  1. Just saw the movie aswell, I understand what you mean though I'm viewing it in a different light. I liked the movie. To me Kylo Ren is indeed not really a great villain we probably all expected, but to me he seems more like a lost boy who fell victim to the dark side. Thats not necessarily a bad thing. If I'm not mistaken there are only about 30 years between this movie and the previous one? So he's definitely young. They might have been aiming for a more tragic story for him with a background instead of just go " okay here's a new truely evil bad villain for you guys ". Who knows what lies ahead in his future.
  2. I like being able to pick their role, atleast I'm not forced to use a companion only because I needed him/her for his role. Now I can play with the one I actually WANT to play with. If you feel the role you assign doesnt fit the character then use their original role I only started playing again recently so I still have the original ones on my Juggernaut ( I'm level 56 atm). I heard you lose the old ones for new ones later on when you start on the new chapters at lvl 60. That is what worries me more tbh lol. I hope we get our old ones back cause I would hate them to be gone for good after having build them up and getting to know them from leveling up. Their personality is still the same aswell as I noticed from their talk on random occasions when I was playing the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion recently.
  3. I agree with all the things that were summed up and I also agree that they should focus on current state of the game before putting in alot of new content. The game needs to be more fun to play before people will stay for any new stuff or to attract new people.
  4. The only real solution to fix the entire visual part of gear without hindering minmaxing or other statpreferences would be to unattach the visual part from the actual looks on gear upto a certain level. Or in other words, create some kind of appearance interface wich lets you choose between all looks for each slot ( chest, gloves, boots, etc) from gear you once equiped and let that show instead of the looks from the gear you're wearing. Seen it before in other mmo's, just dont know if it could work in the swtor engine. Benefits: - You can choose however you look but still have armor limits since you need to equip it. ( no heavy armor looks for inquis, consulars for example) - People can collect all pieces of gear that drops or thats craftable to add the visual looks to their collection. - Crafters are still wanted for gear with aug slots etc . - The modding part on oranges and the need to swap/unequip things woudnt be affected all that much since people still got their idea on wich color crystals and stats they like most. But I'm sure I'm not the first with this idea :-)
  5. I agree, I didnt know it existed till I accidently bumped onto it Have to know it exists before you look around for it
  6. Hmm could be interesting Sounds abit like a bounty hunter thing but can work for all classes.
  7. LoL someone should make an swtor vid with this with a bunch of smugglers, with your approval ofc :-) The wookie part they can show a wookie with sound
  8. As some others, the only thing I'd like to see changed is the need to launch your ship anytime you go onboard. A fix could be that you can go on/off your ship without a loading screen anytime and only get the loading to space part of your ship once you choose to launch it on your bridge. I dont really mind the orbital stations and the shuttles as on some planets it would be weird to explain how all those player ships can be stationed there. Altho perhaps some shorter stages could be nice. Like the runway between your airlock of your ship to the elevator to the main level could be just having you exit your ship and finding you directly onto the main level of the station, coming outside an elevator there. I do NOT approve of removing the hangarbays tho, I find it cool to see my ship in the hangar and adds to the 'feeling' of having a real ship A good idea is to put vendors there for ship upgrades and other related stuff. And see npcs do maintenance on your ship or something.
  9. Very good point, my twi'lek jedi guardian in beta had a jedi robe with the hood down while for other races the same piece had a hood up.
  10. Take a look at Dark Age of Camelot mmo. Its been released ages ago with several expansions, it has a similar classsystem. You pick a starter basic class and then pick your real specific class. As far as I know you could never swap in that game either and I dont remember anyone ever even asking about it. I can understand people might regret choosing one AC but I think some people see the AC as they see their skill tree's and not as a entire different class. Would it have been different if people started with their AC at lvl 1 ? Would it have been normal to ask to swap then instead of rerolling? Would it have made any difference into finding out how a certain AC plays ?
  11. Yea would be nice to change even a little now and then, even if its just hairstyle/facial features
