I'm from Singapore and have always had around 200ms latency when playing SWTOR on West Coast servers (most of the time below 200ms) But recently I've been getting randomly fluctuating latency anywhere from 250 to 900 ms, making the game neigh unplayable.   2. what is up with that? I mean what kind of retarded stat combination is Def and Surge? Guardian tanks don't even have high crit to begin with. Why offer surge rating in Rakata gear?
  3. If it is possible for you to "hotfix" the Sith Corruption preference back then with a simple patch, why is is so difficult for you to patch it so that ALL UI Preferences are saved? It is very annoying when they keep getting reset even when changing zones. List of affected UI Preferences: 1) Chat box font size (keeps resetting to the default of 14) 2) Minimap zoom level (keeps resetting to maximum zoom) 3) Camera zoom level (keeps resetting to a point just behind the character) 4) Companion Quickslot Position (keeps resetting to the default of Bottom Center) 5) Minimap fade percentage (keeps resetting to the default of 30%) 6) Quickslot lock (keeps defaulting to unlocked even though the Lock Quickslots option is toggled) I'm VERY sure these are not difficult changes to make. Yes, they may not be game-breaking or urgent changes, but these are the little things that players find annoying. Please do something about it or at least provide some updates. THANK YOU
  4. Sure, these are great changes and it's definitely a good thing that you're listening to the community. However, all these UI preference changes would be for nothing if user UI preferences reset every time log in (or some times even when you change zones).

Here's what I personally feel cooldown UI should be like: Make it such that skills that are unusable (be it because of range or whatever) red-tinted, and skills that trigger a cooldown greyed out or darkened with a number counter on it to indicate how long left on the cooldown (similar to how most cooldown addons work in WoW). The present cooldown UI (as of patch 1.1.2) is terrible for classes that use focus or rage. It is nearly impossible to differentiate which abilities are usable since the cooldown UI basically overwhelms everything. We were better off using the old cooldown UI IMO.

  7. Allow players to channel their recovery abilities despite of DoT effects. I think I speak for a majority when I say that we want to be able to channel our recovery abilities the moment we are out of combat, and NOT sit on our asses to wait for DoT effects to wear off before being able to recover and move on. It wastes a lot of time especially at lower levels and you do not have a healing companion yet.
  8. I've just about had ENOUGH of DoT effects breaking the channeling. I mean it's fine if we can't use them IN combat, but once we're out of combat we want to be able to recover health/resource ASAP and carry on. Not sit around on our asses and wait for the stupid DoT to run out before being able to channel our recovery abilities. FIX THIS!

  10. Flight paths in WoW are the same as the taxis in SWTOR. This has nothing to do with orbital stations. Although I agree that the orbital stations make sense from a lore/logic standpoint, you're missing the point I'm trying to make.
  11. Why? I feel that they don't serve any purpose other than to frustrate people. Having to run through TWO additional areas before you get to the planet proper gets old really fast. Anyone else feel the same or have an idea why they implemented such a thing in the first place?
  12. So they give the Estimated Wait Time on the Server List. So they show you your Position in Queue while you are queueing. But where is the Estimated Wait Time while you are in queue?!
