  1. Lokin's rakghoul model is not as bad as it could be. I was very excited about Lokin's transform ability. Sadly, he suffers from the same problem as the shape-shifter in Dragon Age 1. BioWare should take note. Shapeshifting should enhance crucial skills, not shut them down. He is meant to heal, but can't heal at all while in rakghoul form. Once I switch him back to human form, he's busy healing himself, instead of my character. For this reason, Lokin is the most gimped companion. This places him just above the ship droid in usefulness, but far behind the other healing companions.
  2. When you consider the confined areas and overall lack of exploration on each planet, Makeb should be a freebie. I realize it's a one-time payment, but I fear it could start a new trend. A new category gets added to the Cartel Shop labeled "Planets". It will cost you $20 worth of cartel shop coins to purchase. Then you pay for sections of a map. The new sections are exhaustion zones, until you buy more coins or spend a million credits. The expansion should be called "Rise of the Cartel Shop".
  3. Korriban would be especially interesting for Chapter 4. It's the closest thing to Mars, the planet of war. The reddish textures and sky create a scene that is beautiful and truly otherworldly. That place is so underutilized. It has the perfect atmosphere for pvp and dungeon crawling. I seriously doubt BioWare will use it because it's Empire only. Belsavis is out of the question. It's gotten way too much attention. It's bad enough having to visit for some of the dailies. Several companions complain about Hoth. It's the planet where nobody wants to be unless they have to. I really think chapter 4 deserves a new planet.
  4. Like any other "grind", there should be some reward for people's efforts, especially for those who have maxed out legacy. It's not rocket science, and certainly not a conspiracy theory.
  5. Exactly this^^ People somehow didn't grasp the problem. Thanks for the clarification.
  6. I think the Life Day Orb animation adds a noticeable amount of lag compared to consular meditation.
  7. Preferably what you suggest and much, much more, like gear that scales with your level or items with everlasting value. Players with high legacy levels have proven to be loyal customers. There's nothing for players that reached legacy 50 already.
  8. Planets with a more SWG-like layout could be added in the future, assuming there aren't technical limitations. The game is already so heavily instanced, so BioWare could work with the existing design and add instances that function like sandboxes. This would enable players to take a break from the storyline driven content. You can have apples and oranges in the same basket.
  9. a**hole is a very subjective term. Everyone has their own definition. I personally wouldn't call someone who was silent an a**hole, because that's not a behavior that annoys me. However, there are some things that do annoy me such as defending a ninja looter and criticizing the one who complains about it. People asking you personal questions and then avoiding you, if you're too private, like it has anything to do with SWTOR.
  10. People who say it's BioWare's fault are somewhat on target. All mmorpgs that use the trinity system have a relative shortage of tanks. I say it's somewhat their fault because they nerfed a potential solution that I've not seen in any other game, something that was innovative. Weren't tanking companions able to properly tank +4 heroics in beta? I heard they could do this with reasonable gear requirements. If so, this would be a valid reason to give them back their tanking ability. This probably sounds too far-fetched to most people, but I think it's an interesting thought.
  11. I agree with the op. The Empire armor has more pleasing colors and shapes. I mailed the TD-17A Imperator Helmet to my Republic character. It went from this http://tor.zamimg.com/torhead/uploads/images/10410.jpg To this http://tor.zamimg.com/torhead/uploads/images/11070.jpg
  12. Unlike other space missions, some of the damage is scripted. The shuttle you escort always losses hp when it's traveling through the choke point. The battleship turrets should be your top priority during the first half of the mission. In the second half, you should focus on the small ships because they can easily destroy the shuttle just before the timer runs out. You can also destroy the shuttle yourself, so avoid friendly fire. The enemy ships aren't likely to kill you, so keep shooting, while simultaneously firing missiles. While inside the choke point ( The two cliffs on each side ), there's this one battleship that flies across the top-left angle of your screen. You only have a few seconds to shoot it. It was often the only battleship that gave me trouble.
  13. Abyssins (not the cats, the ones in Star Wars ofc) An Abyssin sith sorcerer would rock. The Abyssins caught my imagination because of how they're portrayed throughout the game. Those things seem perfect for dark side characters. I cannot forget that mission on Korriban called, Creeping Hunger, because it's so, so creepy. I really wish there was a follow-up to the dark side completion.
  14. Class balancing is an ongoing process. When the level cap is raised, there will certainly be more rebalancing. What the OP should realize is that class balancing is always a priority. There is no permanent solution. If the goal is to make classes more "equal", you'll improve PVP, but degrade PVE. The classes are expected to fill different roles to be effective in PVE, but somehow remain the same, so there are no unfair advantages in PVP. Try coming up with a "permanent" solution.
