Just as a slight note for all the people saying that you do not get your original comps back; you are incorrect. You do after you complete Chapter 9 in the room just north of Hylo Viz there is your commander room with a data pad that has your basic triangle above it (Rewards for leveling your alliance commanders affection levels) to the right of that (north!) is a holo terminal, click on it and you can summon your old companions. Although you will receive a warning about that they are not in the story yet ect ect and it is not cannon (and no new dialogue), but if you want them now click here! Now with that stated I have to concur with the OP about static gear and no ability to custimize your new comps is total BS. But look at the the bright side! Lana and crew alt appearances coming to a cartel market near you soon!

This one I can answer, you have to goto the twitch to watch the video but all current schematics(namely armor) will be archived so you still can craft them but namely only for just cosmetic effect and not for stats. Only the new schematic will be used for stats.

I did not get that from reading what Erickson said. To me it sounded more like SGRAs will be in the next major story update. I am thinking something on the lines of another whole full act here, and with the lead time for writers here it will be at the year's mark before they will start talking about what is to come. But when said story update is released and they happen to deliver SGRAs the sith storm shall renew again. I concur with you sentiments in regards of Bioware's handling of this topic it has been something of a PR disaster from the get go, and if they fail to deliver...*shakes head* I can always spend my money elsewhere.

Heh, I only tend to come to the forums (after the second great purge) if something blows up, there is waaaaay to much drama going on here, or if something from the splash screen entices me to click the link (ie 1.3). Well at least 2 gamers can agree on one thing, that is a little more forewarning would have been much apperciated. Hopefull Bioware has their abestos suits on, kind getting hot in here.

I see your point, but they did know that the servers were going down, the were kind enough to post it on the forums. So how much harder or longer would it take to make at least one server wide annoucement that the server will be going down. Probably just as long as it took me to write this post. They knew something was up posted on the forums and hit the switch, but failed terriblly to communicate that with their consumers. And this is why there is a spit storm going on, it is called costomer service, in which they just had an epic fail.
