  1. Could be a Ford too though Fix Or Repair Daily
  2. They sure didnt during the beta, heck they actually removed alot of cool stuff, I'm sure it'll get added in the next patch as a big "look what we've beein doing!!" Look they can't even get their customer service right, it's downright laughable at best, you expect them to put effort into fixing the game? Face it, it's a story driven leveling game, mmo's have always been about the endgame, quests were a nice addition to get there and get a feel for the world, but Bioware made it the main part of the game, and left the rest in a complete mess. I'd rather have a mmo where I have to grind out levels on mobs for weeks, and get a fantastic endgame that'll keep me entertained for years, instead we get a sorta nice leveling experience (the actual quests are worse than they are in wow...) and then get a endgame that makes WoW look like the king of kicks.
  3. Not everyone are satisfied with just queuing for ??? to get points for gear What amazes me, is that we have a huge amount of players who are sick and tired of WoW's very limited endgame, and what does SWTOR do? copy it and it's far from as "good" as it is in Wow fail But I'm sure that KOTOR fans and baddies are enjoying it. And dx9??? really?
  4. Let's take a look at the long list of Theme park mmo's that became a success. World of Warcraft. Well that's about it, I guess we'll all ignore the long list of themepark mmo's that are now F2P or have a customer base that is below Eve's. But I'd love for you to think hard about what Themepark mmo's made it big since WoW.. none? Thought so. In the end, they'll need to mix it, Sandbox mmo's allow for alot of freedom, and player created content, and Theme parks allow for stuff like... well raids is probably the most positive I have to say about it
  5. Look it's quite simple, what does WoW have and what will Blizzard do in the future? Look at that and you'll know what they'll add to the game, it's obvious that SWTOR will have the same features as WoW 1 year from now, and you'll be doing the exact same thing, queue for instanced dungeons and pvp, on a cross-server LFG tool from the fleet. Came here hoping for something else than the WoW gameplay? guess you might aswell stick with the character you spent 3 years on in wow, Blizzardare far better at what they do, than Bioware are.
  6. What a silly idea, I guess we need servers for every country in the world then? There are 6 million people in Denmark..... There are other countries that have a far bigger population, who would get them first, did you expect that this thread would make Bioware put up a Danish server?
  7. Lol, next up: Panda's are the race you'll unlock with Legacy points! Don't have time for a mmo? play something else then, the game is nothing but a glorified lobby for instanced pvp and dungeons /yawn
  8. Space combat sums up how this game feels, on rails, I doubt they'd break the perfect formula they created just for space combat. Besides that, they'll probably be more busy (and spent more money) on new cut scenes for future content, so I can't see how they will get around to redoing space combat, I'm pretty sure the OP will happily see it stay as it is forever, besides, having a rail combat system and a free one just wouldnt make any sense, I doubt they'll change the rail game into a sandbox hybrid aswell, you won't see 2 different versions of space combat in this game ever, and they arent going to remove the current one. Anyone who expects that, might aswell put money on Ferrari changing their name. You'll probably get a few new missions now and then though
  9. Since when was a 20% loss of customers within the first month "pretty darn good" ? Anyone who bought the game, 10 days after release or later, were on their free month when they did the "count", they'll be included even if they cancel their sub, since it'll run for the entire month. The game is just terrible for pvp, I'll agree on that, I'm not even sure why they added pvp for this game, it's a timesink and anything but fun, compared to games that have gotten it somewhat on the mark (hello GW)
  10. This aint WoW, this aint Blizzard. Remember Aoc, WAR, Aion? they were better pvp games than SWTOR is. Anyone who want to do just abit of competitive pvp, will be extremely dissapointed with this game, which is pretty much what the OP is saying.
  11. It's really too early to determine wether it's a success or not. Theese 1.7 mill include people on their free month. A 6 month sub base is more reliable, people will have exhausted the cut scene content by then, and will start to judge the gameplay at max level. In the end SWTOR does have serious issues. There are better single player games for the story part. And there are better mmo's for the mmo part, it's not a secret that alot of mmo players are eager to try out gw2, I'm personally looking forward to Archeage.
  12. fact: You don't have to be a fanboy to play the game I hate the cupholder in my car, the volume button for the radio doesnt react every 40th time i use it, I don't really trust the range indicator. Does that mean that I'll return it or drive it off a cliff? no, but I realise that it aint perfect.
  13. No worries, they'll fix it on Saturday, from 5pm CET till 10PM CET.
  14. I guess if the same 1.7 million people jumped out from the empire state building, you'd follow them, obviously they must have gotten the right idea. Look, your argument is like saying "Mcdonalds have more customers than any other restaurent in the world, ergo they must be making the best food in the world" The OP's post is constructive and non trollish, I fail to see why people should or would respond in a childish way, unless ofcourse you can't present any valid arguments against his.
