  1. Funny thing is that people that ask for tougher fights and love the veteran mode always seem to fail at explaining themselves. Master should be really tough yes, veteran should be right in the middle. I'm guessing the developers have played games in the past where they go from easy-normal-hard-nightmare so I thought that the whole point was to make it kinda similar to that
  2. Bottom Line... Veteran mode is quite difficult, gear needs is actually understandable. Still I believe that should be more focus on Master rather than Veteran. I don't mind dying a few times at all. After all I've been playing the game since BETA and dying a few times was a daily thing back then, still was manageable, use some stims, med packs and put some brains in order to finish the fight. That's cool... But having 228 gear, augmented. 25 Companions and still dying so freakin' fast is kinda pointless. As I said again if I lose 100k on repairs just to have a drop of a 210 gear. Sorry but I don't see the point. The issue that I see is more people complaining than actually liking it. I don't know if BW intention was to make people play in co-ops or what but again that is just veteran, can't imagine master.
  3. The real issue here (from what I see) is, Marr kicked my rear with a 29k punch, all my equipment is rating 228 focused on power and critical... DPS so it makes sense. Now, I would love to know how I'm going to battle if: my interrupts don't work on Marr, stims are utterly useless, I can't craft anything beyond 228, drops are useless, CPX takes forever... Veteran doesnt make sense to me. I thought it was going to be a little more difficult not utterly stupid and overpowered (Master mode will be what?) So far it has only been a waste of creds repairing my equipment and time trying to craft a decent set. Looks more favorable to Tanks and healers (Though I don't know if it actually is) In SM Marr only manage to take 2% of my HP during the fight that didn't even last a minute. In VM he took 25% in one punch... Now my question is... is this supposed to be enjoyable and balance?
  4. Sadly this game only continuous achievement is to disappoint... I am a Bioware fan because story wise, their games are the best (at least for me), story-wise this game is awesome, KOTET is good but Vailyn gets boring towards the end so it disappointed me a little bit, still I can live with that. Now after being done with everything I took my time with veteran gameplay and it just completely sucks. No balance at all, I would have expect the difficulty to increase periodically but instead I get instant 25k attacks, gearing up I can understand but is just the beginning so its tiresome to be constantly killed... I prefer l2p over groups or PVP, I have a life so I play the game periodically I don't live for it. But after this last major disappointment all I can think is "what a waste of my money". I might be approaching the whole thing in the wrong way but running in circles while attacking the mob is not my thing, its boring... if that is the secret to beating the veteran mode, then disappointed is not even enough to say. I know is a MMO and is absurd to wish for a better solo playing experience but for the love of god... for once... make something that will be at least decent for both scenarios.
  5. Be aware that all of the following will be spoilers!! In the last battle (I guess is the last), when battling Spirit Vailyn, is there anyone else having an extremely hard time killing the spirit or is just me missing something? Difficulty is way too different between characters doesn't make any sense to heal 30k if you gonna get owned with a 5k that hits you around 8 times without chance to avoid it besides running around... That way of fight makes it boring folks
  6. Appreciate the reply folks, I will definitely do that for the future. Usual updates are "fast" but mayors are a big pain to do.
  7. I'm sure I'm not the first, and I wont be the last either to complain about this... Since BitRaider appear the games takes forever to update. It is absurd that SWTOR takes more time to update than a clean installation of BF1 or Titanfall 2... It makes no sense at all to use such a service, is slow, takes way too much resources and makes the computer useless while updating. More than suggesting to change it my question is WHY is that thing needed with this game?, why can't you simply update through Origin or a similar system or be like it used to be before when the game didn't use it. BitRaider is the worst thing to have during mayor updates. 2 hours and still counting and I'm only at 86%... It can't even use the full speed of my HDD but still makes it useless, I simply don't understand what's the deal with this...
  8. LOL of course not. What I meant was an army of "Arcanns" as in multiple Aarcanns (big mistypo, sorry). My complain is not against the difficulty of this particular bosses in the arena but the logic behind them. I don't mind if it is hard to killed as long as it goes with the rest of the game. For example I had a hard time killing a boss that shouldn't be as hard as Arcann. So either Arcann is too weak when you fight him or those bosses in the Arena are too hard. That is why I ask those who played that part already if it is really worth it. Take into consideration that I play the game for the story it is suppose to provide. I play the game solo and anything multiplayer bores me to death. That is why I don't get the whole thing of having 1000 companions that never talk to you again and the difficulty to get them. If you ask me I prefer less with quality than lots without it
  9. I was trying to play it and got simply bored at the logic of this game... can defeat a freaking army of "Arcanns" by myself but can't defeat Lanos... when I'm about to I get killed too fast by some minor characters that seemed to do way too much damage... Don't care about all that probably I will get it in a few tries, now my question is... is it really worth it to play it? I've been away for a couple of months son is the first time I tried the EC but tbh, it was just way too boring.
  10. Well that's definitely something worth trying when using melee dps I wouldnt expect them to check this and try to work on this, it just feels a little boring to go over the same things over and over again, to the point that since there is actually nothing to do in the game, you stop logging until new stuff is available. With a little hope of not being the only one in this maybe by swtor 7.0 they do a fix lol
  11. I think you are completely missing the point of the complaint, or concern I tried to explain... don't get me wrong... I have never seen my HP bar go under 95% in any heroics unless I forgot to bring my companion, game as it is today is beyond the definition of EASY, you have to be extremely unprepared to die in any mission. If the enemies were a little stronger that would be ok, that makes the fight last a little longer and it might even be more interesting. Now when the fight is a little longer because everybody seems to stun you for 4 seconds BUT STILL your HP is at 100%... my question is... Is that really necessary? what is the whole point? If I'm using a Marauder I take a little longer killing that when using a AOE Character. That is ok, understandable. But stuns don't make any sense at this point, at least not in fights where you kill in three attacks
  12. I think I was not clear enough with my point. You can go to any planet to play Heroics and the fight will be fairly easy, Makeb for example is no challenge to anyone not even in lvl 55. My point is, why are the low lvl mobs able to interrupt you or knock you down when there is such a gap in terms of powers. Just as we can't do that to world, op or FP bosses there should be something that triggers the same type of buff for characters that reach maximum lvl. I dont know if it is possible but I will say again... "story wise" should be logical
  13. First of all I don't know if this should here or in suggestions but I guess it's ok... Does it make any sense at all to be knockdown, interrupt, blind or any of the kind by low level mobs? In a battle against 3 or 4 mobs each have at least 1 interrupt by blinding or knockdown the battle becomes boring cuz we need to wait for our counters to cooldown, mobs wait like 10 secs whereas our characters take up to 3 mins if you dont use the abilities to lower this. Now, if you battle a World Boss, an OP, FP or any other high ranked enemy they always have a "no-knockdown" and/or "no-interrupt" buff... So my main question is (if we follow a supposedly "story-driven" MMO): Why in the world a lvl 65 (that has a "reputation" in the story) is affected by what a mob lvl 14 is doing? I believe is a little absurd that some enemies in Balmorra can knockdown a Darth, or some random ACOLYTES can choke a Jedi Master... Doesn't make any sense and in fact for me it just make the battle boring, I understand higher lvls but definitely not lower lvls
  14. Thank you all for the answers given, now I can finally understand the point of doing that. Been playing for a while but I guess I am very noob when it comes to pvp
  15. What's with the Cartel Coins that now we don't received them right away??? In February it was the 13 now is 15 and nothing?, should that be given to you after your monthly payment has been charge?. It used to be that way so I wonder what's up with that now
