  1. This has been bugging me for awhile. You stun a guy and go to use your knockback to put them in a hazard or knock them off a path on hutball - and can't. Once they're stunned they're also rooted in place till the stun ends for no explainable or sensible reason I can think of. If you use one of the longer stuns like force lift it also just breaks stun without knocking them back too. What the hell is up with that? It kind of... takes away from strategy really.
  2. Yeah I know how lightning works, trust me there were still a couple bugs in there for us. Bugs aren't guaranteed to happen 100% of the time, just cause you haven't experienced them doesn't mean they're not there. And that's not even the main point of the topic, its suppose to be how ridiculous some of these RNGs are. And weird. Have you noticed most level 50 snipers (or agents in general I guess) have the pvp weapon yet a lot of saber classes dont? Whats up with that. Hell I've gotten two of the main hand weapon tokens of the 4 I've gotten from those bags (and none of my companions can use it so its a useless token right now). Something is just up with the RNGs in some areas. And its annoying for hard modes that so often, when theoretically there's a 75% change of gear for a class actually playing to drop, somehow its always the 25% where it drops for a class not playing that actually happens.

Yeah just needs to be interrupted fast, and also we think the person who gets the first interrupt maybe the primary target for the next time he uses force lightning (which is usually as soon as the first interrupt expires 4 seconds later, at least thats how it worked for us). After we realized this our plan became me doing the first interrupt since I was sniper then just backing out of range of his force lightning and it seemed to work cause after that he would do something else rather than another consecutive force lightning aimed at me which is what happened a couple times before I started backing out of range.
  4. There's def some bugs in it man other than that, a couple times people just died instantly even without the force lightning **** even after we figured it out on the 1st or 2nd attempt. Once when we should've won it just killed everyone alive instantly at the same time and had him reset instead of going into the speech about needing to rest and ending the fight. As for the gear maybe you just have better luck, but my own personal experience from the hard modes after a decent few of them is that they just never drop gear for the 3 classes participating. I understand its an RNG but this **** luck just makes me annoyed they cant at least do a simple flag check and have bosses only RNG gear for the classes in the party doing it.
  5. When me and my friend 2 manned it at 50 it kept bugging out AFTER we killed him. Like wed get a huge fire dot right when he died and it would kill us both every time. The joke is the first time it did this the doors to the boss room stayed closed so we couldn't get to the console and end the flashpoint, so we had to reset the instance and do the entire thing over to complete it (and that time the same post-death super DOT happened again but at least the doors opened this time) That fight in general is just buggy, like lots of flashpoint bosses.

I've done a few hard modes now as a Sniper BT 4 or 5 times Incomplete Battle of Ilum (had to leave early myself) and just now completed Foundry after we wiped 10~ times on revan due to the bugs and you know what? Not once in any of them has the final boss dropped a token for a class actually in the group. It's always the one class missing. Like in Foundry just now HK dropped the offhand Aim pistol, and Revan dropped the Aim boots token. But we didn't have a BH. Same **** happens in BT When I didn't complete Ilum, apparently after I left and they got a BH to replace me the final boss when they got to him dropped the Agent helmet... but no agent was in the group anymore. It's like why the **** does this happen? Was it so hard for them to program a set of flags in that would tick off which classes are actually in the instance and from then on, when it came to bosses at least, only loot for those classes dropped? It's infuriating to spend time and (repair) money doing some of these HMs like Ilum and Foundry only have no one get anything usable from it. Every time. i dont know and ps foundry revan fight is bugged as hell gosh darn.
  7. Like, ridiculously "should I force quit the game and restart slow"? Makes doing PvP while on it a pain in the *** since you take minutes to load back in after every game. Twice I really did end up just closing the thing and relogging in from scratch to get back to the world.

I agree pvp would prob be more fun with tiers, but when it comes to scoundrels and ops its still a level 50 vs lvl 50 where I get killed in a couple seconds, which again no other class can do or even anything close to it. I know I'm a sniper, I recognize stealth classes are basically my counter, but that doesn't change the fact they can kill in the blink of an eye which no other class can do. @Ghend For straight up burst damage once in range no other class is anywhere near concealment since they can chain their stuff with basically no cooldowns and no cast times. Nowhere close to it. Nothing does near equivalent dps of that major "haha i stealthed you burst". And most of them at level 50 have seem to have more than one stun (and break) they can use so even if you break that first one, once they get close again...
  9. Watched the first 2 minutes or so. The player is level 50 with pvp equipment and of the first 5~ people he targeted during that first conflict, not a single was over 20. Multiple were level 10s. Not the best example I think most classes would **** in that scenario.
  10. I think its unfair to say sniper hits harder than any other class in the game when you have these *********** running around. Though for pure range classes yeah we probably hit harder than commandos since we're single target based vs their aoe base. Doesn't mean at medium range or close range other classes like sorcs and etc dont do on par with us. And even with luck getting crits speeding up stuff like ambush' cast time and the like, it's still easy for other classes to escape out of our range before we kill them if they're not distracted fighting someone else.
  11. You'd think this but I can actually hold my own against any other melee class that isn't a tank. Tanks now I admit I just get ****ed by them no questions asked, but that's not op cause they're meant to basically be meat shields and I can understand losing to them one on one.. Other ones its more of an actual battle if its pure 1v1 win some lose some. And even then, no other melee class can kill me in 3-4 seconds flat (unless its 2 or 3 v little ol me).
  12. As a sniper, tell me how I should fight them. My one stun break has a 2 minute cooldown, I have to be 100% STATIONARY to do any real damage at all due to my class mechanic making easy picking for these here rogues to just come behind me and kill me in a very very few seconds. Okay lets assume I break their first stun, cover pulse, and try to fight them. Well first off they have their own stun breaks (And seemingly more of them, iirc at least 2 possibly 3 not 100% sure here, and at least one of those has a much shorter CD than 2 minutes - which i think they can also spec down to 90 seconds that aside). So they break out of my cover pulse's small immobilization (not full stun) and come right back at me. I try sticky feet (not that it helps much since cover pulse doesnt send people far enough and since sticky isnt pure instant they can close that small area real fast again) and they break out of that too. They also seem to have more than one stun other than just debilitating strike so once they get to me again I die. Straight up. That second stun and I'm gone if I even managed to survive the first one at the start of this. And I don't have anywhere near the burst dps due to all my high damage abilities having cast times of 1.5-2.5 seconds. And I can't just chain them all together there's that cast time after each. It's rare you can get an ambush off and knock them back a reasonable distance with that due to its cast time and aforementioned things before they can do stun #2. Maybe if you use a flashbang and they dont have any stun breaks out to get rid of it. Though that has a hefty cooldown in and of itself
  13. Hmmm haven't really seen many on Empire side of Helm of Garush I don't understand how an afker can hit rank 60 faster than someone actually playing though. They would get no medals at all so how much valor do they even get? Especially if they're on the losing team more often than not since they're not playing.
  14. You want to know what other classes have to deal with? Look at your own list you posted. EVERYONE has to deal with that ****. But they cant kill other classes in the blink of an eye on a regular basis.
  15. I mention this in my own topic but it should not be possible for ANY class to kill another character, both at level 50, in the span of < 5 seconds. It just shouldn't. God forbid 2 of you guys show up at once cause I've gone from full health to dead in all of ONE second before when thats happened. A nerf is required in some way or some form. Period. Other classes need balancing too but this is the most blatantly obvious one atm.
