I disagree scouts have a miniscule if not non existent advantage over the strike all they can do is run away and try to peck away at shields again while the strike gets a missile lock as you waste your burn

yes Im suprised as well strike fighter with a average pilot can take down a good pilot in a scout and gunship at the same time Ive had several matches where ive left without dying and had well over 10-15 kills and 30000 objective points

It is my opinion that using the Ion cannons are a power drain and effectively do nothing for you until leveled up. It also introduces to pilots who are already struggling as the case is above to multitasking while targeting while staying behind the enemy. This suggestion is an advanced tactic that personally in my own opinion has no edge over quad lasers and 1 default torp. While It would take to long to explain exactly how to fly and track correctly it will take time and watching educational videos to improve your skills sir best of luck and stay at it. It is extremely rewarding when you get good. my suggestion quad cannons and practice practice practice missile locks and hits

just now realized the whole reason turrets are not crash-into-able is because of suicide bombers (let us do what we want bio ware suicide has been a legitimate strategy!) Also gunships if they are (never seen never cared so far) is pretty unacceptable and is an obvious work around to an otherwise balanced set up you wont even be able to target them inside the turret (although its not hard to kill a turret so there is that

You have to realize the only reason some of these ships (scout and gunship) are even viable is because no one knows whats going on before its to late. The game has no depth if you put depth into it such as advanced awareness sounds and feels you completely eliminate the ability for a scout to kill a good strike fighter pilot

Match made in heaven. Personally you both die to my strike fighter lol its all about how you play. Also just something to remember even if they have 10% hull they may have 100% shields its when they have low hp that you get tunnel vision and waste to much weapon power and make mistakes. The simple answer is No it doesnt get better. DPS just sit there and do nothing but spam 12345678 and repeat. Tanks have to pay attention based on whats happening to them specifically. Que crying from DPS but it is always much harder and sometimes less fun to be a tank. Thats why you should always appreciate a good tank!

Only seen 3 people do this so far and they have been easy to take out. If your using a strike fighter power up your shields dive in on them and use the lock on to make em scatter if not invest in the heaviest hitting lasers you can and power to your weps. Will take a matter of seconds to destroy someone sitting still against heavy lasers or quad cannons.

No way man. I think you have the wrong idea about strike fighters. I still play the default striker and have not purchased any weapons or anything saving up thats all. I have already achieved "elite Ace" "Untouchable Ace" "Elite Wingman" among many other high ranking achievements that require you to get 10 or more kills without dying ect. My record is also 14 medals 15 kills 1 death 45000 dmg and 24000 objective. This is with the basic striker and I think I may have the quad cannons. Good piloting with F2 enabled scouts become literally less that bugs to squash and lol at the gunships with their giant cloud while you lock on wait till your in range and tear em up with F1 pressed. Trust me Strike is master race lol
