  1. interrupting is always a good thing. the game is forcing you to learn how to do it, which is definitely a good thing. With this fight though, the main thing to watch for is her heal. I finished this fight a while back as a sage healer and having qyzen. I healed him through the damage and stopped her heals. Slowly but surely we knocked her out.
  2. Did anyone mention you have to run it in Admin mode? yeah? ok...
  3. i agree. but there's nothing you can do at the moment. when they change it (and i'm sure they will) it'll work. but for now, aim works like strength for him. If it makes you feel better to use strength, then go for it. I dont know if it'll work better or not, but if you try, let us know.
  4. There's also a very nice hooded, fully mod-able robe in the Esseles from one of the bosses. Though I know everyone was talking pants/skirts. Most of the options i've seen so far are skirts but there are some pants. Find a mod-able pair and your good to go. kinda like these here. just don't ask me where to get them. i have no idea.
  5. This is all true. They changed him to melee but kept his main stat as Aim. Don't ask me why. He's not broken, his main stat just doesn't jive anymore. Feed him Aim gear and give him Techblades to swing and you'll be good until they adjust it.
  6. While all that is true (to the previous poster), as a healer you will get into group quests, flashpoints (and operations later) much quicker, therefore, you can repeat these and boost your xp in this way and also get even more roles on good loots. the healer's glass is always half full.
  7. Look up Techblades (better cause they have +defense) or Techstaves made by Armstech. Pretty sure he can weild any of those at the proper levels. But I do remember getting a decent weapon upgrade for him from a quest in Taris or Nar Shadaa in the beta.
  8. My optimal build is exactly the same save for the second point in Egress, I would put that in Telekinetic Defense instead. but either way, pretty much the same. It's a great build.
  9. I do understand your dilemma. Your build is pretty much the same one I am going for and envision using at max level. That last point, I guess I would put into the speed boost addition to Force Shield. It's surprisingly useful with certain boss mechanics. But I have a good feeling we're going to be set as a class when all is said and done. And while the talents aren't all that "fun" the whole time, I think the payoff is in the rotation and maneuverability as a Seer. Besides, i think the other 40 points cover all the bases.
  10. They definitely are different, and to prove it, someone posted the contents of the Security Vendor (the Empire side) Security Key Vendor
  11. it seems like it's one of the more "pvp spec" talents because the "kill the healer first" strategy is still in full effect. (as it should be)
  12. Ahhhh.. I completely understand now. I says nothing of Healing Trance being a channeled spell (but that makes sense with it's name). Thanks for the explanation. I didn't reach that high in the talent tree in beta so i was curious. Sounds like it makes for a nice dynamic rotation.
  13. I guess i just don't understand why they wouldn't make them two different styles of spells in order to trigger two different procs. I assume this is what they wanted since they aren't going to overlook the talent tree spells at launch. Just thought maybe someone could clear up my curiosity and possibly tell me how they are different or are to be used in different scenarios. But as far as i can tell, it looks like you stack Rejuvenate on a few people and wait for the Conveyance procs, then use the one you get to benefit healing all around... and maybe when your low on Force, use Healing Trance to get the Resplendence proc...
  14. I have planned on and will continue to level my Sage Seer but I was looking at the talent tree and something struck me as odd. There are two talent-acquired spells in the Seer tree. They are.... Rejuvenate Instant Force: 30 Range: 30m Immediately heals a target for a 97 - 153, plus an additional 134 over 9 seconds. (you can then add on to this with more talent points into Conveyance and Force Shelter.) but then the second spell is... Healing Trance Instant Force: 40 Range: 30m Heals a target for 143 immediately and a further 143 per second for 3 seconds. (at higher levels it increases to 1083 healed and 1083 over 3 seconds) My main question, though, is why are we investing 5 talent points into attaining and then bolstering Rejuvenate and then 2 levels later getting Healing Trance? Then having to bolster that ability and possibly replace Rejuvenate completely? Why don't we get two abilities that complement each other for different situations/encounters instead of the same spell re-wrapped?
