  1. I was not given early access. (because F you subscribers) So i watched the entire campaign on Youtube. With a player who chose 99% of the same choices i would have. Ironically, it was only a couple hours long. Now that i know the story of 9 episodes, i am not in any rush to get access to KotFE. So that means, even if they were to give early access to paying subscribers such as myself, i have a feeling that i would not want to complete it more than once. And if the entire expansion hinges on its main story and the ''Alliances'' stuff... this is the smallest expansion for an MMO i have ever heard of.
  2. Khem Val can DIAF as far as i am concerned. I do not yet have access to KotFE but i have watched the entirety of chapters 1 to 9 on Youtube. One of the options in a dialogue says ''i would replace some if i could'' that nobody ever chooses. I am going to choose that hoping i can PERMANENTLY get rid of Khem Val. I already hijinxed his mind into the Rakata mind prison, now all that is left is his body.OFF.MY.SHIP.
  3. I noticed this myself. I had various companions are varying levels of affection, from 6-8000 which would not have been enough for get all conversations. These were on class completed characters. Then when 4.0 hit, within 30 minutes i had logged into each one and completed their stories and got the presence bonus easily. What this guy/girl said is true. Complete chapter 1 and lots of companions will have dialogues and misisons for you. Same for chapters 2 and 3.
  4. Here is a point to really think about though - Having a choice REALLY matter: -You get a call on your ship to go to an orbiting space station and defuse a bomb. You have two options you can choose from, 1. defuse the bomb or 2. ignore the bomb. Defusing the bomb is the good option. Everyone lives, but in the process you LOSE your personal ship and any companions who you chose NOT to bring with you to defuse the bomb. Ignoring the bomb entirely, will cause it to explode and shower the planet in radioactive muck. This makes the planet uninhabitable and prevent you from ever EVER going to the surface. These are choice choices that REALLY matter, yes, but think about it. If you chose the first option, you save a bunch of people on the planet you will never meet, but at the cost of most of your companions and your ship. Now you are stranded on this planet, for the rest of SWTOR's life time. You are also severely hindered when it comes to crew missions and crafting with most of your companions dead. If you chose the second option and let the bomb go off, you are not unable to visit that planet. Ever. If that was a level 55-60 leveling planet, now you have to grind endless mobs and repeatable missions on the level 45-50 planet to get to 60. Now you understand why choices really CANT matter as much as you would like.
  5. The ONLY thing that changes with the whole concept of ''choices matter'' is dialogue/cuscene changes. Kill someone and some other random guy replaces his position, to do exactly what they would have done had you not killed them. Perhaps that guy you had the option to kill, is in control of a door you will eventually need to pass though? Yeah, if you save them, they open the door for you. You DONT save them, you stick your lightsaber into the doors controls and pop! the door opens. Save someone and you get a different set of dialogue. Perfect example is in the Sith Warrior storyline, where you can spare a group of Republic soldiers. Sparing them causes them to appear during the fight with some other random Sith. But you STILL fight that Sith. You have two options - like one in the KotFE story - where you can ignore something blowing up or attempt to stop it and save countless people you will never even see much less meet. It is just ''these people'' *waves hand* that you can save if you want to. Do you let it blow up or shut it down? What is the full end result at the conclusion? You move on to the next portion of the story and that is it. Sure, you may meet some people later on who will thank you if you shut down the reactor. The core story elements remain the same, but the path is just slightly different and the method used to get to your destination just differs slightly. Think of it this way, you need to go to X place in the town or city where you live. You can walk, ride a bike, drive a car or take public transport. You still leave your house. You still travel to the destination and you still arrive there. Those beats NEVER change. You are guaranteed to go through all three of those steps. How you get there is the only part that changes.
  6. Watching the third trailer for The Force Awakens, brought a question to my mind. Finn being a Jedi. Without the Jedi Order or any semblance of any kind of council of the Jedi, what determines if anyone is a effectively a 'Jedi'? Considering that after the Battle of Endor (which is what the movie is), Jedi were all but extinct. Finn could be just a regular guy attempting to use a lightsaber against a real Sith, really a lop sided duel since Kylo could slice him in half without a second thought. But if Finn DOES have force powers, and does follow the Light, does that automatically classify him as a Jedi or is that title more for a time when force users who know a lot more about the force, are present to grant him that title?
  7. I thought it was between episodes we got access to our companions?
  8. I do know that there is a credit limit on transfers. I do not know how much it is. Items in mail and on GTN also do not transfer. That is all i know.
  9. I took the easy route. I applied a time card so there is no need to cancel anything. When my time runs out as i mention below, bye bye SWTOR. See you sometime mid next year!
  10. No other server has anywhere near this many problems. I get it, its a busy and very popular server, but that does not excuse the sheer amount of problems that one server has.
  11. I dont have early access and the level cap without it, is level 60 PLUS 99.99% of a level. You can get to within 1 single XP point of leveling up to 61. But you cannot get that 1 point until your account is granted KotFE expansion.
  12. One of the very few benefits of NOT having early access. I get to learn all about the WRONG choices such as this poor guy. Sucks for him, but at least i learn from his mistake and many others in the next 6 days.
  13. Thanks for the hard work there K. Much appreciated.
