  1. Hello everyone If you're a NM capable DPS and don't want to raid impside, Mango Team (formerly of Outbreak, now scattered in various guilds) is looking for two DPS to replace our former/missing members. We're flexible and can accommodate various roles, but it would be perfect if at least one DPS were ranged. We have been raiding since late days of 2.0 and have cleared all content on tier. In 5.0 we have cleared all NM ops and 8 and 16 man Tyth and Aivela&Esne HM. Raid days are tuesday/thursday/sunday 20:30-23:00 CET (give or take half an hour). If you're capable, interested and can commit to the schedule, please PM me here or whisper our leader Elektromonk on rep side.
  2. Hi We don't advertise NM sales as they are pricey and need some work to set up, but we have sold DP (including Dread Master), DF, TFB and SNV NM in the past few weeks. Feel free to PM me or sineoris here on the forum so we can talk details
  3. Hello everyone As the thread says, we're recruiting a dps to replace one of our members who got fed up with the game's direction. We raid tuesday/thursday/sunday from 20:00 CET to 23:00 CET. We're a Rep team, although we all have mirror classes on Imp, but rarely raid there. We primarily do NM ops with the occasional HM (sale runs or ToS and Rav when they're highlighted). Current "progression" in NM post 4.0 is all bosses killed except Brontes and Dread Council. There's no specific class requirements, but a slinger or some sort of a trooper would be most appreciated. Gear is not that big of an issue, but we do ask for experience in NM/HM ops. TS and Starparse are mandatory. If you are interested, post here or PM me and we'll talk. Thank you to all who took the time to read this.
  4. <Outbreak> formerly from ToFN, now on RE has two raiding teams (Mango and Twisted) that do NM content post 4.0. Mango, which I'm part of, has downed 4/4 EC NM, 5/5 TFB NM, 6/7 SnV NM (working on Styrak atm), 4/5 DF NM, 4/5 DP NM. Here are EC and TFB last bosses (can provide other videos if needed): http://youtube.com/embed/I-OieJIIJ3A?wmode=transparent http://youtube.com/embed/YhutqkGJmeI?wmode=transparent I can't speak for Twisted, but I believe they're working on Kephess (EC NM) right now.
  5. This is something that we think happened on the last try of the evening, but I wasn't sure (I'm tanking, so don't really watch tentacles). I was under the impression that the furious tantrum won't start until after 3rd set of tentacles was dead. I'm very grateful for the answers, guys What would you say was the safe percentage under which we shouldn't go?
  6. Hello everyone Last night we kept encountering something weird. After we killed 3rd set of tentacle boss entered furious tantrum and healed to 30%. Percentage he was on before he healed varies depending on which raid member you ask, but it couldn't be more than 23%. My question is - is this the way fight is supposed to go now? From what I remember from before 3.0, the boss would be 15-ish percent at that point and there wasn't any problem in killing it. Thanks to all who read this in, looking forward to getting some advice
  7. Wait a minute! How do you expect anyone to buy from us and not NGE if we match your price? We don't have nearly the reputation you guys do. Why would anyone buy a Lumia and not an iPhone if they were the same price?
  8. Thank you for your reply, we think we're cute too Now, seriously, what exactly is the point of this post? To say that we suck because we don't offer more runs? How does something like our little thread even enter your radar, let alone make you post here? Why do you spend your precious time posting here? Your guild must have sale runs scheduled every day, who cares if someone else tries to earn a credit or two? I honestly thought NGE was above such petty comments. Remember, this is just a video game, this server is dead and we could all be spending our time more productively. Wish you all the best!
  9. Hello everyone Mango team from Outbreak guild on the Tomb of Freedon Nadd killed Coratanni today. We're 9/10 now and looking forward to Revan. Here's a kill video: P.S. We have a girl tank, you can't see that often
  10. Hello everyone Let me first state that I love this fight despite all of its known and yet-to-be-discovered bugs. My raid team has returned to it after a couple weeks' break and I have a couple of questions concerning first phase: 1. How to manage Flame Grenade debuff in relation to Deck Guns? - Starting with the second set of Deck Guns, the raid often has to clear the debuff just before Deck Guns appear and it sometimes lead to people being stuck in water and unable to avoide them. Is it better to wait until the Deck Guns have appeared and just heal through it by then? 2. When is the best time to spawn the water? Is there a set interval? 3. Positioning? - Where would you recommend tanking the bird? I have seen various positions on different videos. Keeping that in mind, where would be the best positions for the rest of the group (we have 3 ranged and 1 melee dps)? Thank you everyone for reading this and I'm looking forward to suggestions
  11. Thanks a lot for the replies, guys I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed something strange about them, and will definitely apply the solutions suggested. All the best
  12. Yep, it's the wookie My problem is not dps stealing agro (they usually know that they need to focus the boss), it's the healer. Standing on top of the shuttle is a viable solution, but I'd rather not have to resort to it, since I didn't have the problem until recently. It's like they changed the ads' agro behavior in the meantime. Appreciate the answer, though. Could it be that I'm the only one having this much trouble on this boss? I'm most certainly not God's gift to tanking, but I never had this much trouble holding agro on the ads in any FPs/Ops I have tanked so far.
  13. Hi all I'm posting this thread hoping I'll get some pointers on how to deal with Captain Grimyk (2nd boss) and his ads, more precise - how to avoid them swarming the healer. I had no trouble with holding ads agro on either of my 3 tanks before 2.5 (or maybe 2.4), so I don't know if the FP was altered or my skills took a downward turn (both would not be very surprising). Now, I am aware how agro works in SWTOR (healers generate 0.5xagro and should really only get agro from unattacked mobs, taunts give you a certain percentage agro increase compared to previous highest agro). Previously, when fighting this boss, my aoe abilities did the trick and I could hold ads agro without trouble. But nowadays, not so much. As soon as they appear, they go straight for the healer, then I fire off 1 or 2 aoe attacks on them, then do the mass taunt and proceed to attack them (switching targets in the meantime). This should take care of them, but, more often than not, after 6s of taunt debuff, they proceed attacking the healer (which usually starts running, and then we get into a vicious circle of him running from the ads, me running after them and trying to get them back on me). This continues until dps kill the boss. I am sure I could be doing something different, but I have no idea what to do. I have tried switching guard to healer (which I hate having to do) and making everyone stack on boss, which sometimes helps, sometimes it doesn't. This is why I'm asking for your help and advice on dealing with this boss. I realize that almost everyone outgears this FP and the problem I'm having is not such a big deal, but it frustrates me to the point of dreading whenever I have to enter this FP as a tank. Thank you all for reading this and sorry for the large amount of text.
