  1. Just have a quick question regarding skipping the story: If you skip through KOTFE+ET, but then go back and replay the story and make different choices than the default skip ones, will that change the outcome of the story/bring back companions automatically killed?
  2. This question is mainly aimed toward a Developer (Thinking of you CharlesBoyd), but if any feedback could be provided it would be appreciated. I've been curious for a while now about how difficult it would be to revamp the game code so that when you choose to skip the story, the auto-choices made would reflect your Light/Dark Side Alignment rather than your Faction? (If your Alignment is Neutral, then it could be based on your Faction)
  3. So it's been something that I've been noticing while running things with my companions (Heroics, FPs, Eternal Championship). I started to do a run of Eternal Championship with a level 1 companion, and they couldn't heal me at all and so leveled them up to 20 thinking it was just their level. However despite being at level 20 now they could barely keep themselves alive, let alone me. Looking at our health bars being bolstered it showed that I had 118k health, whereas my companion only had 25k health, and all of their heals could only heal 8k and such. Likewise running Heroics with a tank companion, they would not be able to survive the assault, near-death within 5-10 seconds, and also had lower health than myself (On Belsavis they had roughly 13k health, whereas I had 15k). I did not do much with DPS companions, but I feel it would essentially have the same result.
  4. What is the plan for Earpieces, Implants, and Relics that you receive from the Command Crates? Given that for example a DPS could use Accuracy, Alacrity, or Critical depending on what they still need for stats.... it'd be rather cumbersome to not get the right one all the time (likewise with there being so many Relics in game, DPS also tend to only go with Focused Retribution and Serendipitous Assault). A solution I've thought of is since the PvE and PvP vendors will no longer have a purpose due to the removal of Data Crystals and Commodations. Keep in place at least one vendor, and when you would get an Earpiece/Implant/Relic from a Command Crate, have it be a Token that could be exchanged with the vendor for the desired type.
  5. @EricMusco In an earlier post answering a question, you mentioned that CXP gained from Operations will factor in the number of players running with you, which would imply that you would get more CXP from doing 16-man Operations as opposed to 8-man Operations. My question is can you fill us in with any information as to how Group Finder will work with 5.0? -Will they add a feature to queue for 16-man Operations alongside 8-man? (I can see where this would conflict because if you fill an 8-man before a 16-man, odds are the 8-man would queue first. But for groups that form the 16-man before queuing up in GF, then they could queue and still receive a bonus.) -Will Uprisings and their various difficulties be added to Group Finder? EDIT: Also would it be possible to get any information regarding the state of Crafting in 5.0. Such as will the levels be increased from 550 to 600? Will the current crafting materials received from Operations (Exotic Isotope Equalizers, Dark Matter Catalysts, etc.) remain or will they be replaced with new materials?
  6. A simple yet highly convenient update. The idea behind this is how tedious it is to constantly switch utilities between activities such as Solo Content, FPs, PvP, Raiding, and even inbetween boss fights during Raids. So my suggestion is that an update is implemented to allow us to preset a number of utility bars for quick swapping between activities to streamline the experience of utility usage. My example would be that for some fights, you'll want to have high DPS output, whereas in other fights you may want slightly more balance between DPS and mitigation (such as AoE's hitting hard in certain boss fight), and in PvP you would basically use a completely different utility setup. In short it would be like having different disciplines for utilities. 4 presets would probably work out the best, allowing for a DPS setup, a mitigation setup, a balanced setup, and a PvP setup. To switch you simply select 1/2/3/or 4, and hit Apply. To edit you'd click 1/2/3/or 4, hit Edit, select the Utilities you want for that preset, and hit confirm to apply the changes. With 5.0 apparently revamping the Utility system a bit, it would be a great opportunity to aso include this change with the update to make the quality-of-life that much better with regard to Utilities.
  7. It has been stated that if you were to start the KotFE story without having previously completed your character's Chapter 1-5 story that they would become unavailable to go back and complete. My question regarding that statement is: Will having not completed Chapters 1-5 have an impact on dialogue during cutscenes in KotFE that may reference past story plots had you actually completed them prior? (For example: You had completed the Makeb story, and during a cutscene there would be a reference to what you did during that story. But if you had not completed the Makeb story, that same reference would not be made as you did not complete that story.)
  8. Ah as it turns out I forgot to check the armor tier of that gear, and it's light armor...and I wanted it for my Guardian as dps gear, so it wouldn't work out :\
  9. I tried looking up the schematic boxes but I could only find the gear itself, and nothing schematic-related. :\
  10. Just a pretty simple question: Is it still possible to craft this armor, and if so where do you get the schematics? Nulla-gaudia
  11. This would be a grea addition, for both being able to replay the story and companion storylines. An interesting twist that could be added too would be to buff up the levels on the missions during the story to be level 50-55 (This is to balance it out and make it a challenge because by the end of your story you will probably already be level 50).
  12. It would be nice to be able to re-play the companion storylines, that way you could go through all the chats. It would also be interesting to have more companion story added as well, but perhaps with the option to romance in case you missed the earlier option (Likr if you missed the option back in chapter 1, you'll have a second chance at chapter 4/5).
  13. Anyone out there who wanted to romance with one of their companions, but missed out on the chance? I feel that there should be an option to go back and romance with that special companion. Perhaps in a future story/chapter exspansion there could be that option implemented into the story somehow. On a personal note I missed the chat option and ever since then I've felt as though my story...was not completely fulfilled, and I would prefer not to make a new toon just to go back and romance, it wouldn't feel right. Any opinions on this suggested update? (P.S. This is not asking for an option to divorce. This is asking for the option to romance in the case that you missed it.)
  14. I'm making this thread as a suggestion, and so not sure if this is the right forum. Anyone out there who wanted to romance with one of their companions, but missed out on the chance?
