I can't beat this guy. 15th try so far. I've done good so far. He always has 5-10% health left. it's infuriating and I am angry as hell right now. I'm vigilance spec, using Kira. He killed her with 40% left in one attack. I don't know what's up but that knockback thing is crazy. I tried using CoTF twice, so i've been at this for at least an hour. sigh. spent a couple of Ks on meds and stims.. tried buying adrenals, nope didn't help. (am lvl 26.. intended level). Tried all the stances. he ALWAYS has 10% health left. what. the. **** edit: beat him. finally. the key seemed to be moving out of his knockback aoe thing. also letting kira pound on him for 5 seconds, and then immediately interrupting whatever he was going to do, made me save face. he has a powerful slap that is very effective. it almost got me killed. interesting. This battle made me nerd rage, but now that I killed him.. ahh. so good. so satisfying:D

Guild Wars 2 is said to remove tanking completely. I'm interested in seeing how that will turn out. Their threat is generated by attacking the nearest enemies, so anyone can tank, and since there is no healing class, everyone is a self sufficent healer. It sounds like a good idea on paper, but is it in reality? I'm not to happy with tanking or healing either. Because it revolves around to me either spamming sundering strike / taunt, perhaps a force sweep for AoE (im a guardian). its a very stale rotations. and having rotations in general is pity:(

Darnnit guys. This game is great when it's hard. Please do not ruin it. I've beat this several times, today at lvl 23, with Kira and myself undergeared and no call on the force. I only used a med peck and had no adrenals or stims. It's absolutely doable. I was Guardian, Vigilance spec. I had 30% health left after the fight. Yes he beat me the first time(call on the force was used on that one), but second time it really made me think. Went into Soresu - guarded Kira, and tried to slowly burn him off while taking as little damage as possible. Between a sundering strike i had not upgraded since getting lvl 23, and force kick which I have both keymapped to my mouse button 4 and 5, I relied on my usual rotation. Yes this game can be frustrating, but having tough fights is part of what makes the game fun. do not be discouraged. We as a player community are de-conditioned by games who give in too easy. Please, even if you play for story mainly like myself, take it as a challenge. Dying is fun. change your attitude. believe that using your brain to beat challenges makes you smarter.

Are there any of the Knife Attacks for the Operative, were the knife is not stuck in the victims body? that seems a bit weird that they do that for some of the skills at least. Do any of the higher end knife attacks look good at all?

Someone I talked to yesterday said that it was possible to romance her without getting dark side points? Maybe he just meant flirting with her once without getting dark side points, because I think I tried that once. Basically to open the romance possibility and quests related to her you need to go after every flirt you get? if you skip any flirts you blow your chances with her no matter how much affection? dark/light side alignment?

Is the Kira romance bug fixed now?

Very annoyed. I got up when they took them down. I had the entire day to play, and it feels wasted. It's 4 PM now(in my time zone), so I feel like i've been waiting from 11 am to now. This sucks.

I don't get it. If you watch the Jedi Knight Armor Progression video.. None of the Guardians are wearing hoods at high level armor. And the jedi knight at character selection sheet in the uber cool trooper mixed with a cloak but with the hood down... Someone else mentioned it, but it wont look good with crazy eye implants either. They need to allow all of the face stuff to be hidden. If they can't make a hood down, I would take them just not having a hood. That's how much this bothers me. Or more specifically.. my character being bald. > Edit: And sith warriors have plenty of non-hooded gear. and even the jedi knight on the freaking loading screen has no hood. Basically we are wearing the same chest piece from lvl 10 to lvl 50. I'm absolutely speechless. were are the armors from the trailer?

What about social vendors? have anyone found or heard anything about this? coro has vendors with female dresses. maybe there is some modable good social gear other places?

I'm at the point now were I want to abandon my lvl 27 character. I have stayed so long with this server through untold queues, and it's because of this. It's because it became the unofficial(blood) scandinavian server, so EVERYONE seems to be stubbon and stick around too because they feel it's the place they belong to.

How many Melee abillities does Vanguard have and how much are they engaged in melee? I am counting 3: - Stockstrike : Hit with the butt of rifle - Gut: A DoT Bleed, that is in the tactics tree - ??? Can Vanguards use Vibro Knifes?

btw this does not work very well with girls in real life. they react about the same way as I react when my cats drags in a dead bird it killed last week. thank you kitty!

I'm looking and looking and can't find any heavy armor chest pieces that are non-Trooper theme that does not have a robe. I've spent hours looking through all the commedations vendors, pvp vendors, all sorts of vendors on the 5 first planets, and on the republic fleet and nothing. There is only some low level 15- variation of the jedi knight starter zone-ish gear, but none of that is mod-able so you can't play with that.
