  1. Thanks for the answers - didn`t think about respeccing. Is that expensive? I´d be open to get field respecc, but if I have to pay 200k just to get my healer build for a FP, it`s just not worth it.
  2. Hey guys, I always like to play several chars, so I can try out different things and always get rested bonus. My other "main" chars are an imperial agent (sharshooter) and a jedi knight (sentinel). So I basically have pure dps builds. Now I´ve leveled a consular to level 10 and am trying to decide where to go. I would really like to try out a healing char as I think, it`d get me into flashpoints faster and I generally like the healing aspect of games. But I am wondering, if the normal levelling would be a chore. It wouldn`t be much fun to hit 10 times, not doing much damage, and then healing myself to hit the mob 10 more times. Oh, by the way, I have Treek as a companion, so that could help some. So what do you say: for a guy that mainly plays the story line and flashpoints, is a healing spec worthwhile? Thanks, Mike
  3. Hi guys, I´ve been playing this game since it`s release and have been enjoying it quite a bit. I feel like I´ve been playing a lot, but I´m only level 34 on my main and 22 on my alt. I´ve just now read some on the forums and noticed the growing hate on the game. And I can understand it - though I feel different. TOR copied from the best (as in most successful) MMORPG and did mainly one thing very differently: the questing. With the story and the voice acting this has the feeling of a bioware single player rpg with all the good of MMORPGs. I think most people would agree, that they did a really good job on this. Compared to a most other MMORPGs TOR was also pretty polished when it came out with lots of content. If you enjoy the story and the general gameplay, there is enough here to entertain you for a long time - or until you hit level 50. I understand that a lot of people play these games more obsessively than I do - and they basically outplayed the content already. In TOR the game is what you do all up the way to level 50. After that without real story, the game loses it`s major strength. But you have to understand, that all the stories and questing is a lot more work to develope than it is for other MMORPGs. That`s why there is not that much endgame content right now. You guys are too fast for the developers ;-). But if they don`t want to lose too many players, they have to solve that fast. More story for max level players or a real advantage to starting another character is the way to go I believe - perhaps a story that adds a couple of hours every 2 weeks. Or a story for a guild? Flashpoints and PvP are nice, but they get old really fast. I hope that enough people stay and that there are a lot of slow players like me, that still have lots of content in front of them. This game has flaws and doesn`t appeal to everyone, but to me it`s the most fun I had with an MMORPG since SWG (player cities for the win) and I really hope it keeps improving. Mike
  4. Hi guys, I´m playing a PT right now (level 31) with all points in the tanking tree since I want to try out tanking in flashpoints. But since I do most of my levelling solo I thought about using "aim"-heavy equipment for more damage. But right now I´m not really sure if that would help, since my rotation is mainly Rocket Punch, Flame Burst, Flamethrower and that blue shot. So, is "aim" the right skill for more damage or should I just go with endurance?
  5. Ich hätte da mal eine Frage: ich habe vor einiger Zeit die Collectors Edition vorbestellt und hier registriert. Damit habe ich auch den frühzeitigen Spielzugang. Da wir relativ bald umziehen habe ich aber die CE storniert und die normale bestellt. Jetzt finde ich keine Option um den CE Key zu löschen und den Key der normalen einzugeben (zusätzlich geht auch nicht). Kann ich jetzt einfach mit dem Key der CE die Tage bis zum Release spielen und den Account dann mit dem Key der Standard Edition aufwerten, oder muss ich dann einen neuen Account erstellen?
