  1. I still enjoy the game a lot, but all my friends seem to have decided not to play it anymore. Been playing without them for 3~ months now, and its getting kind of stale, even though I have tried to make some new friends. Only so much you can do solo. lol Seems the "other game's" offer for account reinstatement was quite tempting to a lot of my friends. I mean in reality getting that much free stuff is a good deal I suppose. On top of that, time of the year where my job really gets busy, 6 pm - 6 am shifts. I think I may have to retire the game for now. D: I have had much fun in this game, and want to see where it goes, but atm I will have to take a break it seems after my sub runs out, with that maybe I can drag couple of friends back (kicking and screaming if I have to >.>).
  2. It is, got it today for my Qyzen. The "hilt" is a commando mod for a gun. So thats how that now works instead of a hilt.
  3. I like some of the changes with 1.2. Overall the legacy system is nice, was expecting a little bit more to work with. But its ok for starters. Most of it was stuff I expected. Expected some more speed boosts (with mount), minor gathering boosts or something though. Best thing I like about it, is getting class buffs when you buff yourself. Very handy for a solo-er, or even just starting a new character. That and the overall Presence bonuses (including +100 from Human) made my new Smugglers companion put in some serious work. As far as the event goes, I really enjoy it. If this is the direction that more World Events will go, should be interesting to see. Only thing I kind of iffy about is having to kill World Bosses that may or may not require a bigger party then a typical 5 man. Some servers seriously suffer in the population department, especially for level 50ers. But overall, great place to start. The legacy gear was kinda sad tho. I got like 4 boxes, and mailed one to my Smuggler. I used the weapon till I got some better mods at 23. It lasted longer then I expected, but I was kinda sad it didn't scale to level. I mean that was my first prediction like most peoples. I know I won't be grabbing any of the legacy gear from the daily commendation vendor though. Totally not worth 100 badges, sorry.
  4. Hah, true. Guess I had a brain fart. xD DIdn't really consider Kaliyo or Nadia outside of the human territory really, even though they are a different kind of human.
  5. I'd just go to Belsalvis and look then at the questing area for the dailies (Republic Wilderness Outpost). I can't say I am exactly sure if Belsalvis dailies start earlier or not. I usually waited until I got the breadcrumb starting quest in the shuttle bay. And if the Corellia ones open at just 50, ding 50 and go check it out on the fleet. Only thing I recall for certain is the Ilum dailies won't start until you finish your class quest. So, all in all, finish your story, get 50, and then look around for the dailies. If you can't start them, then you should probably do the Corellia story.
  6. Chances are it would change to the Republic look though. I mailed a couple things I bought on Imperial GTN to my Republic characters, and they all have completely different looks.
  7. Necessarily you don't have to get 10k affection to unlock it. Just finish their conversations, which end around 9.4k~ roughly. Some may be a bit earlier. Just thought I would mention this, even tho its not a huge difference. It still saves a couple of gifts. :/
  8. xD I got 50 on Belsalvis I think. Heroic quests give you almost way too much experience. But I saw your other thread on fearing of hurting your dailies. Just try to do the main quest on Corellia, the guy in the middle of the Spaceport before going outside starts it. You can skip the sidequests if you want. So you can just do the main quest for Corellia and your story quest and be fine for unlocking the dailies. Hope all goes well.
  9. All of the above really. If anything Flashpoints, and Heroic Quests. And maybe even with the world event at the moment. Queuing with world boss quests or something when they occur. Operations are kinda low on my scale, just because you are usually going to already be in a guild if you want this to occur. As Operations get easier though more informal groups occur, so thats where this would come in.
  10. I kind of struggled with this theory as well with the Chiss force users, not sayings it not possible. Just you don't see any in game, even if it fits in lore. Hence I have a Chiss Smuggler. I find her being a smuggler/outlaw far more easy to work with. It's not so big a jump that some freighter captain Chiss would end up working for the Republic because they pay her more then anything else. On the Jedi Knight story regarding Sith Purebloods: So its not that big a jump. Just my two cents.
  11. I really liked Zenith a lot too. Found him far more interesting then Iresso (though hes ok). His entire story doesn't really explain why he isn't available. I think honestly he will probably be used for the same sex options later on, dunno. As you find out in one of his conversations: But that aside, I just now noticed there is really no true alien love interests. As in looks wise, no twileks, or even Zabraks, Sith Purebloods, etc. All are human, Vector is still human in body, so yeah. :/
  12. Belsalvis unlocks after you complete Corellia I do believe. You pick it up in the shuttle bay. Pretty sure, because on a character I didn't finish their story, and just finished Corellia, and went back to see if I could maybe do the dailies, because I couldn't do Ilum yet. Corellia is where you will finish off your class story btw, and after Belsalvis. Ilum unlocks only after you finish class story. The dailies unlock as you complete the stages of the story in Ilum. As far as the new dailies, I'm not sure. You pick up the quest in the fleet, so I assume it might be after you finish Corellia. It's on a monitor beside the fat twilek guy, that gives you the Illum quest "Crystal Ball."
  13. I haven't had any drop yet. I assumed it was a low drop yet. But considering I've gotten 3 epics a day during dailies every day since 1.2. I have to say my luck is odd. Interesting that they drop from missions, I'll have to do some lately and see what comes up.
  14. Some small pictures here of the companions: http://dulfy.net/2012/04/16/rakghoul-pandemic-dynamic-event-guideupdated-daily/ Sadly there is only selected pool it seems. But so far, only gotten ones I can't use yet: 2x Elara 1x Quinn
  15. Personally I found Sniper to not have a very good survival rate at 40+. Squishy up close and on top of that, the damage output was questionable against a lot of mobs. Should be considered I was Marksman, and changed to Saboteur, or whatever the explosives tree is and that helped a lot, but was still odd. Have the same problem on Gunslinger as well. :/ Tried Scoundrel and Operative, and it worked A LOT better. It could also just be I was bad at playing Sniper though. xD edit: should be noted I REALLY wanted to like my Sniper. I mean, I loved the Imperial agent story and Sniper was fun with my friends. But I couldn't solo at all at higher levels, which turned out to be a burden for me since a lot of my friends quit.
