  1. Issue: Visual Bug Item: Volatile Conqueror's Lightsaber Description: The guard on this lightsaber is facing the wrong way. It needs to be rotated 90 degrees to the rear. (as it is, it clips with the character model when sheathed. https://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=940989&highlight=Volatile+Conqueror%27s+Lightsaber https://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=614636&highlight=volatile+conqueror%27s+lightsaber https://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=770424&highlight=volatile+conqueror%27s+lightsaber
  2. 9 years later and this lightsaber still needs adjusted.
  3. Naming Policy When creating a character or guild name for Star Wars: The Old Republic, it is encouraged that you select a name that reflects the theme of the game. The guidelines listed below outline the types of names that you can NOT use, and apply to both player or character names, as well as guild names. You may not use any names that violate the General Rules. This includes the use of names that are hateful, defamatory, racist, ethnically offensive, obscene, vulgar, sexually explicit, or any other language that is offensive in nature. You may not use names that are harassing or defamatory to other players or employees of EA, BioWare or LucasArts, e.g. EASUX, Timsretarded, and Biowaresux. You may not use names of any EA, BioWare, or LucasArts employee or service related to Star Wars: The Old Republic. You may not use names of copyrighted or trademarked characters, materials or products, e.g. Coca-Cola or Dr. Pepper. You may not use names from popular culture or media, e.g. Lady Gaga or George Lucas. You may not use names that are religiously or historically significant, e.g. Jesus, Winston Churchill. You may not use proper names of areas within Star Wars for character names. Guild names, however, MAY use the proper names of specific areas to help promote role-playing and realm pride, e.g. Defenders of Tython or Protectors of Hutta. You may not use proper names of non-player characters within Star Wars: The Old Republic, e.g. Darth Malgus, Satele Shan, Yoda, Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker. You may not use names containing titles or ranks within them, e.g. General Supertrooper, Captain Tim, Darth Timmy, Knight Wakey. You may not use names that refer to drugs or that are drug related. You may not use names that contain an inappropriate phrase, sentence or any fragment of a sentence or Leet speak, e.g. uberhaxer, xxspeederxx, lolface, rofl, Noobwhacker, TimmyF**k, kock, fuk. You may not use misspellings or alternative spellings of names that violate any of the above rules, e.g. Hamsolo, Yooda, DorthVader. You may not use gibberish names when creating character, e.g. ajsdu, rifndsw, qweszs. If you violate any part of the above Naming Policy you will either be assigned a new name, or given the option of changing the name. In addition to this, your account could incur a penalty up to and including account closure.
  4. I don't think it's being done for us at all. My thinking is it's easier to make a handful of cut and paste stats and slap them on some recolored armor than it is to make several different sets of mods.
  5. I had this problem a couple of days ago. Running the Launcher Repair Utility fixed it for me. Download and instructions here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-launcher-troubleshooting-guide/ Much faster than reloading the whole game but others have said in another thread that it didn't work for them.
  6. If not try this. I was having a similar issue after todays update. https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-launcher-troubleshooting-guide/ I just put the utility in the folder and ran it. Worked like a charm.
  7. Issue: Game says it's reinstalling. Date: 30June20 Details: I downloaded the update from today. 6.1.2a. When I hit the play button the load screen popped up (the one with the characters from Jedi Under Siege.) and froze. The blue icon at the bottom right that indicates 'loading' was not turning. It stayed like this for about 10 minutes until I had to use the task manager to close the process. I restarted the game and got to the character select screen but I now have the 'Quick Play' notice above my list of characters and the load indicator is reading 0.00% and the blue loading icon in the upper right upper right of the Quick Play notice is just spinning. It's been like this for about 20 minutes. Solutions Tried: Closing the game and restarting. Result, same as above-Quick Play notice with no progress. Checking the Server Status. Says my server is up and running. Going to Setting on the Launcher and repairing. The Repair button is greyed out and can't be clicked. Is anyone else having issues with this update? I played a few days ago and all was fine. EDIT: Running the Launcher Repair Utility seems to have fixed the issue. https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-launcher-troubleshooting-guide/
  8. Well that blows. I've always wondered why the CM eye options were only available to humans. Would like body tats for twi'leks and zabrak too. I wonder why it's such a pain in the arse to do. ( I know squat about modeling.)
  9. While I am a fan of the direct sale idea. It's never going to happen. Even if you (we) are willing to drop 20-30$ on a set of robes or a weapon (let alone 50$) for a 'special' lightsaber, we'll never make up for the people that are willing to buy half a dozen hyper-crates on the mere chance to get what they want. Unless they are outlawed (also not going to happen) we are stuck with the crates.
  10. 'I believe in the Democratization of Fear ...' best quote in the game. I miss this guy.
  11. A Companion Customization Terminal. Were you could create the look you like for any of your companions. It would bring in far more CC that the current companion customization system too. Would work just like the Player CT. New heads, body styles, scars, tat's, hair, skin tones, make-up, complexions, etc. I would say races, as well, but that might screw up some of the comp stories. i.e. Mako needs to be a cyborg in her story. Probably wouldn't work because of cut-scenes.
