  1. This has been our experience as well. Especially if the JK/SG doing the guarding dies. Upon reviving the person who was guarded before cannot be guarded again, regardless of class.
  2. Get in touch with someone with Synthweave for str based heavy armor items.
  3. This is a bug. Artifice cannot craft Mods. Artifice crafts hilts, enhancements and crystals. Cybertech crafts mods, barrels and armoring. In the last beta, mods started showing up in the artifice trainers list for some reason but cannot be learned by artificers. Please bug this. The more of us that do the sooner it is likely to be seen as a problem and fixed.
  4. ummm... no. Getting blue recipes does not qualify you for the next set of recipes from your trainer. Skilling up does. (I feel like I may have just been trolled, but just in case someone else saw this and believed it.... )
  5. It was luck, One of our guildies has been able to get blue colored recipes from RE'ing blue colored crystals, all the way to artifact quality blue colored crystals. (purple recipes). Either that or this poor guy is bugged.
  6. This was true in beta, however as of the last beta release it had been fixed so that the only planetary economy was supposed to be the one on Nar Shaddaa which is a cross-faction GTN. The rest were supposed to be synched with the GTN on the stations... is this no longer true ? and can someone verify please, too much speculation. (If not I'll verify when I get home from work)
  7. So far I've managed to pick up schematics for orange gear from UT in a couple of cases and use those, my wife has Cybertech so we both use the mods in the orange gear we're wearing. I've RE'd to purples for the pieces of gear I can't get oranges for yet. i.e. bracers, belt, boots etc. So far it has worked well as it skills me up, they sell on the GTN and I'm able to make gear for my guild as well.
  8. I would bug this. There was an issue with this during beta.

This depends on if you mean Fanbois in the true meaning of the word as someone who will stand by a bad idea because of their love of the company, or if you mean it the way the rest of the people on the forums do which is: someone who enjoys this game or has an opinion that is different from your own.
  10. Some gear ( may only be crafted gear but I think I've seen drops with it) will have a slot marked "Item Modification" augments go there. most of the mod gear you see will only have slots for Armoring, Mod and Enhancement (sub Hilt/Barrel for Armoring on weapons) HTH

  12. Unless this changed from the last beta to live this isn't entirely correct. Artifice makes: Enhancements Hilts Cybertech makes: Mods Armoring Barrels this is for ALL classes. (yes that is a change that occured after the major stress test beta weekend) as I haven't gotten to my crew skills yet in live I'm leaving this with the disclaimer : this was the way it was at end of beta and may not still be true.
