I see. this was helpful. Our role is more of a rogue based mindset. Damage mitigation w/o the stuns, you play with the idea of "keep this person alive" and nothing else? Hmm, well if you can reduce the damage that much, I guess your damage would be considered much more effective. A class that depends on cooldowns? Dunno. I'll stick it out, I'm still a low level. I chose guardian specifically beause I figured it would be like a warrior. My damage is really really weak. Where I have 40-50k damage for being in an entire BG smashing people the entire time... and other people have 100-120k. :\

You'd like powertech from the sound of it. Jet charge is similar to force leap. PVE is a breeze, (as it always should be, if you're bad at pve then there is something wrong with you). I'm talking about more of a PVP standpoint.

...On second thought, I might just stick to my other character.

hmm, shieldtech seems to really kick *** in huttball, but I didn't do so hot in the 3 cap one. Got a lot of self control and comebacks with the jet charge.

Jet Nova. I regret not going with Jet Black, but it wouldn't have matched my future alts =\ aura, jake, blue, black, dark, sergeant on infinity gate.

just specced shield tech, 689 aim, 627 endurance now. 41.55% damage reduction. you guys think its better to stack endurance or aim as a lowish level shieldtech? are you guys sacrificing stats for the tanking offhand? (5%shield chance, 20% shield absorb)?

want to compare our stats? 604 aim, 639 endurance, 8k hp, 4.2k armor, 40% damage reduction, 91% accuracy, 15.84% crit, ranged crit multiplier is at 50.00% Also, hows that shield tech spec in questing/pvp? what companion do you find to be the most useful, and why?

You aren't comparing launch #'s to the average population #'s, right? Because thats just stupid. Obviously during launch and when the game is brand new, people are going to want to play all the time. E: This is normal with all games. I'm not saying you're stupid, because I'm assuming you're new to gaming. Everyone has questions.

i'm really liking the sound of dual pistols. Tanking sounds like it would be nice, but the dual pistols just sounds way to cool. however, I don't want to fail at PVP because I went with merc. are mercs useful in both pve, and pvp? what about powertechs? are they useful in both pve and pvp? lmk, please. thank you!!! E: I'm not looking to heal anyone, except maybe myself. And in those situations where its me and 1 other person against multiple enemies (I love those situations)
