  1. I recently found a pic of a Mirialan with a beard taken in game which I found puzzling as I know only Humans can have them which also got me thinking as to why that is? Clearly Sith won't have them due to their facial tendrils and Nautolans can't due them being sea dwellers, but I don't know why the likes of Chiss and Mirialans since they are pretty much humans with a different skin tone. the afore mentioned pic is found here: https://imgur.com/eLxVxRo with the website about the character can be found here: https://thestarwarsrp.com/index.php?threads/yuul-tik.97719/ Lastly the more I think about it I'm reminded of the Mandarin from Marvel comics and how he's often depicted with green skin and how that look would be awesome for a Sith character. https://vegalleries.com/sites/default/files/art/product_images/manual/2022/febironman22017.jpg
  2. It would be a nightmare yes, but its one that would be worth it if they were willing to put in the effort which from your assumption, they aren't hence why it feels half-hearted rather than game changing.
  3. When the option of choosing a second Combat Style aka a second class option was offered to me I assumed that I would have access to both sets of powers at the same time i.e. be to play as a Sith Warrior and choose Inquisitor as my second choice and be able to use their powers in conjunction with the warriors in the same way you can when you activate Heroic Moment which allows a non-Force User to use the abilities of both the Jedi and Sith. Yet upon doing just that then checking the HUD I noticed that I needed to actually switch my powers from one to the other which defeats the whole point of choosing a section option to begin with. Considering the ability to play through the Inquisitor story while using the powers of the Warrior is really fun since your Lightsaber actually has a purpose, not being able to Force Jump into a bunch of enemies and then hitting them with a ground smash and following that up with a AOE lightning blast is a opportunity I feel has been completely missed. And yes I know LOS hasn't officially been released yet, but if what I mentioned isn't allowed, my point of it being a mission opportunity will be justified, especially the same can be said for the Non-Force User powers such as being able to play as a Vanguard Shield Specialist while having access to the Commando Gunnery powers. And while we are on the subject of the Vanguard, I think the option of being able to play as the afore mentioned Shield Specialist but equip a Blaster Cannon rather than a Rifle should be a option. Considering the Cannon should have been the main weapon for the Vanguard from day one due to a Vanguard being able to Tank and the Commando being able to be a Healer, giving the "Field Medic" a Cannon is stupid as they should be, particularly in Flashpoints and Operations, mobile while the Shield Specialist should be standing in one place dealing out the damage and keeping the enemy focus on them while the Command keeps them healed in the same way their Companion would. Also the Commando originally had the option to either equip a Rifle or a Cannon while the Vanguard could only have the Rifle since the Cannon wasn't originally received until you chose that Advanced Class. The one good thing that has come from this new setup is that you can now fully fore-fill your Boba Fett/Din Djarin fantasties and play as a Bounty Hunter and use a Rifle considering the most recent BH armour bundle comes with a rifle that you currently can't use making the purchase pointless until the release of Legacy. To be honest they should have saved the release of that armour until they released Legacy of the Sith as it may have got them more bundle sales than it currently has. Whether or not the right people will view this and make the changes I suggested before the official release is anyone's guess. Though I'm not going to hold my breath as I fear I'll pass out long before it happens but we can but hope they see that what I'm saying has merit considering it has the chance of totally shaking things up in the game aswell as the possibility of bringing people back to the game who are still on the fence despite what is already known about the next update.
  4. While recently replaying the Sith Warrior story as a Sith I was once again thought about the missed opportunity of more impact story wise the players choice of species could have been. The reason for this is down to two side interactions with other Sith who mentioned me having the red marks, those being Assistant Overseer Loun and Lord Abaron. So with this in mind it got me wondering why something similar wasn't added to Kalikori Village should you decide to play as a Twi'lek which upon mentioning it to my Guild I was informed that the Sith interactions I mentioned weren't part of the game when it came out which further made me wonder about the Twi'leks along with other species for example should you decide to play as a Chiss Force User considering its looked on as a inferior trait. I'm not saying its something that can easily be added, I'm simply asking why it wasn't considered to begin with and why its still not part of the game.
  5. I was wondering if there are any pictures of what the ship looked like in its prime prior to it crashing on the surface of Hoth because I always wonder whenever I see it.
  6. I recently saw the new armour set for the Bounty Hunter along with the bundle that includes a rifle, both of which are no doubt based on the TV show. My question is why put a rifle in the bundle considering the BH can't use one? It seems like a complete waste of cartel coins if all you can do with the rifle is eith give it to one of your other characters or sell it on the GTN. I think the problem is that when the game came out in 2011 they based the BH on Jango Fett in the same way they made everyone in Clan Fett a New Zealander because the actor playing him is one. So based on that they gave the BH two pistols because thats what he uses forgeting that other Bounty Hunters and Mandalorians use rifles. Its not like they can't change the game to allow the Powertech to use a rifle instead of a single pistol which never made any sense to me at all. Considering they've already broke the mirroring by haveing a Sniper Agent and Commando Trooper who as you know use as Sniper Rifle and Blaster Cannon respectively. So I don't see why they can't change the BH Powertech to have a rilfe since unlike the Smuggler Scoundrel, doesn't have a cloaking device. To sum it up. I think its stupd to release a bundle for a specific class yet only allow said class to use have of the bundle considering most players will buy the bundle because of the TV show.
  7. What I find funniest about how Bounty Hunters not having the ability to use a Blaster Rifle yet is that when Kylo Ren's Cross Guard Lightsaber came out, not long after you could get them in SWTOR. So taking that into account, its surprising that they haven't updated the BH to use them considering Boba Fett carried one back in ROTJ and in the new show The Mandalorianm, the main character carries one also. Speaking of classes not being able to use the weapons you would think they would. I have a similar issue with the Trooper Vanguard and Commando in that I feel they gave the wrong advanced class the Blaster Cannon. As mentioned in another post about BH Powertechs Tanking, the Trooper Vanguard Shield Specialist is a Tank yet only has access to a Blaster Rifle instead of the Blaster Cannon which makes far more sense. In the same vein the Commando has the ability to be a Healer so giving them the Rifle over the Cannon makes far more sense as Combat Medics should be mobile on the battlefiled. Lastly the post from the Devs about why they give each class specific weapons so people can tell what they are at a glance is Bullsh*t stupid considering you aren't limited to class specific clothing meaning that alone blows holes in that whole statement as mentoned by another poster.
  8. My biggest problem with the Trooper is that they give the Commando the ability to use both the Cannon and the Rifle while limiting the Vanguard to only the Rifle. It makes no sense to me when the Commando has the ability to be a Combat Medic while the Vanguard has the ability of being a Tank when choosing Sheld Specialist diciplie. When I think Tank I think big gun and when I think Combat Medic I think lightly armoured carrying a SMG in order to be mobile enough to carry medical supplies around the battlefield. So with that in mind why would a Combat Medic carry the game equivalent of a Minigun or M60. Personally I think both subclasses should be allowed to use both the Rifle and the Cannon or if they don't want to do that, then switch the cannon usage to the Vanguard and the rifle to the Commando. Speaking of Commando or Special Forces, most are made up of individuals who do specific jobs such as Team Medic, Scout, Heavy Weapons and Tech Specialist. Note the roles of Team Medic and Heavy Weapons Specialist specifically and how they are two completely diifferent roles. You just need to look at the original Havok Squad with Needles being the Team Medic, a relatively small Mirialan male and not a big muscular male who you'd normally seeing carrying a large weapon.
  9. I recently got the Kallig mask on my new Sorcerer which upon wearing it made the hood of my Eradicator Warsuit Curiass disappear much to my annoyance due to the picture of Darth Kallig in the Codex showing him wearing a hood over his mask. The armour he seems to be wearing is the Destroyer armour which I know has a helmet and none working hood, but its clear it did at some point due to the picture so I was hoping that we could get more masks in the future that worked with hoods as they look cool.
  10. We see them and interact with them around the galaxy and even have one as a companion, but wouldn't it be cool to be able to play as one? I'm sure I'm not the only one who has looked at a Devaronian an thought "I'd love the option to play as one of them." We also know from the EU that there have been notable Force Users among the species also such as Darth Maladi and Darth Reave who was part of Darth Krayt's One Sith and not forgetting Master Sian Jeisel who was around during the time of the prequels. Which makes me wonder why they haven't been added as a playable species yet as I know I would choose them as a option if only to have a true Devilish character in both look and name. Anyone else agree?
  11. When looking at the list of companions that have returned, it does seem like they have brought more back from certain classes than others, for example the Jedi Knight only has T7 while the Trooper is only missing Elara. On the Imperial side the Agent has three of their companions back and the other Imperial classes have atleast one returning so it will be interesting to see who they do bring back in future episodes and if they bring back your characters love interest.
  12. I'd like to see more companion customisations period as there only acouple for the likes of Vik Tanno and Yuun. I would also like to see these customisations available on the Cartel Bazaar and not just in packs as its frustrating when you have to buy so many and not get one.
  13. That was an impressive piece of writing full of emotion and laughter. I could visualize what was going on at each point and both felt sadness and joy when the story had such emotions present, especially when you have to make the decision on whether to save Jaxo or save the soldiers because it really is a tough decision to make. I commend you for your writing ability and loved how you intersected the Flashpoints and the companion interactions and past meetings like Jorgan and Iresso. I look forward to reading about Makeb, Rishi and Yavin 4, mainly due the fact I'm at the point with my current Trooper which is another reason I enjoyed this story as its all still fresh in my head from my playthrough. I must add though that when I was reading the first part of the attack on the Gauntlet when you have Yuun as your companion, it reminded me alot of my first playthrough on my first Trooper Vanguard as I found a nice balance between Yuun's melee abilities and my own Shield Specialist abilities. Unfortunately I couldn't recreate the same balance between my Jedi and Sergeant Rusk, but I guess that was down the roles being reversed and Sgt Rusk not being a Tank. All in all I enjoyed your story immensely so well done.
  14. If you want you M1-4X to match the standard Havoc Squad colours I suggest this mod for him. http://tor-fashion.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/M1-4x-3.png Its available on the GTN. I would point out though that 4X isn't the only one that doesn't make the standard colours, Sgt Yuun's default armour is blue and white
  15. Introducing Major Zaran'adan Stymphalian and the rest of Havoc Squad. http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s189/DarkLordDiablos/Havoc%20Squad_zpstu8rlamb.png While looking at the other pictures aswell as noticing how people are using the additional outfit editor, it has made Me wonder whether the addition of a fully customisation add on would be cool. As in starting with a blank version of your chosen outfit and colouring it your own way. For example imagine having the ability to add a camo pattern to your Trooper armour or being able to put the Hazard Squad logo on any chest plate as you know only certain ones have it. I think it would make an interesting addition and allow you to make something unique that you could be really proud off. What do you all think about it?
