  1. It wouldn't be a new mode, it would be a warzone in the same rotation as the rest.
  2. Okay, so firstly this is an attack/defend map with two phases. The first phase Empire Attacks, Republic Defends. Second phase they switch places. The map is laid out with a massive fortress with three tiers of defense, ala voidstar. Unlike voidstar however these tiers of defense are not broken by planting a bomb - instead the attacking team has walkers like in the KOTET campaign, albeit themed for Empire/Republic and toned down to not be single handedly destroying teams. The attackers have access to 2 walkers, and when one dies it has 10 seconds to respawn. The walkers are the only things that can destroy the gates and move to the next tier of defense. To counter the walkers, pickups much like what exist in the uprisings will exist across the map for both teams to take advantage of, including RPGs which do massive damage to the walkers, and knock players down in the blast area, repair drones for use on the walkers, grenades for use on players, and maybe a few other pickups that could be interesting. One side wins when they make it to the end and destroy the final defense and a generator/command center of some sort faster than the other side can do the same.
  3. Now that we have the new second playthroughs of KOTFE/KOTET, I'd very much like to see this with the classics.
  4. Animations are important for making a class feel fun to play. For the most part Bioware, you have understood this and given each class wonderful animations over all the years of SWTOR. The current Flamethrower and Firestorm animation, while good looking, are both far too short. Flame burst and flame sweep are both less important abilities with no cooldown that last twice as long animation wise. Do what you did with Master Strike, Ravage, and the Vigilance/Vengeance replacements - make the animation last for the full GCD and maybe even longer and let us cancel out of it. Currently Firestorm and Flamethrower feel pathetic, weak. It doesn't feel like when I cast them I'm using my big class cooldown. Additionally: Firestorm and flamethrower currently leave behind a charred area on the ground. Liven that area up with fire instead of just leaving it smoldering, make it look like standing it will actually do some damage.

    New Game+

I just rerolled my marauder and my shadow after coming back only because the 12 exp. I was able to do light side shadow and dark side marauder while keeping both characters female to undo all the stupid **** I regretted doing by going faction negative. It would have been great to just go back and change the quest options and outcomes in a new game + option without having to spend the ~3mil I spent on both to get HK again, get all their companions to 10k/10k, and get treek for both as well as a mount at level 10 to speed up leveling.
  6. This is a thing I have been asking for for years now, but with 4.0 two of the largest hurdles have been solved (level scaling solves the issue with it not being 'fun' and 'engaging' on a second playthrough at level cap, and the new companion window solves the issue of companions you haven't gathered yet). With 4.0 I think it'd be really great for players who have completed the story, and even 'fresh roll 60's to have the optiont to go back and have a 'new game+' experience, getting a new version of each of the class quests they did and have the opportunity to go back and complete them again. Didn't like a choice you made? Go back and do it again! It would work best if it was something you could do time and again, for new and better rewards. Rolling a fresh character every time you want to see the story can be tedious, even on 12x exp, due to credit requirements on leveling a character as well as character slots available. I think a new game+ mode is something many players would enjoy, and an addition that wouldn't hurt those who wouldn't find enjoyment in it.
  7. You retain your affection from a previous playthrough, and every time you "reset" you lose access to companions outside of gathering/crafting until you unlock them again in the story, so you're talking having to do quite a few quests to get a companion back just to repeat a few conversations. It's not like affection is hard right now (Go to fleet, go to museum, buy 2 stacks of rank 1 gift of their favorite, get them to 6k go do a planet with them or buy some blue rank 5's and get them to 9k.) This would be an extremely ineffective way of 'farming affection' (a system that is already really easy and cheap to do.) As for infintie XP, also won't be an issue because you need access to your ship to reset, and if you reset before 50 then we won't even have to account for anything like scaling (which is a nice suggestion! I'll add it to the OP)
  8. I've been playing SWTOR since beta. Over that time I've played all 8 class stories, four of them twice. I played most of these in the first few months of the game, and since then haven't looked back. But I would enjoy to play through these stories again. The issue is that my only option for this is to roll an entirely new character, and in an MMO that's a large commitment, especially when my character slots on a server are full. Wouldn't it be nice if I could take my level 60 and go back through and replay all of the class quest content (which would include resetting Hutt Cartel and Revan main quests) with my already 60 character and be able to make different decisions? Here's what I'm thinking. A legacy unlock that you purchase once for all characters that will show up on your class ship. You can use it whenever and it will reset your class quest and companion quest progress to the beginning, letting you go back and make different decisions and replay the class stories, regain some of the unique armor and weapon models that are unavailable elsewhere, and enjoy the story again. All companions, excluding HK-51, and Treek would be locked (able to use as gathering/etc. but not active companions) until they're re-unlocked in the story. All affection will remain at its current level, and no gear on them will be lost. EDIT: Think of it as a new game + option. It would be pretty great if it also had a level scaling option to scale it up to level 50, or even 60 content within instanced areas. I know this may be a bit for Bioware to get working, but I think it'd make a great addition to the game. ~Swerto
  9. F2P launched, now it's time to put this at the top of the "to do" list Bioware.
  10. Comeon Bioware, F2P launch has arrived, now put this on the priority list, and I mean *high* on it.
