people have a problem with the romance of Nadia and Ashara because it's seen as taking advantage of a much younger person, for example. Story-wise, though, those romances take place within a year or two of you being a padawan / apprentice. You're only a year or three older than they are... because BIOWARE WILLS IT SO!!! So, if you find the relationships disturbing you've only really yourself to blame. As for having more Love Interest choices for women, I totally agree. Women in SWTOR really got the short end of the stick comparatively speaking. Even beyond the obvious choices of being unable to romance Companions like Pierce, Zenith, etc... a lot of the more interesting storyline one shot romance opportunities were passed up by the writers. I still think it's criminal that FemTrooper didn't get to romance Jonas Balkar. That guy was awesome. Should have been a Companion, honestly.
  14. My female Commando uses this one and I'm fine with how it looks. Not too big but large enough that it looks like she could cut droids in half in under a second.
  15. This is the best thread to show up on these forums in months.
