Are you implying that the original movies, games, books, etc. were things you couldn't share with your kids?

Eh, while I wholeheartedly disagree with the notion that Disney's Star Wars is good (I outright despise it, tbh), you're free to like whatever you wish. Don't let the more radical voices influence the way you enjoy things.

It's not so much as the ease of gaining these credits but rather the TIME SPENT on getting them. Some of us don't have the time to fight a mob, heal up, fight another mob, heal up just to get to ONE MAT SOURCE. We've finished this game, we've reached the max level, why can't we afford some leisure doing the other mundane things left in this game? We've got other things to do in real life, and we want to able to finish our grind/tasks in a reasonable amount of time before we log off for the day. The ONLY THING I like about level sync, in any MMO, is the ability to rank up with my friends with their lower leveled alts. THAT'S IT. And that's certainly something I will do as it is much more convenient than having to start a new character and level it up together. We don't have the same schedules, so we don't have to worry about over-leveling the other. But when it comes to me soloing content, I'd rather have the OPTION to turn level sync off.

That's a complete bummer. I relied on the decoration grind to fund my alts. As far as I can tell, solo mode rarely drops gear or decorations (if at all). Hmm, now I have to find some other time-saving way to earn credits.

This is something I've noticed as well ever since coming back to 3.0. Silver mobs are indeed more dangerous than golds at the moment. I was having a considerably harder time fighting silvers on my 55+ chars compared to all the golds sprinkled about and thought it to be just a high level thing that you experience as part of giving endgame players more a challenge (if you really want to call it that). So I went to play as my 42 sentinel on Hoth with 41 blue gear and some purples with Kira as my companion. Fighting a level 37 silver would bring me down to 20 - 30% HP whereas fighting a gold only brought me down to 50-70% on average. There is something definitely wrong with this picture. It's as if someone switched the damage tables of golds with silvers.

I'd rather they get rid of arenas first. Matchmaking there is usually borked and teams are never filled from the get go.

It is quite odd that the Republic would settle with a Hutt-themed color scheme for their space station. You would think that they would have the same white and red style present in their ships. Bioware, please make the Republic station less of an underworld hideout with superfluous, out-of-place fashion ads and turn it into a proper military outpost that we, the stalwart defenders of the Republic, can be proud of.
