  1. This game seems to have a pretty high computer requirement to participate in pvp. For example, queue, let's say you load for 60 seconds, then you have to wait about 15 more seconds to get past the door of huttball, you then are kicked for inactivity, but what can you expect from a bunch of monkeys in front of a type writer trying to make a game?
  2. Was searching for some information on the mechanics of huttball passing, such as does it really mater who's closest to the center? Where might I find information on huttball mechanics such as exact range of passability, does it mater how many reds/greens are in the circle? Edit- I'm looking for a thread on more advanced information on huttball passing, I'm already aware i can bind it and throw it to teammates.
  3. Maintenance isn't currently being performed though?
  4. How would one do a forum search? I cannot find the search area, Thank you
  5. So turning in quests i've noticed there's almost always an option to get this little lockbox, i've gotten a few and opened them only to get vendor greens, is there any real motivation to select the lockbox for quest reward?
  6. How will your raid leader handle loot? Can't use master looter as it doesn't work (no /roll, and give to random person doesn't work if you want to give to a random sith warrior or such) Need b4 greed gets messy with companions, pugs, and item mods. Lets say you have an item that drops from a raid boss Heavy armor -armoring (str/endur) -Enhancement (will/surge) -mod (aim/endur) This is clearly a merc item (heavy armor + aim) But a sorcerer, marauder, bounty hunter, and juggernaut can all benefit from this item (assuming heavy armor has 0 stats aside from 25 armor base and once a player finds a good piece of armor they will replace the pieces instead of the whole) I personally would divide the item mods into classes, then let each of those classes pick a number between 1/100 and completely ignore the base item (heavy armor, lightsaber, etc) as in this game, the base item means completely nothing unless i'm mistaken
  7. So I am an Archaeologist, Slicer, and and Artifice Slicer was removed from the game and is no longer a crew skill, more or less a placebo skill. Archaeologist is amazing money and gives me items to level my Artifice. Now my Artifice, I can't seem to figure out what it does? It seems to just make a bunch of terrible gems and lightsabers along with shields. Crystals, enhancements and hilts can be gotten from any instance and removed from instance items and put into your own item. So there isn't much point to that. The lightsabers are bad. And the shields, generators, and focus' are all next to vendor trash even reverse engineered schematics So do you guys think Artifice will get a buff or do you think I just got artifice skill to 400 for nothing o.o I was going to make some awesome looking shields that glowed like a champion and whatnot, but shields don't appear visible in this game
  8. Hmm, it appears if you change one of the check boxes in the preferences, it is permanent and cannot be unchecked no mater what you do until you uninstall SWTOR, Autoskip movies, chat settings etc. My computer specs are- great also my guild is having the same problems as I am, and they have extremely excessive computer specs for this game, I don't know why we are lagging during PVP Warzones, but we shouldn't be, does anyone else have this problem? Also, another question, my guard ability, is that pve or pvp only?
  9. I didn't play the beta, so i'm a newbie here, and i've some questions if anyone has answers, i'll get right into them. : ) 1) I left general/pvp/trade chat at level 7, and for the life of me and my entire guild, I cannot rejoin them. Tried all the slash commands, clicks the living crud out of the check boxes in the system preferences, same with the chat box settings, made new chat boxes, nothing works to get general, pvp, and trade chat back, does anyone know how to do so? 2) If I had a bucket, and I were to fill said bucket with the amount of lag I receive during pvp events, it would be a very heavy bucket. That being said, it isn't my computer, nor my internet, my guild-mates have the same issue which is that we get about 1+ second of lag after we click a skill to when the skill actually happens, we tried adjusting our ability queue down to 0-.25 to no affect, how would we go about reducing our pvp lag that isn't a graphical issue? 3) Is there a way to hotkey raid markings for quicker targeting? 4) Huttball, any tips to getting that air jumper to not be useless and throw you in weird direction? 5) I've been kicked from a battleground twice now from a debuff by the name of "Deserter Detection", And the last time it kicked me i was literally holding the huttball running to the goal, does one get kicked for getting the huttball more than 3 times in one game? That's all the questions I can come up with for now, Thanks in advance!
