  1. Real Wisconsinites know it's pronounces Skon-sin. The W is silent XD. Anywhoo.. I'm from the Milwaukee area, you find yourself on Dark Reaper gimmie a holler. Valzina Valzini, pretty much any toon on that has Valz lol
  2. I'm gonna have to disagree with you. My first toon I rolled on live was on a low pop server. Most servers in the beginning had decent populations, so I leveled to 50. After a few days I noticed the 50 population was exceedingly low. So guess what I did. I rerolled on another server. I watched server pops at the times I play most, and after deciding a rerolled again ( I wasnt playing as seriously the second time, cuz I knew I might reroll again). The server I am currently on has a great population at the times I play, I got lucky enough to get in a great guild. So no, the whole complaint of a low pop server doesnt sit well with me. Get off your rear and reroll. Yes it will suck while leveling again, but at least you can run FPs and OPs then. And don't tell me you dont want to leave your friends, because if you had some, you'd be running with em. So whats holding you back? EDIT: for spelling and to add. P.S. I'm not actually against cross realm or even single realm LFD. I just wish after getting raid geared they would add a reason for me to.
  3. I have both titles. Unyielding is from KP Nightmare in 2 hours, and The Infernal is from EV Nightmare in 2 hours.
  4. I'm not claiming to know exactly how OPs healing is. I play a powertech dps. I DO have a sorc healer, and a OPs healer alt. I agree at least at low level the sorc is seriously more powerful a healer (than again both my alts are VERY low level). That aside, I'm presently in a guild that cleared 8 man Nightmare modes and recently move on to 16 mans, clearing both with Unyielding and Infernal titles. We have 3 healers. 1 merc healer and 2 OPs. I hear the merc going over heat about once per fight, and one of the OPs is a dedicated raid healer. I don't know healing assignments, because it isn't my job, but Healing is NEVER an issue. TL: DR Sorc/sages arent needed. Enjoy the things that are different about each class. And I spoke with my OPs healers and they said they NEVER have energy issues. So whatever you are doing, you are doing it wrong.
  5. Well maybe my guild just hit a bad bug or something. We used to run 8 mans and got the normal loot, then the next 2 weeks we did 16 mans and got the same loot. I'll have to let my GM know that we were supposed to be getting more.
  6. I don't have any answers for the problems either of you have had happening with the bugs, but I just wanted to let you know, there is no difference between 8 man and 16 man loot. You don't even get 1 more piece.
  7. I'm not saying this as a knock against anyone. I believe they had normal modes auto assign loot because it was meant as a pug kind of thing. If you think of it as LFR in WOW, just with a random loot mechanic as opposed to classes rolling all willy-nilly on loot, it's pretty much the same thing. Hardmodes and Nightmare Mode were meant for guild runs. Not to mention the exact same loot, aside from a few pieces, drops from hardmode flashpoints.
  8. I was one of many that started out HATING space missions. For some unknown reason I have fallen in love as of late with them. I make sure to do them EVERY day. My MAIN complaint is that the ship is tied to my mouse movements. For the love of God let my ship move all the way one way and my mouse the other way. I find it rather annoying I have to choose between shooting something and hitting an astroid, or not shooting it and not hitting the astroid. I'm not a bad player that I cant afford to take the hit and still clear it sucessfully, I just wish I could have my cake and eat it too. Plus more of the harder ones. I have full purples on my ship and even the "hardest" ones I can get thru with no real problems. But I love them nonetheless.
  9. I have played both to 50, and I MUCH prefer my powertech. I use Taugrim's "iron Fist" spec for PVP. It doeals a VERY nice bit of damage, with the added ability to shield an ally. I generaly get between 6-9 comms per Warfront (depending on how long they last). To be fair, I thought at lower levels the assassin was much funner tho. The BH Powertech doesnt get very many fun abilities till a little later, plus trying to keep heat levels low when you only have 2-5 abilities and no heat dumps is pretty boring IMO. But once I cracked the 30s, there was no turning back for me.
  10. @OP I would recommend looking at Taugrim's posts. I was thinking of just going a PVP tank spec until i looked at his blog site and his post on this forums. His Iron Fist spec is amazing. I feel like a tank still and can dish out enough damage to remain competitive, while still being able to use guard on my allies. I do feel they should change how shielding works, but until they do, this is as good as it gets.
  11. I have to disagree. On progression fights EVERYONE eventualy takes damage. Why does an extra % of healing on yourself seem bad?
  12. A bit of the changes in there is good, but I dont like the loss of healing to self from Empty Body. For progression reducing damage/getting extra heals is always a good thing. . I'd go with this one. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#201GGrRbd0dGzZf00MZoM.1 The reason I dropped Dark Resilience is because I general don't cast Consuption without the proc.
  13. This coming from the guy that also threatened to quit unless BW fixed the currency trading between Merc and warzone coms. Hows about you stop QQing and go back to WoW finaly, I wont miss you.
  14. I've looked around a bit on the forums and can't find anything about it. No, I'm not 50 yet, should be this weekend. But I was wondering, can you do an 8 man ops then turn around and do a 16 man? Or once you are locked to an ops you are locked from both? Thanks
