  1. My apologies, but no. I know you were not talking about me. I was referencing your comment about people quitting or putting the game down. You are describing what I am contemplating due to the cheating.
  2. I recently got a new computer after having to sell mine years ago and the first game I downloaded and installed was this one. I never loved MMO PvP other than this game. I used to destroy people in PvP, but lately I feel so bad at it and idk why. Just got out of a match where we destroyed a team on Yavin like 350-0 and one person said "they are dsync cheating and it is not even helping lol". I kindly asked what they meant, but they never replied. I found your post immediately... I am the person you just talked about. Why do I want to continue to pay $15 a month for a game that cannot even be played fairly?
  3. This isn't the correct name for a Ninja, but we were on Cademimu and I was DPS and the other sorc was a healer. He died by standing in the fires at the end like an idiot. The main boss only had half his health gone. I had to try to heal and protect the Tank, heal him, and dodge fire, all while being specced into madness! Needless to say, we won and I didn't even get a thanks, but instead, the good for nothing healer needed on the other willpower item and got it. DID NOT DESERVE IT!
  4. Requirements: 70 Valor - This high requirement makes sure that the player KNOWS PvP (if you don't know PvP by then, then god help you) and has dedication somewhat to PvP. 6 Months of being a Subscriber - Shows you are dedicated to this game. If a F2P wants to "troll" or abuse the system, they could without this requirement. This requirement would hopefully push out those who realize that messing with this system is not worth it. If you can think of any more, then please do say so! Abilities: 100 Stealth Level and a consistent ability that the Shadows and Assassins have where they are immune to battle for a few seconds. 200% speed - Allows a player to move around easier. /stuck moves them close to objectives - On maps like Voidstar and huttball, one can see where most of the action takes place, thus catching the ones who are ruining the game the most. For maps like Civil War and Hypergate, it will move one to the closest action. This can be adjusted. Tag - Allows the Police Player to tag a player who they believe to be breaking rules. At the end of a match, the player must fill out a form on EACH player they tagged, giving exact information as for why they tagged them. This also allows them to cancel tags they may have done in accident or take back. Filling out the paperwork for a ticket if you need an analogy. These tags will go straight to the PvP department as high priority and will be looked at first over normal reports. Reasons for tagging - Abusing bugs, hacking, and for minor infractions of poor choice of language. Players who purposely do something to hurt their team can be voted to kick off and the Police Players have nothing they can do about it. For example, not playing the strategy set, staying near base and leaving to leach medals, etc. If I can think of anything else, I will add it, and I may make a new thread with this information much readily available then throughout a whole thread. We just need to keep this bumped and available to others.
  5. Damn straight it is. >:[ Every time it comes up, I seriously throw a @#$%& fit. Oh well.
  6. I'm a hundred percent behind this. Many of the biggest gripes is that: (1) Not enough people to police the match. Think about real police. Are there enough to catch all the speeders? No, but there is enough to make me worry enough to not speed. They don't even need to be there to put enough fear into some so they don't do it. Kind of like the FBI. (2) They will report those who are innocent. This could be a problem - if the "police player" had powers. Honestly, two things should be done to this "Police Player". (1) Make them invisible to EVERYONE. No one could know this player was there, just like those cops hiddne behind signs. This should, keyword should, put the fear into some not to do it, and those who are foolish enough to think they aren't being watched, will fall. (2) Allow them to have a direct access to an available GM, but no other powers than that. Or if anything, "tag" a player, and make it where it can't be accidental, and this player is put on a "watch list". Make it where this position cannot be abused.
  7. The problem is the recruit PvP gear is not better than really good PvE gear. As one of our fellow players has stated. However, WH PvP gear will always out perform a player in good PvE gear. The other problem is when someone who isn't wearing either or and is causing a massive hole in the team. Honestly, the rule should only be allowed for Ranked. I love PvP as it is my favorite part of this game, but I realize some do not want hardcore PvP. I would for one add the expertise requirement to Ranked, and I know those in good PvE gear may cry foul. To prevent the risk of some fool ruining a ranked game, some also will be hurt. IF you really, really badly want to play with the big boys in PvP Ranked, then go get WH from unranked. I for one wouldn't hop into your HM Ops without the correct gear, would I?
  8. I think I might go along with this data. I will go into a warzone and count at the end of the WZ the classes for each team and count mirrors together. Maybe then we can see a certain fluctuation. I will do this for a month.
  9. Graph format. Best I could do: Smash is OP. From this data you can make two hypothesis. (1) More smash hits is because the skill is OP and does not require a skilled or geared player to do. (2) There are more Smash hits because of more Juggs. I'd be interested in helping with this data.
  10. Hopefully the Class would be neutral. WE CAN PLAY HUTTS :,D
  11. Remember people complaining about people using the Pre-order crystal. "NO BLACK ISNT A COLOR THIS IS DUMB" "I will kick any noob from my party who uses it." lol.

    MVP votes

No, absolutely not. Sometimes, I am the best on my team and we lost horribly due to a horrible group of players not caring to win. No one was MVP to me, so no one gets a vote.
  13. Game menu -> Preferences -> User Interface -> Conversation -> Uncheck both "Show conversation gain on mouseover" and "Show conversation alignment gain". This allows one to make a choice without the constant knowledge of dark or light side choices. I found it quite odd in a FP when people were asking: Light side or dark side. I was an agent and my duty is to finish the mission... What side is that? This is in no way bashing those who want to stick to only one side, just a hint for those who want to stick to a certain personality or character.
