  1. Nice idea, im ridding on this one too. Also i made another similar suggestion, making romanceable companions an unlockable after romancing them for adding them into the family tree, IE: you marry a companion making it an unlockable for purchase in the legacy shop, after purchasing it you unlock it in the family tree with the only option of marrying it to the character that unlocked it, and the companion is a blank character in the legacy tree, meaning linked characters wont inherit anything from it.
  2. So you are adding families to the whole legacy system? so my main who is supposed to have a romance and even is married to a companion character is supposed to be married/marriable to another of my characters? Honestly i think it would be great if you could add the option to have romanceable companions as a possibility to add to the legacy tree. I mean if you dont like the idea of legacy relations conflicting with the companions's story then you can just add that option as an unlockable only after romancing them.
  3. Thats what she said. .... no really man, i think i read this 3 times already since i signed into these forums, is this a catchphrase? Sorry just a joke. But yeah ur right, things that arent final arent final, people should only start blabbering about Y and X after the nerf is final, tou somehow that doesnt sound realistic when i hear it come out of my own mouth, after all most final decissions have been totally final and never seen rollbacks when it comes to nerfs except under some extreme conditions, most of the time the only reason a nerf doesnt take place is because of the outcry denying the need for such nerf before such becomes public, still, it didnt come out of the devs's mouths, but they are the devs, and its up to them what to nerf, and up to us to report what needs a balance check... People just have to learn to deal with the reality of the game, everybody hurts, nerf hurts, everybody nerfs.
  4. Its not stupid at all, he raises a valid point, the devs are making us farm credits on pourpose like mad so we continue to waste our time playing indefinitely and so we dont cancel our accounts before we get XxxxX item/race, races should be unlockable by the legacy system, and they always said they would, now they are talking credits, farming credits is mindlessly slow here because its about farming dailies which are only repeatable once a day, day in and day out. This honestly started when paid mmos introduced the concept of bound items lol (as well as item malls), rares started to become more expensive, and people would have to either grind days for the game currency to buy the items or open their wallets to buy ingame currency from gold farmers etc, devs found out a way to exploit this without raising suspicion was simply to raise the cost of ingame items to idiotic heights and then to lower the giveout from quests so that people would have to keep grinding on and on and thus prolonging endgame >_> (shhh but in fact im thinking its not a strech to think that gold farmers could also be... no nvm ^^) Thus game morphs from a perfectly enjoyable game to a grindfest after 50. As for unlimited original endgame content, it is even stupid that you consider mentioning it lol, guy was just ranting, get over it lmao.
  5. lol person talking about psychology and quoting 4chan, your point isnt absurd, but there is no solution to the current problem other than implementing a cross realm LFG or adding an "online" cap for both sides which no one really wants and would cause more problems than it would solve, hence cross-realm lfg is the only real option, trying to defy the only solution to a problem is completly useless, so far no one presented a realistic alternative and neither have you, so lol please enlighten us why communities should be people confined to small guilds of friends, there are no "communities" rep side on any servers. And dont come around with the bs that there are big rep guilds, please lol, thats laudable, guilds arent communities, in my server im on a guild that has about 20 persons online at peak hour and thats 1/3 of the population on rep side, but they are mostly alts swaping around etc, the population problem is real you cant just ignore it, its causing people to have trouble looking for group for flashpoints and heroics, its causing people to have to wait for pvp queving, and its preventing the formation of any type of community in the game since servers individually lack the ammount of republics to have a decent community rep side, and subsequently causing people to drop the game since its not functioning properly... game feels like playing an online multiplayer session of a single player rpg online (oblivion etc).
  6. There is already a hide headslot option for PCs so why not for companions too?, most helmets are fugly and cover their faces, so its a constant choice between loosing the helmet and its armor rating or keeping it and strutting around for 40 levels with walking troll-face masks, (or something similar) until you reach level 50 and start not using them anymore (since you practically cant take them into ops, or hard modes, which im not complaining about). So please add a hide headslot option for companions too.
  7. Rather how is getting a replacement better? Getting no replacements means nothing without a queving penalty mechanism, whether its something like a ban that lasts hours or days, if there is a penalty it acts like a deterrant so you wont prematurely leave warzones, because even when loosing you still get medals etc. And if you leave you wont be able to queve again for a while so the harm done to teams by leavers gets reduced to an almost non-existant level if you also add a system that keeps track of your amount of leaves and bans you from pvp temporarily once you hit a number of leaves. LoL is a good example of how this system can be designed to work in a pvp enviroment, despite being a moba and this a morpg, we are talking about wzs after all, they last around the same amount of time a moba match lasts, the idea is basically the same, and we are talking about queving not gaming, so ffs no one say something stupid like "LoL is a moba you *********************" Getting a replacement is hopeless, if someone left it is because the situation was already hopeless for a reason, and turning a game around is hard enough when someone leaves for a long time and you dont get a replacement in time, that is how time sensitive warzones are, if you enter a loosing side the chances of winning are low like 1 to 1000 because of how time sensitive these current wzs are (all of them).
  8. Hold on ffs, dont be an @55 and start demanding they add new features that take a lot of planning and development like this right of the bat. I mean ***, the guys are still fixing the game which at launch still felt like a decent morpg 2 months away from finishing its beta period, and you want to add housing which wasnt even considered for this game? Barring the idea that this thread is trollbait read below if you want some life coaching Get serious kid, anyone who posts some serious bulls'hit like this is a complete idiot, what are you a fullbring user from Bleach and your fullbring is fulls'hit? thats like worse than bulls'hit bro, i seriously cant see how you ask for housing with a straight face just 2 months after launch #>_> I hope you are eaten by the trolls, Ta~Ta ps: frack the stupid profanity filter, why add one when your game has an option to turn the game's profanity filter off, add one in the forums too if you are so carebear BW.
  9. honestly this sounds stupid when i read it but i agree. Aside from that the stupid game doesnt recognize all the keys in my keyboard for example the < key to the left of Z (qwert spanish keyboard) is not bind-able, and its on my comfort range so it would be epic if it were bind-able too. ñ_ñ
  10. I agree, sorc needs to be nerfed, i wouldnt know where to start, damage is too high and even offheals are too strong for pvp, and jugs need a nerf too, honestly they are better not just at tanking but even at dealing damage than marauders. No matter what tree they are they are too superior compared to marauders. Overall i'd say heals need a nerf in pvp, you need to nerf the expertice effect on heals, not much but you seriously need to, check a normal hutball match, if there are 3 heal spec chars and 1 tank the game is in the bag, you cant focus one or two of the healers because they will continue to heal themselves full while the jugg scores, and you cant kill the jugg because the healers will just focus the tank and you wont get nowhere while their team kills your people and the juggernaut advances towards the goal. PvP is far from perfection, took BW a while until they admited operatives's backstabs were too op for pvp, specially considering their stun stab stealth and repeat "sequences" (if you can even call something that derp a sequence), and yet you cant call them balanced even with the new nerf. So just start here and nerf these two classes. PS: The statements i made are true even in 1-49 brackets, i have pvp gear in my main, and both my alts and my main find this to be true.
  11. Two suggestions. 1- Add an option to hide your companion's headslot. 2- Fire your incompetent support agents. I have been reporting bugs and giving suggestions, and over half the time i do something i get either; A- an automated response which is inacurate, useless and/or absurd B- a response that makes me doubt whether the support crew is doing their job because they either read halfassedly and dont understand, or their responses dont make sense to a point I even feel im being trolled by support. Or C- a live agent wanting to talk to me when he already has all the relevant information etc. So please start cleaning house because I've never seen a support crew so bad that makes me not want to report anything until now.
  12. Yeah honestly they could keep these features to strictly RP servers. Then again it seems BW wants to focus on making the game entirely rp like. but it wont happen since that would make it too easy to travel to the fleet, and the fleet would be soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo full all the time it would crash ppl with minimum requirements every 10 secs lol.
  13. What i want/think You guys at BW are doing a poor job nerfing, slicing now rarely gives schematics, and its not even profitable anymore. So would you please put less effort into nerfing and reroll to how it was on the last nerf? re-rolling slicing to what it was in beta is unthinkable but its sensible to turn things back to what they were on launch, its a fix thats what it is, slicing is pretty much broken now. My appeal When you think credits the first thing that comes to mind that actually consumes those credits are repairs (aside from skills, and the GTM which just makes the credits change hands while charging insignificant fees). Sooner or later people realise they are better off buying med supplies etc from GTM instead of the high prices from medical droids, so repair is the only meaningful way credits are spent here. But where do those credits come from? loot? not likely, you could probably loot grey/white items and green drops all day, and at most you would be getting 6K from a whole day's worth of looting. The Credits that run through the GTM all come from Slicing, even people who get their money from crafting, the buyers are people who either slice to pay, or got money selling crafted items to slicers in the GTM (most non the wiser, so they cry out for slicing nerfs here). Once you nerf slicing, credits will stop flowing, and prices will go down, less revenue for crafters and slicers alike, and that is when chaos will hit the streets so to speak.... You see, the only people who you are helping with nerfing slicing are the gankers/pkers, when you kill someone you force them to make repairs, and that is/(is supposed to be) the main source of expenditure for everyone, when cut their slicers's income, you make the net revenue of all crafters come down with the slicers's, if you do that then less credits flow tru the game, and the game becomes a MUCH more punishing experience when gankers come rolling out the pain, it sets you back a lot more in your gaming experience than it was orignally meant to. So please dont nerf Slicing further and let it be what it was at launch, Slicing is and will always be just an alternative for people who dont want to craft, so they arent forced to a facet of the game not everybody likes, Im even sure one of your devs said so in one of your trailers, but what they said or didnt isnt important, people who do craft made much more money than slicers before this patch, slicing is JUST a way to escape crafting if you dont like it, but its also necesary to keep the game's economy running swiftly.
  14. Krypto you know you are nuts dont you? Where do you think the money you use for repairs comes from? crafting right? but where do people get the money to buy your crafting items, either from selling their own crafting items or from slicing, but behind those who buy your craft items with craft money, i will guarantee 100% that the people buying from them are slicers, so even the people who craft and buy your crafts, are being financed by slicers. Loot money is poor, you could get a billion grey/white items and they would still only yield 5K after a full day of farming, all the money that flows tru the GTM is a by-product of slicing, if you kill slicing you are killing the market, prices will go down and people wont have enough money to repair when everyone is 50 and starts going spelunking and killing everyone they find in pvp servers. The ONLY positive part of nerfing slicing is that people will get more punished now when you PK them, which is why so many people defend the freaking nerf, because it gives much more power to PKers.
