  1. Not fixed. Stuck at 1/3 wkly. No credit given. Was this patched or not?
  2. My guild is leaving for Final Fantasy. I am sticking with Swtor. Me: 9 yrs of mmo guild officer experience Full Underworld Sage Healer Mostly Underworld Shadow Tank with 4 piece Underworld set bonus Mature with a serious, grown up job. I might miss 1 or 2 raid nights per month due to work issues. New guild must have HM TFB and SnV on farm. If the GM of your guild is less than 30 yrs old, please do not contact me. Please send me an in game mail. I won't be checking forums. Thank you. -Tyran
  3. Sounds awesome. Keep up the good work! Feels like the game is really hitting its stride!
  4. I will be on and can help. Full 72 gear except for a couple of 69 armorings for set bonus. Tyran - Sage Healer Send me an invite but I'll be looking for you forming the group. Thanks.
  5. I played played a lot this weekend. Did Makeb weekly on 2 toons. Did TC SM, SnV Sm, TFB hm and 3 HM FP on both my toons. Spent a lot of time on fleet crafting and using GTN. Even did Makeb on a lvl 50 alt and got him to 54. Never had any lag at all. I play on Jedi Covenant. Are you sure it's the game and not your PC or ISP? My pc is 3 yrs old and I have Time Warner Cable internet.
  6. Good riddance. Treat customers like dirt and wonder why your company fails to deliver profits. Blizzard isn't perfect but they treat their customers well and they are making money hand over fist. I have no hope that EA will change, though. They'll replace him with another vampire.
  7. Thanks, Dulfy, for another fantastic guide!!!
  8. This is not unique to swtor. I was a wow raider for 6 years; much of that as a raid leader. After the initial flurry of leveling and rep grinding when a new expansion hits, most players revert back to only logging in for raids.
  9. You can only make up your own mind to buy them or not. I'm a CE owner who has been subbed since launch, I will have lots of coins to spend. I will NOT be buying these. It won't make a difference but I will not support this shameless cash grab. I would urge all other players not to buy them but it won't matter. They'll learn soon enough how lotteries work. Regret for wasting so many cartel coins for nothing will be a good life lesson for 99% who are "unlucky".
  10. You need to rethink how you are handling these encounters. They are tuned for a solo player in mediocre gear. They should be challenging but doable. I have a level 50 Sage and a level 50 Shadow. Solo'd all missions fine. Most likely, you are not interrupting the boss.
  11. You really need some real world business experience. The amount of dev resources required will be far more expensive than any revenue it will generate. How much do you think a guild would spend on an ad? I wouldn't mind an in game mechanism for guild recruitment. That's a good idea. But thinking of generating any meaningful revenue from guilds paying to use it? Insignificant.
  12. This problem can be solved by your friend himself. You want the cartel points? They're available. Sub to the game.
  13. Don't shoot the messenger. Gary is the host. It's not humanly possible for 1 person to play all the games that GB covers on all their shows. Justin Lowe runs Darthhater.com. Larry Everett writes the weekly swtor column called Hyperspace Beacon for massively.com. They both play the game and are subbed. I agree with them. Many people I play with were also very dismayed when they watched Damien Schubert's GDC talk. The focus on Legacy is very bad strategic decision. There have already been several threads about this very topic and on what they should be focusing on instead. We can already play alts now. This brings nothing to the table for their most loyal subscribers. They got some breathing room with TFB but they should be focusing on more max level content released at a quicker pace. Give the pvp'ers something. Give the casual players something. Legacy to incentivize rolling alts? We already do that. We don't need incentives to repeat the content. We already can experience their "best stuff".
  14. I'm sure they have some event planned. Hope it's a good one.
