In the consular stories first act you have to "save" a Jedi and soon after you are sent to "save" his daughter who is also a jedi. She is about 19 i would guess and its obvious they are close and that the rest of the order knows and doesnt really care. So yeah that always confused me since it seemed to go against everything the order was telling me.

well no i dont think thats true. Notice that these aren't lightsabers. This was the rakatan form and only a darksider could use them. Current lightsabers are a whole different thing from what ive seen.

Issue 0 just came out yesterday but its just some info to help you get started with whats gonna be going on. The actual story starts in issue 1. But if you're interested in concept art and the such then you should pick it up.

May not have to do with this time period but I feel ill get a quick answer here. I keep hearing that Sidious is the most powerful sith in history. From what i see in the movies and what Iv'e read of other sith that seems highly unlikely. All i remember is him being picked up and chucked down a shaft. So can someone recommend some EU stuff that shows how powerful he actually was? because this is starting to bother me that i'm so out of the know on him.

Paul wrote a short story with him. I think its called The Third Lesson. That's about it though. Hes still a brand new character.
