  1. Hey folks! Interested in coming to Düsseldorf, Germany, so I can playtest your new stuff without having to move my fat, lazy butt across the Atlantic Ocean? Getting cheap and probably adulterated drinks while I'm looking how to use possible exploits to my advantage without getting you medieval on my poor soul? I could also bribe you with the second most acceptable spaghetti bolognese you'll ever eat. Otherwise there's surely some frozen pizza in the back of my freezer. And you might get lucky, there's even a decent chance that these were bought this year! Since you're already visiting the forbidden city of Cologne during Gamescom, you really have the incredible opportunity on your hand to puddle jump right to Düsseldorf. First the Oldtown of Düsseldorf for you, than the most astonishing heights of skyscraper city for me. I'm looking forward to share some booze with you soon. And oh yeah, playtest the game while you're sobering up comfortably on my semi-torned, foldable mattress. Don't hesitate, certain devs of certain pandas of a certain mmo already hinted their interest in participating in such an unique get together. But hey, we all know I would drop them for you guys
  2. A question of priorities. To be blunt, if you can't afford a game, you should be happy that you can still play a good portion of the game. To encourage people to sub for a game, that others are financing for you. Goldah spams because they want top earn money as well, regardless of flagships or whatever. T3-M4 alone has at least 30 guilds that already have a guild ship. One server alone. That should tell you something. Even casual players and small guilds can afford it. They just need longer, that's the nature of an expensive item. Wait, wait, wait. You don't pay 15$ a month (GTC'S would be even cheaper) because of the economics, but you would pay 200 bucks for a flagship? Yeah, sounds legit. Yeah, and in 3 months you're arguing, that this game is P2W, because everything affordable with CC's. If you're a small guild and can't afford it, get more men, If you don't want to, than it's your own choice, not Bioware's. PS: My guild had 10 contributors for the guild ship. We saved money in advance and were able to buy our ship instantly. And frankly, if you have even less people in your guild, you aren't supposed to buy it, and yet you still have a chance to earn enough money to buy it. You just need more time than bigger guilds. That's not unfair, it's the nature of things.

    Preise?

Massenmanis schwanken im Normalfall zwischen 420k und 450k, mit gelegentlichen, aber kurzen Ausreissern nach oben zu ca. 475k Exos relativ stabil bei ca. 30.000 Credits, plus minus 2.000
  4. My guess would be December. Looks like 2.10 mainly consists of class changes that were hold back in favor of GSH and the other gimmicks in 2.9. That's probably the reason why 2.10 is coming earlier than usual. 3.0 (and the expansion) will likely see big changes, which will need more time indeed. Of course it's possible that Bioware already took some time and they'll be done by November. But my gut says December with a pre-christmas release and a pre-order early access scheduled for mid-december.
  5. Why is it that so many people can't see this huge gap between "50 million" and "basically for free"? Lowering the cost of 50 million doesn't mean that other people/guilds get a free guild ship. A reasonable price would only mean that a reasonable amount of guilds can have a ship, without inflating the galaxy with them. 25-30 million would suffice.
  6. Almost as weird as the fact, that this tome was around since at least 1.5 years and nobody, absolutely NOBODY at Bioware felt obliged to tell the players, that they are wasting their time with something, that either was a leftover, or never had a meaning in the first place. People begged for months, that someone from Bioware could clear up the confusion, instead, some people at BW felt it was important, to be as mysterious as possible about it, to keep players digging for a secret, that never really existed. Nice to see, that finally someone at Bioware had some guts to spit it out. Too bad that it was 1.5 years too late and that a cantina event was needed to get this information. Would have been much easier if one dev would have made one post to clarify the situation, but i guess that would have been too easy.
  7. I have three Lv 55 sages. To put a cherry on top, i have a fourth sage at Lv 17. I just love the class and therefor i'm able to play a sage in the raids i do with my guild, despite having a lockout on my main due to running random raids as well.
  8. Same here. My amount of credits is fluctuating, depending on if i buy some fluff items, crafting materials, mods for alts, etc. My only rule is, that i'll try to never have less then 20 million. Those are my assets of last resort, if something has to be bought as fast as possible.
  9. The tome has been discussed for over a year. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=667577&highlight=ancient&page=19
  10. I wouldn't. 200$ are (currently) 145€. With 145€, i'm able to get at least 12-15 game time cards or in other words: 24-30 months of playing time. While i wouldn't get a Rodian or another exclusive species by dismissing such an offer (if Bioware ever decides to go for it), i always have the chance to call it a day if i ever decide that SWTOR and its forum doesn't entertain me anymore. Granted, i would begin to lose money after those 2 - 2.5 years (and an exclusive playable species), but since the MMO-world is a rather fast-moving one, and most MMO will never be safe after all, i stay on the side of caution and continue to buy a GTC every 2 months (or 2 GTC every 4 months, like i did in January). Of course, i can't say anything about good GTC offers in the United States, but here in Germany, there are many opportunities to get your hands on low-priced GTC's. 9.50€ (13.03$) for a 60 day-GTC was possibly the best price i ever took advantage upon regarding SWTOR. But back to topic, while i wouldn't take the offer, i'm sure there are some dedicated gamer, who would go for it. but i'm not sure that we're talking about sufficient numbers, that would justify the work on the exclusive and the potential loss of money over time after a lifetime subscriber reaches his break even point. Too many variables to be viable, at least for Bioware. Of course it's only an assumption on my part.
  11. 2,000 credits are nothing. You earn so much credits just by killing mobs. Quest rewards, earnings through crafting and selling crap to vendors not even counted. If you're playing on T3-M4, i'll give you 10 vaccines for free, if you stop the whining.
  12. Surely a legacy unlock, paid with cartel coins.
  13. And despite of this dependency on crits, you could make 10 millions or more on a single day by selling armorings. The introduction of the next gear set and the subsequent possibilty of obtaining schematics from 78 gear will make cybertech the cash-cow it used to be during the black-hole and dread guard-gear days.
