Thanks everyone for the replies, much appreciated that I can let go of some steam on the forums (lol). Anyways I've thought of just doing Flashpoints and getting PvE gear but really, what is the point when expertise plays such a big role? I play a marauder and it is not fun to be a melee in this game, especially an undergeared one. I enjoy warzones, I enjoy PvP and always have in every game I've played, it's just not fun nor pleasing to play when I get 3-4 shot everytime I hop in, not only that no one wants to do a pre-made with an undergeared 50 they will have to carry.

Obviously didn't read my post, "rest" is not the correct term used here, I am facing level 50s who are geared with PvP gear while those level 50's (not all of them) got this gear and valor rank through stomping level 10-49's.

So I hit 50 like 2 weeks ago but my computer was complete crap, I played warzones with 5-10 badges, getting lucky enough to pick up 2 badges per game. I've spent these past 2 weeks putting together a new rig and it runs perfectly fine and I am able to play my 50 marauder again now. I really wanted to gear this 50 marauder up so I could PvP with him. Only issue I run into is that expertise plays SUCH a big part in PvP it's just irritating. People who hit 50 before they implanted the 50 bracket were able to get valor and commendations from curb stomping level 10-49's and now us fresh 50s are forced to pay the price and I literally do NO dmg on someone with expertise and I can get 3-4 shot by someone with expertise. I'm sure I'm not the only level 50 facing this issue. My question is what's the best way to gear now since it seems that I can't do any dmg nor gather any badges since I die so quickly even with the "bolster" buff which seems to do nothing.

Definitely go rage, annihilation is weak until the high 30's/early 40's since that's when you will grab annihilation itself. I've never played rage so I don't know a good spec but from what I hear it has good utility and damage.

I hit 50 as a marauder hoping that PvPing as a warrior class would be extremely fun... but now I've seen how weak marauders are. Before the 50's bracket it was alright as I was doing okay every game as annihilation freshly geared 50 against lower levels as they didn't have the expertise. Now I'm tossed into the 50's bracket with champion/battlemaster geared players and I can't even scratch them, it's gotten to the point that I am even tired of queuing as I get curb stomped every game regardless since expertise plays such a big part in how a marauder operates.
