  1. click the RE button and it will show you what you can RE. I've not had any quest rewards show are RE-able, only items I've crafted.
  2. It's in the top right of your inventory. There is currently a bug, so please make sure you don't re stacks. It's not an issue with cybertech, but it is with some of the others.
  3. I'd want my orange items empty. I'm a trooper and strength wouldn't suit me. If the orange I like the look off has strength mods, I then have to pay to remove those. This is on top of how much it costs to buy/craft the aim mods. Not that I wouldn't do it. I'm a sucker for good looking items Just that if I saw an orange with strength mods more expensive than the same orange empty, it'd be the empty that wins. If there was an aim, depends on the mods in it and the price.
  4. Orange is a blank slate that you make into whatever you want using the mods that cybertech creates. It's basically a cosmetic version of the green/blue/purple. Orange is as good as the mods in it. Hence cybertech doesn't have orange items as nothing shows on the character. But your purple mods will be sought after to put in orange armourtech/synthweaving items.
  5. my trooper is Cybertech. I started out with cyber/slicing/scavange. I found that I need underworld to make any blue items. If you're ok with having an alt or GNT as a source of blue/purple craft items, you'll be fine. Otherwise, you need underworld
  6. wrong. it goes green ->blue -> purple. Trust me, I'm lvl 60 cybertechm blue is better then green and purple is better than blue. Have a look at torhead or darthhater if you want.
  7. That's what orange items are for But I don't think Cybertech gets orange items. Armourtech and synhtweaving I'd agree with you, but cybertech, green = RE or vendor trash. The only exception would be biochem. Health packs are always useful regardless of quality
  8. You can sell them to players of the oposing faction on the GNT on Nas Shada apparently.
  9. You can't make blue items until you have reverse engineered green ones into blue recipes. after that, the only point in making green is to level crafting as you don't gain anything else (loose money, no schematic to gain, etc)
  10. Cybertech new recipes drop from slicing, you don't get orange moddable stuff as far as I know.
  11. If it's blue, it's good and if it's purple it's very good. If what you craft is green, reverse engineer it till you can make the blue.
  12. You might want to report this in this forum: http://www.swtor.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=72
  13. http://www.swtor.com/blog/some-clarifications-item-modifications Orange aren't RE, you get them from Underworld trading.
  14. Devs have hinted these exist. Has anyone found any yet? I'm asking cause I love the Imperial Agent chest piece you get, but it's out classed by the commendation piece before you even get the class quest reward. So that got me thinking. Has anyone seen an orange version of this? Has anyone seen any orange version of items other than what they have green recipes for?
