  1. A problem that could also be solved by trying to make it at least better than Jump to Lightspeed which was released a decade prior, instead of the current hackjob of their on-rails setup.
  2. You all are arguing the "fault" when you need to be pragmatic and start arguing the lack of reward parity. Have AFKers always existed? Yes. Are they FAR more incentivized to do so after 7.0? Most certainly. If you're looking for the moral high ground, then congratulations - you have it. Unfortunately, that changes nothing, especially when CSR enforcement is on what can only be described as life support. If you want to substantially reduce the AFKers, you need to improve the rewards for other game modes relative to their time and difficulty. Or just sit here and complain while your matches are ruined. Your choice.
  3. You can hate the throwing all you like - I'm right there with you. However, the problem is EXACTLY the rewards. They're simply far too easy to pass up and reward gear higher than the greater effort Conquest ****. Not only that, but you can keep repeating it to feed any alts, who then go on to repeat the cycle. The lack of parity is a real issue, and if they solved it by rewarding relative amounts, then GSF would be relegated to the corner it was before, with the people who enjoy playing it. The GSF regulars are so happy to farm, but don't want the negatives that come with the "flavor of the month" efficient farming status. The queues are certainly popping for it as a result, and even with the shenanigans there's still more "good" competitive matches than there were before.
  4. Here's what I've noticed. It appears to auto-claim the CC reward if there's no non-sub reward present at the same rank (this may be true for ANY sub reward if a non-sub reward isn't present). If the CC/sub reward is in combination with a non-sub reward, it doesn't appear to claim automatically.
  5. I believe the gold level pirates have a cast ability that significantly improves mobs around it. If you can lock down that mob, the rest become much easier.
  6. Yeah, very few are saying it's "hard". They're saying it's tedious - and they're not wrong.
  7. Too bad this isn't an MMO. It's a story driven single player game that lets you group with others if you like. Sorry, but that's what it's become over the years and if you flip the switch expect a reaction. Now, maybe this draws other players back again and offsets it. We'll find out soon enough. Then again, this isn't the first nerf to comps they've done and the last time didn't end well.
  8. I remain unable to claim SCORPIO from the companion terminal. When I access it, it tells me that I have successfully reclaimed her, however she doesn't appear, and is still locked out in the companion list. I have opened THREE CSR tickets to resolve this, and I get canned responses about not having completed the class quest "Heist" to receive her. Clearly, as this is a class quest, and she's in the terminal to start with and I have completed all class quests would indicate this is obviously NOT the case. Each time, the CSR closes the ticket without getting additional information. This level of support is unacceptable, and I'm left with no option but to escalate here.
  9. More like no one cares about SWTOR PVP in 2019.
  10. That's HK-51. HK-55 was the model introduced with KOTFE and "rebuilt" as part of this questline if you had the sub perk.
  11. That's a negative, Ghostrider. I have Hexid showing as unavailable with neither an Alliance alert nor Mission entry. Not that it matters at this stage. With the QA issues over the past year, my confidence in this title being managed at even a maintenance level has been eroded, and I will be not be renewing my sub after many, many years.
  12. That's not the exploit, that's the FIX. The exploit itself was when the gifts themselves cost NOTHING and could be refunded for the full original credit amount. In other words, you'd buy a stack of 9999 gifts for ZERO credits, and sell them back for over 9 MILLION. The total time to do this is measured in seconds. The exploit was in the wild for over two hours. Let that sink in a sec.
  13. Buying crates for CC's is a sucker's game. Buying literally ANYTHING for CC that isn't a collection unlock is nearly always a losing value proposition. You can very easily calculate your dollar > credit valuation and the reality is that you're FAR better off letting someone else spend their CC and buying it with credits. If no one is buying, then they'll simply have to adjust CC prices. Either way, you come out ahead.
  14. What "meme", chief? There was LITERALLY a documented exploit for a few hours after servers up and make no mistake, players took advantage of it. After their response to the last two exploits, there's little to no fear of reprisal. If you look on Satele alone, you'll see someone literally bought up EVERY hypercrate just 18 hours after the exploit hit and has already begun laundering billions of credits.
