  2. I use missile blast when I have to chase down runners below 20% in huttball. Also dont use railshot unless the target is below 30% otherwise its a waste of heat
  3. I can see extreme nightmare mode being one character per account. Once your character dies your account gets deleted till your next billing cycle:D. How about a mode that not only wipes your character but also places malware viruses to your pc or even melt your face?
  4. Pretty easy although my strategy is slightly different than yours . My group doesnt immediately stack up after Sav jumps back down because of his flying DOT that gets spread out to other people. Rather, we wait maybe a few seconds( 5 I think) before we stack up again. Other than that, its a pretty easy fight and the first droid boss has always been harder for me of the 3 boss encounters due to having some of the interrupts mistimed. Just remember to make sure your heat level is very stable before you hit the second phase and save SCG particularly for that phase. It makes it much easier
  5. what happened to the guild named "I thought she was lvl 18"? That one gave me a laugh everytime I see them. The other one was "Pewsor's pals" for anyone who is faimiliar with the people in Gauntlet of Kressh
  6. I normally save up supercharge and release it when everyone hits the consoles. That should be able to get pretty much everyone alive with rapid scan, healing scane, rapid scan.... Once he comes down rapid shot to build up supercharge and as much as you can kolto bomb when stacking under his legs
  7. This. Im not saying that tank companions should get like 40% bonus to armor like player tanks do but they could have been given something like 20% rather having none. Theres no real advantage in really using a tank companion over a dps comp. The 15% extra hp on the tank companion and shield procur isnt enough to offset the dpser who can deal damage twice as much
  8. yeah I saw that too. Blizz for me went from 20.5 k hp down to 18.2 k hp. What was the reasoning for lowering the hp bar for companions? It wasn even mentioned in the patch at all. So in order for us to return the companions to their original state PREPATCH we have to farm presence bonus on all our alt characters of different class? That doesnt make it right at all as tank companions depend on their hp alot more than healer and dps comps. I swear the patch is making things worse than better before

  10. Im a merc healer and was using Blizz as my tank companion. He only has one tank stance which is guard(it grants 20% to shield chance). The person I was also comparing it to was a fellow powertech tank. I also forgot to ask what kind of stances and buffs he uses. Again Im not saying companions should be on par with players otherwise people would not group anymore.
  11. nah not in par but I feel that the AC thingy needs a little buffing since thats pretty much the same AC number as my bounty hunter healer. Its just that being about to take 29% damage reduction vs a tank being able to take close to 60% is a huge difference.
  12. thanks for the replies. I am aware that players benefit better on the same gear than companions do but I didnt realize that a tank player has twice as much AC than a tank companion of the same class wearing the same thing. I did recall there were a few threads complaining about how squishy their tank companions are even with a good shield and guard stance on. I don't see many issues from players concerning companion healers and dps. I would still like to see someone do a chart graph on it
  13. I didnt see any thread on this but is there a thread comparing stats gained for companions of the same class wearing the same gear of a player of the same class? My tank companion was using full supreme commando columi gear but has an AC of just 4600, defense 15% and dmg reduction at 30% compared to a player commando who was wearing the same thing and has around 9000AC, defense 25% and dmg reduction of 55%. What pops out for me is that the amount of hp, shield chance and absortion wasnt too different between the player and companion wasnt too different with the player being about 10% higher on those aspects. I would like to see some post or test analysis of data also comparing dmg, healing and any other stat gains for companions vs players using the same gear and being the same class
