    Huttball Mercy Rule

Obviously that's not the solution. It'd have to be a bit smarter than "ahead by x scores then stop". Would have to take into account how long it's been since they've scored, that sort of thing.

Because teams get to 5 and sit there for 8 minutes while the other team leaves and new people cycle in to a hopeless game. It's frustrating and would be easy to fix.

Yes that's what I'm referring to.

Huttball really needs a mercy rule. If a team is down by more than 5 points, let's face it, it's done.
  5. If they don't like it they can leave. I don't skip flashpoint dialogue either.
  6. I really don't have a problem with someone rolling need for a companion under 2 conditions: 1. No one else needs it for their own player character 2. They explain themselves. Really how long does it take to type "needing for companion"?
  7. Even on an RP server, roleplaying an ***hat does not make OOC immature behavior excusable.
  8. These are problems with you and your friends, not with the game design. I play with my husband every time I am online. If we are playing without each other, we are on different characters. If you don't have the self control to do that, that's your fault. And why didn't you roll a new character with your girlfriend? I think you are the one that failed, not the game.
  9. Actually the server forums were a wonderful resource on my WoW realm. I still have friends that I talk to out of game that I met on the forums back in 2006 or 2007.
  10. I'm fairly certain he's trolling us (he did admit himself that his opinions aren't based on any logical conclusion) and I'm not going to feed him anymore.
  11. As an example, I get just as angry in a group when this happens when it's not me who is affected. I have left groups when items I can't even equip are stolen from another player. As I said, it's not the item I'm upset about, it's the lack of respect and common courtesy.
  12. Every opinion is based on logic. Every thought is based on logic. It's how we think. No one here is complaining about a particular item of loot. We are complaining about the behavior and attitude of players towards their group mates. There is a big difference.
  13. Nowadays I get to play maybe 4 hours a week at best. If I run a flashpoint, I probably won't run another for weeks. Speak for yourself. I won't see that item again for a very long time, if ever.
  14. It has absolutely nothing to do with "earning" an item or having the "right" to an item. It has to do with common courtesy, treating others as you would like to be treated, etc.
  15. Your logic is incredibly flawed. Just about every item that drops is specifically designed for a specific class. Suggesting that someone who fits that class and intends to use the item as the designers intended is more selfish than someone rolling on an item intended for a class not their own is absolutely asinine.
