elara as companion. all gear up to date. I did get lucky with an epic chest trooper armor drop on my jedi, when he was runnibng balmora. e-amil it to me trooper. but, that aside.. used knockback to start, as u standing right next to him when fight starts.. alternated using cryo round, concussive round, and butte-strike of weapon to face, to inteuppt his big casts or heals.. I always stood right next to him... did taake a cpol of knockbacks myself.. but cryo round stopped his big nuke or big heal when I got knocked back., elara never let me drop below 75%, as I was taking the aggro and dmg. did pop the 20 min healing cooldown about 1/2 way thru, for insurance. and used 1 medpack coming out of being frozen myself once. was above 50%, but again used it for insurance. took.. 6 mins tops...

To be honest, the freaking elite battle droids guarding the relays were harder.. If Valis is a 10.. would rate angral about a 6 or 7.. sent kira in (she was GEARED).. wait for him to channel the big blast.. stasis.. force kick abotu 2 secs after statis because he starts to re-channel... saber ward.. pew pew.. call on the force about 4-5 secs after that saber ward ends.. saber ward again.. force kick as timer was up and he was about to channel the blast again.. pew pew.. pop a med pac.. he done... me still over 60% health, kira still alive..

and he was cake. interuppts and call on the force ftw. Hell, I had more trouble with the blasted elite droids guarding the relays. Interrupt missile blast is a MUST. Now it weas decently cool to kick Kira's butt, after I had geared her to the max for fighting Angral. And man was she appreciative. Afterwords, prep her with republic dancers outfit before you do the conversation on the ship. It was aa race to the bedroom for sure!!

yes it is the social vendor in coruscant. but. requires social 1. guess I schlepp over to reublic station, and power run esseles with some lvl 10-11 folkes needing help. -- sigh --

I've seen level 23-24 jedi with Kira carsen running around. Those jedi have Kira in a sweet looking gown instead of her droll jedi robes. this gown has white gloves, a closed neck with embroidery, etc. When does this geaar/gown come from? Rumor has it comes from the bonus quests on taris? Pleaase advise. Rynnyr

Mord, just a bit impatient i guess, given the snafu that was the Kira carsen quest bug. What aggravates me most is that this is the 2nd or 3rd companion bug/situation I've run into. Guess I need to back down on the kona bold coffee and sleep more than 3 hrs a night on the weekends. *grin* Rynnyr

to start over.. Elara had about 5600 out of 10000 on the affection scale. I had completed act 1, got promoted, and started on act 2 at tattoine. Not a bleeping thing from her at all. And I had the Stay Frosty bug as well. Soo.. decided to scrap the toon and start over. That makes 3 toons now I have chosen to delete due to companion quest bugs.. Jedi Knight due to Kira Trooper due to Elara Smuggler due to Risha -- sigh --

ok.. looks like my trooper at level 32 almost 33 is bugged.. a. stay frosty quest is hanging around. I failed at it on next to last light curtain. - cannot drop it - just sits there gray b. I got the promotion to captain... but do not have the title in my titles available. c. even tho I am into chapter 2, elara is stone cold nothing on chatting on the ship. No quest triangle or nothing.. -- sigh -- spent all weekend running the toon from level 18 or so to 32.. just to open up the elara quest stuff.. and nada.. zip. -- shakes head -- Being controversial, this is not a happy way to run a railroad.. or an MMO.

Here is where I am.. level 32 combat trooper.. captured tavis after doing class quest on alderan. also took down king ugly on alderan. went tthrough quest chain to get to corescant and get promoted to capt. now have quest at tattoine to rescue a deep SIS agent from imps. I do have the stay frosty quest bug.. grrr.. My point is.. nada, zip.. nothing, as far as conversation on the ship.. have had several "request to speak on ship" icons appear on elara's avatar when we questing. But I go to ship.. and nada.. Tl and DR.. after all thats, has elara quest bugged on me? if so.. grrr.. already had Kira bug on me too.. -- sigh --

ok.. just did the defector and the desert duel quest on tatooine.. lvl 27, working on sand demon... need to get lvl 28.. anyway, after the 3rd fail attempt on sanddemon, noticed kira had a "wants to talk on ship" icon.. so I go to the ship on tatoiine.. blast off.. and .. zip--zilch-nada... no intercom talk, no quests... when I clicked the intercom.. the screen flashed like it was going to start a conversation, but did not. to repeat.. on the JK sentinel I created during early access.. a. did the defector quest, and avoid all darkside responces (just this weekend) b. had her fess up to the council, but defended her through and through.. c. got 3 or 4 quests in a row on the ship.. d. the last quest on the ship was stealing the kiss.. -- grin-- e. did desert duel on tatooine f. tried sand demon 3 times,.. saw kira wanted to chat on ship, so went there.. g. got in orbit arouind tatooine.. h. and nothing.. no quest triangle over her head.. no responce via intercom.. i. TL/DR - looks like it bugged out on me..? Rynnyr PS - not averse to rerolling as playing thru it once makes it roll fatser the seciond time, but dang..
