  1. As a returning player, I must admit I appreciate the scope of this game much more; it feels much more polished nowadays compared to launch, and the entire experience from start to finish is top-notch and should have been this way at launch. We now have: Legacy System Reputation and Factions Group Finder Achievements Collections Polish Endgame Content Commendation changes when levelling allows for better gearing, group finder and warzone changes allow for faster levelling and more experience, ranked warzones allow for more progression and so on. SWTOR at endgame actually has alot to offer at endgame which I look forward to: Gearing Characters Maximizing Valor Maximizing Social Dailies Achievements Unlocking Legacy Finishing Codex Datacron Hunting Gearing Companions I look forward to enjoying these aspects; I actually do like the gear treadmill in games like WoW, GW2 and SWTOR.
  2. Hardly comparable; FIFA, Madden, NHL etc. pump out the same crap over and over again, people buy it all like mindless zombies, play it for a few weeks then shelf it. Same goes for Call of Duty. I doubt that's the model SWTOR should be based on.
  3. According to the logic used by people in here, the most reasonable option would seem to be to force merge all remaining servers, since you claim transfers are the solution, but if everyone transfers the origin servers will be ghost-towns, so why not merge them as the OP is demanding? Server transfers are just a way to move the problem; it's like saying to someone complaining about a certain service to go to another provider, but the problem is that that same provider will still be in business since there will be tons of people who don't care, don't know or find the other providers to be just as lousy. It's like telling someone who complains about the path WoW is taking to play another game, when, essentially, the only games on the market are WoW-clones. Merge all servers according to language and types so we have 1-2 of each language and type.
  4. How can people not agree with having these perks account-wide? I mean, there is no argument against it at all. Some claim it is cheap and we should stop complaining, but that's not an argument, cheap is relative, and I've never had more than 120.000 credits when levelling up, and I can't be bothered wasting them on perks since I know they will be useless after reaching level 50. In other words, make them more expensive if you have to and then make them account-wide; the first character a person ever plays will most likely be forced to play the game as was intended, but flexibility will become successfully greater with each alt one makes, until you can choose to play the game entirely through space combat if you so wish and level up at a relatively decent rate.
  5. Are there any plans to allow us to respec our Companions? So that a traditional DPS, such as Kira, can be utilized as a healer, instead of us being forced into picking one particular Companion because of the role they have, whilst the rest rot in the ship.
  6. I'd love to see a CGI Series set in the Old Republic Era, the post-ROTJ Era and the Dark Times, between EP3 and EP4. On a Side note, why are the animated series, such as the Clone Wars TV Series, not made in the CGI Quality that is in the SWTOR Trailers of Deceived, Return, Hope etc.? I would totally pay to go see a movie made in the SW Universe with that quality.
  7. Will we be allowed to respec our companions, so that, for example, Kira can be used as a healer rather than DPS, or other DPS characters more efficiently used as tanks or healers? Because it is a real shame that only one companion is viable depending on your class in the elder game. Also, will we be allowed to add our companions to our Legacy Tree?
  8. Will we be allowed to respec our companions, or at least choose from a set of predetermined roles depending on class, so we can utilize whichever companion we like instead of being forced into picking one or the other?
  9. Please allow us to respec our companions; we already have the ability to gear them up, why not allow us to specialize them to our liking so we can utilize whichever one we like, perhaps I want to run around with my droid instead of my traditional healing companion, or my warrior companion spec'd as DPS rather than tanking, instead of my traditional tanking companion. It's convenient, it allows us to play with whichever companion we prefer and gives us greater freedom. When I mention respec I mean either give us the ability to spec our companions fully, as we do with our main characters, or allow us to choose from a set of predetermined roles depending on class, i.e smuggler; DPS or Healing, warrior; Tank or DPS, Consular; DPS or Healer etc. Also, I would like it if we were allowed to add companions into our Family Tree in the Legacy System, that would definitely improve roleplaying and integrate us more with our companions.
  10. What this game needed was to be Guild Wars 2 in Space, rather than WoW in Space. Imagine the kind of dynamic, mass-player, dynamic events like the , except in Star Wars form on, say, Dromund Kaas, against a cadre of Sith Lords, or against a Krayt Dragon in the Dune Sea, or against a gang in Nar Shaddaa. Imagine WvWvW in Star Wars, fighting for a planet like, for example, Alderaan, Balmorra or Corellia, with potentially hundreds of lightsabers swinging against eachother, with hundreds of Troopers on both sides rushing and firing their rifles. Imagine Flashpoints and Operations with the fluid, fast-paced, visceral combat of Guild Wars 2, e.g fighting the Infernal One in EV, or the False Emperor with bursts of lightning, chunks of rock, quakes and other powers flying away. I still play TOR, but I only do so for the storyline. My goal is to finish the story of each class and bringing my characters up to 50, aswell as doing the Flashpoints and Operations once each on both factions, but after that, I'm done with this game, as I'm truly tired and exhausted by the mindnumbingly boring gear treadmill which was imported from WoW. When I think of what could have been, I weep for this game. The trailers we saw could have been representative of the gameplay, had this been GW2 in Space.

  12. I totally agree with implementing Companion dailies and weekly quests. At least I'd like to be able to talk to my companion whenever I want to do so, even if it's the same dialogue over and over, like in Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Knights of the Old Republic.
  13. Yes, the story is definitely one of the main reasons I play this game and I enjoyed the Sith Warrior one thouroughly. If what you're looking for is mainly story, I recommend doing the Operations in Story Mode and Flashpoints in Normal Mode. The Foundry is a very story-heavy one, and, without spoiling anything, it has alot of connections to the Knights of the Old Republic, and one of the SW:TOR novels. The class story will continue in patches, though, and last I heard, at the Guild Summit in March, it will come in a major content patch later this year.
  14. Achievement System - This would make the most sense out of all things, to have achievements shared across your legacy. I would also increase roleplay functions and combine it with some form of Guild Legacy; for example, the Guild would unlock the Capital Ship, which is a work-in-progress as far as I know, and you would receive your own, personal section in the Guild Capital Ship after reaching a certain level in your personal legacy, where you would be able to display your trophies, accolades, achievements, feats, titles and artifacts, similar to the Hall of Monuments in Guild Wars 1. Legacy has so much more potential than just being another pointless grind for XP-buffs, I hope BioWare doesn't spoil it, these kinds of game systems are a part of the kind of creativity that this genre desperately needs.
