  1. Can you be more specific? Like which relics scale with what? I am a Sniper with Burning Force and Energy Surge Device and neither one seems to scale. Although the latter is the hardmode version, it seems to do less damage even though it has a higher tooltip amount (which suggests resists to Energy and not to Elemental damage). But neither of them do more damage than the tooltip (on a Sniper). So if these relics scale, we need to know which one goes with which class. That's the question of this thread!
  2. Thanks for the replies. I'll keep researching. So far I've found that the Hardmode one that procs 226 energy damage does less than 226 on a non-crit, suggesting that it is reduced by resistances. The one that procs 156 elemental hits for 156 (unless it crits for more) but seems to crit less often than the energy one. Still a mystery. 156/6 = 26DPS = 1560DPM = 12480 extra damage in an 8 minute boss fight. Not a grand number but you don't have to activate it. Shedding light on the scaling or resistances would help number crunching.
  3. They could allow trades of BoP gear within the raid to those who killed that boss and solve the problem while also tackling mis-click issues that players could then solve themselves.
  4. Boss 4 in Karagga's Palace is the G4-BC Heavy Fabricator droid. He drops relics with proc effects. The questions is, do these procs scale with any stat? For instance, on regular mode my Sniper got the Burning Force relic (30% proc to do 156 elemental damage; can't occur more than once every 4.5secs). When it procs, it does 156 "yellow" damage. A Sorc in my guild got the healing relic. (30% proc to do 300 healing or some such.) He says it does far more than 300, suggesting that it scales off of his Willpower. The name "Burning Force" suggests that it might benefit a force user, but the game auto-looted it to me, a Sniper. Has anyone found that these relics scale? Which relic to which stat? I've seen the relics drop that proc with internal, energy, and elemental damage so far. In hardmode, the tooltip proc amount is upped by about 75 with no other changes. It might be that each one coincides to a different stat (internal - str, energy - cunn, elemental - will) but I have no evidence to support this theory. Anyone find that their scales? We'd like to loot these guys to the right classes. Thanks!
  5. Yeah, it's odd. I wish we could have all seen what the loot was before the timer ended. I wish the Marauder was able to trade the Agent token. We couldn't even see who selected Need/Greed or the rolls on any item because the 72 lines of text scrolled by. It was very confusing. Which is why I suggest some changes to the system. Especially since it's a different system than normal mode. So there's some suggestions to improve the game and reduce GM work load.
  6. Is there a graphical timer? I must have missed it. Could have been. I was reading what items dropped and discussing who would roll on what at the time. It was a surprise change from the looting system in non-Nightmare mode. As soon as someone clicked on the body, the loot popped up for everyone (2 items at a time) and the timer started. Anyway, there are several fixes that could make that system better. This isn't the first time I've seen loot go to the wrong person that could have been traded to solve the problem, but required a ticket instead. I figure the devs are motivated to make changes which generate less customer service load.
  7. Last night our guild started Nightmare Mode EV after completing regular EV and Karagga's Palace. To our surprise, the loot on the boss was not auto-assigned to classes who could use it like regular-mode Operations. Everything was a Need/Greed pop-up. Drops were displayed 2 at a time. As we looked through the drops and discussed who would roll on what, the internal "roll" timer ended. Loot was distributed who-knows-how and we couldn't even see what all the drops were. There was one Agent in the Operation. The Rakata Agent gloves token dropped. It was auto-looted to a Marauder who couldn't trade it to the Agent. Needless to say, we were rather unhappy. We put in a ticket. Suggestions: 1. Display all the drops at the same time. 2. Allow trading of BoP items among the Operation group that killed the boss. 3. Display a visual indicator of a timer when you run a timer.
  8. Getting close to 200 green armoring level 22's I've RE'd and gotten no schematics. Has anyone done this successfully? I'm curious as to whether I'm unlucky or it's a mechanic that's not yet in the game. 0.5% chance for a blue recipe seems a bit small for random chance settings.
  9. Does that mean you have successfully RE'd a 22 green and found a blue recipe?
  10. It's something to hope for in future patches. Sadly, the speeders don't even look interesting. The epic one is the exact same as the level 40 one, just a different color. Much cooler speeders at the vendor, and for cheaper.
  11. I've RE'd over 100 armoring 22's and gotten no blue recipes. Not one. It makes me wonder if it's not in the game yet. I just burned through a stack of 99 Thermoplast Flux, which is how I counted the attempts. Has anyone gotten a blue armoring 22?
  12. I think there is an additional mechanic benefit to being behind natural cover. Some incoming attacks are blocked with the word "cover" popping up. I would like to see this applied to the portable shield as well. After all, why have a shield at all if it isn't providing the cover? :-)
  13. We are the 99%! Bail out the Galactic Bank! Occupy Hutta! I love it when poor peoples' solution to poverty is to make everyone else poor. Guess where that logic gets you.
  14. I was glad to have Slicing because I could use the money I made to buy mats and fund guildies who were working on crafting. I had a universal resource to share and my guildies could provide their specialized resources in exchange. Crafting is expensive and doesn't seem lucrative so far (quest rewards are good enough to last you a few levels to the next reward), so having a Slicer pal to fund you makes it bearable to craft. I have never seen an augment slot on any gear (I'm level 41 now), so that half of Slicing has been unusable. I can see how people could set up multiple accounts and abuse Slicing. That is a problem. But this nerf didn't address that problem. The nerf may have effectively curtailed the abusers, but it also hit the normal players who didn't have 10 companions on Slicing missions 24/7. We're not all professional gold farmers. Perhaps a better solution is to retain the previous award levels but limit the number of missions per account.
  15. I can't get to High Security Lockdown. The choice on the elevator is greyed out (though I have quests there). Any idea why I can't choose that floor? Is there another way to get there?
