  1. For those complaining of no Ready Check function, there is a simple, manual one that I use: tell the group to cluster around you. When you want to perform a ready check, move to one side or back 10 steps, tell everyone that is ready to move to your spot. If everyone does, you're ready. If not, either wait for slowpoke, or start looking for replacements.
  2. Asking as a raging altoholic, when will there be more options for leveling areas? If I have to go through Coruscant/Taris/Nar Shadaa/Tatooine again, I'm going to poke out my eyes, honest. Will we have a choice of planets as we level alts? Or possibly even new quest areas on the same planets, so that we can skip one or two of the lame-old same-old after having gone through them 5-6 times?
  3. Yeah, troopers are the easiest to gear up your squad...they all get your hand-me-downs, lol. I thought the same thing at first, when dealing with Qyzen Fess on the Consular, but strength increases only melee damage, while aim actually increases melee and ranged damage, provides crit bonuses for damage and does some other good thing for them. Aim away!
  4. Dude, don't tease us with 7, 8 & 9. I've been waiting on news for these three since 1983 when I saw Jedi, lol. When I heard he was dropping the last 3, I just about cried.
  5. Okay, I have a serious question here. What is the difference at 50 between Sticky Grenade and Assault Plastique? If you spend the talent point on AP, it shares a CD with SG...but the tooltip sounds identical to what I've seen from SG so far (I'm 27 on my Gunnery Commando atm). What's the point I'm not seeing yet?
  6. Lol, seriously....you guys obviously weren't around for WoW's checkered past at launch, or say the beginning of TBC. This is small fries compared to those headaches, trust us. Here's the deal: they could let you in and then the servers crash because you and the other 1000 impatient people are all swarming the first quest NPCs and clicking on him at the same time. Think that wouldn't take longer? and in that case, NOBODY gets to play for that time. Here's the other deal: Yes, they could open up another 300 servers if they want. I have no doubt they could manage this. However, for the millions of dollars they'd have to spend on this little thing you want (really, you don't think a server just costs the pay for a BW employee to type in a server name, and then poof-voila, it is done, right?) and then in 3 weeks when the demand per server goes back down to normal levels, with people logging in and out at all times...you have 300 extra servers that are all ghost towns. All so you don't feel like you were cheated for a few days of early access. Please, let me know where to send some of my grandson's extra pacifiers...I'll be happy to help you feel better!
  7. If you read the title in your head and pronounced it "Hoose", kudos!
  8. New Castle, about an hour outside of Pittsburgh. How about you?
